The new London dining spot that's taking TikTok by storm
From the team behind Zephyr and Bottarga, two of my favourite Mediterranean-inspired spots, Nina has been causing a stir online, making it notoriously difficult to get a reservation.
The team have been taking TikTok followers on a behind the scenes journey of getting the restaurant ready for diners, and it's captured London diners' appeal and tastebuds.
I managed to secure a table, and let me tell you - it was worth the hype.
The moment I walked in, I understood why people are obsessed.
The atmosphere is effortlessly stylish, with warm lighting, elegant decor, and a crowd that looks like they stepped out of a fashion editorial.
There's a buzzy energy to the place, making it feel like the spot to be.
(Image: Immy Share, Newsquest) One of my favourite parts was the decor and the fun notes that have been put in place of pictures coming on the wall - with one saying "artwork reveal soon".
Now, onto the food - because that's where Nina really shines.
The focaccia with parmesan butter arrived first, and I could've made a meal out of it alone. The bread was perfectly fluffy with a golden crust, and the parmesan butter was indulgently rich, melting into every bite.
(Image: Immy Share, Newsquest)Next, we had yellowtail with Stracciatella, a dish that balanced fresh, silky fish with creamy cheese in a way that felt both unexpected and genius.
But my personal favorite? The tuna tataki on orange melon - a combination I'd never tried before, but one that worked beautifully.
It's an Instagram and TikTok favourite, but it doesn't just look good and that's what I liked about it.
The raw tuna had just the right amount of bite, while the juicy melon added a burst of sweetness that made the whole dish sing.
For mains, we shared the tomato spaghetti and the duck ragu.
The spaghetti was a lesson in simplicity, with perfectly cooked pasta coated in a deep, vibrant tomato sauce.
(Image: Immy Share, Newsquest)Meanwhile, the duck ragu was rich, comforting, and packed with layers of flavor - the kind of dish that makes you want to mop up every last drop with some leftover focaccia.
When it came to dessert, I had my eye on the huge tiramisu that had been making the rounds on TikTok, but I couldn't resist the chocolate sorbet with sea salt, especially because it was only for two of us.

It was the perfect balance of bitter, sweet, and salty, with a texture so smooth it felt almost luxurious.
Between the effortlessly cool vibe, the seriously good food, and the impossible-to-get reservations, it's clear why Nina has gone viral.
It's the kind of place that feels like a special night out without being overly fussy.
If you manage to snag a table, consider yourself lucky - you're in for a treat.

DC Studios Reportedly Searching for an Unknown Mediterranean Actress to Play DCU's Wonder Woman — GeekTyrant
DC Studios appears to be moving quickly on its next big superhero projects after the success of Superman , and Wonder Woman is one of the films at top of the list. Recent reports suggest the studio is fast-tracking a new film centered on Diana, which could make it the next DCU movie to roll into production after Clayface . A writer is already working on the script, and if this project is now a major priority for Warner Bros. and DC, it's not hard to imagine that casting could be underway. According to industry insider Jeff Sneider on this week's episode of The Hot Mic, the studio is reportedly on the hunt for an unknown actress to take on the role of Wonder Woman. Sneider shared: 'I've asked around to see if they might want to go an unexpected route by possibly casting someone Black or Latina, and was told it would more than likely be someone of Mediterranean descent — but a Black actress may wind up playing the lead in the Paradise Lost Max series.' This approach makes sense for James Gunn's vision of the DCU. Gunn has been open about introducing fresh faces into iconic roles rather than relying on established A-list stars. Of course, 'unknown' doesn't necessarily mean completely new to the screen, but fans hoping for popular picks like Melissa Barrera or Adria Arjona might be disappointed if this report holds true. Speculation about Arjona heated up recently when fans noticed Gunn following the Andor star on social media. Gunn quickly addressed the rumor, saying, 'You know, I follow Adria on Instagram. And everyone came out, 'He just followed her. That means she's Wonder Woman.' She'd be a great Wonder Woman, by the way. But she was in a movie I made, seven years ago. We've been friends and have known each other since that time. So, I followed her then, I didn't just follow her [recently].' If these reports are accurate, who will step into the boots and tiara of the DCU's Wonder Woman? A Mediterranean actress makes sense for Diana's origins, and casting an unknown talent could give the character a fresh start. For now, fans will have to wait and see who emerges as the new face of the Amazonian warrior.

Model Responds To Fake Astronomer CEO Daughter Video
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Julie Tuzet, a French model and songwriter, has responded after a viral TikTok video appeared to claim that she was the daughter of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. "I am not the CEO's daughter," she said in a video. Why It Matters Byron and Kristin Cabot, Astronomer's head of human resources, were seen on a jumbotron embracing at a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, last week. Footage of the incident, which showed the couple breaking apart in a panic, was later uploaded to TikTok, where it became a viral sensation. Byron, who is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, has resigned from his CEO position amid the fallout. His embrace of Cabot has been widely parodied on- and offline. The moment has also renewed a national discussion about privacy in the digital age. TikTok/Screenshot/5./15 West What To Know A video that has circulated widely across social media shows a young woman standing by a firepit, with a text overlay saying, "Reconnecting with life after your dads affair makes national news." While the video does not explicitly name Byron, given the intense virality of the jumbotron footage and subsequent fallout, he appears to be the "dad" referenced in the video. Though the video features Tuzet, she has no connection to Byron. In a video posted on TikTok, the model said: "You probably have seen this video of me at a fireplace 'reconnecting' with nature. It's just someone who stole my videos and my content from TikTok to create this fake news. And it's going viral." Speaking with Newsweek by email, Tuzet said, "This is unfortunately not the first time my content is being stolen, and I'd truly appreciate this to be the last time." "I woke up the other day with 100 messages of my friends and family sending me this viral video of myself taken originally in Guatape, Colombia, three months ago," she said. "It is me in the video, but the text is not mine, and the account is not mine neither," the songwriter continued. Her TikTok video calling out the stolen content has been viewed more than 197,000 times as of reporting. It's not the only video she has posted about the situation. In another post, she shared a clip of herself in front of the firepit with a text overlay that said, "Reconnecting with nature after getting impersonated on TikTok by some troll using my videos for clout once again." That video has been viewed more than 162,000 times. Following the viral jumbotron moment, "Andy Byron" quickly jumped to the top of Google's trending searches. Social media users have closely followed the incident, which has all the ingredients to make a modern scandal. What People Are Saying Julie Tuzet told Newsweek by email: "My face has been all over the news in the past days as 'The CEO's daughter' … I am a French model and singer-songwriter from Paris that just had her identity stolen." What Happens Next Online misinformation has long been a concern, but in the age of AI, fake news is rapidly increasing.

Video: Goldendoodle Is Taking Big Brother ‘Responsibilities' Pretty Seriously
Dogs love to be the only child in the household, and the addition of a new furry sibling or a baby might leave them confused at first. However, they are also quick to form lifelong bonds with the new member while also taking on new 'responsibilities' as a brother or a sister. A Goldendoodle named Mostly recently attained a new promotional role as a brother to his baby sibling. In a video posted on the account @mostlythedoodle, the canine quickly realized that he wasn't the baby anymore and had a little one to look after. Goldendoodle takes care of baby in adorable video Goldendoodle Mostly was already a brother to toddler sister Tete, but now he took on the additional responsibility of being a big brother to a new sibling. An Instagram video showed the dog taking care of the newborn baby while realizing that he has not one but two siblings to tend to. While this might look overwhelming, the canine was more than welcoming of the baby, with his little actions proving his status as the big brother and protector. The owner aptly described Mostly's thoughts in the video, saying, 'When you used to be the baby but now you have responsibilities.' The clip began with the Goldendoodle using his paw to rock the baby in his little chair. The baby, seemingly wearing a white onesie, was fast asleep because of his dog brother's loving care. As the canine took care of his baby brother, his jaw appeared to drop, likely making him realize the extra work he must put in to take care of the new baby in the household. However, Mostly quickly adapted to his role as a brother, which now extended to two siblings. Despite being a 'bit dramatic' initially, the Goldendoodle composed himself and cuddled beside his baby brother on the chair. With the baby resting and the chair rocking, the dog gently showered the newborn with some love, completely embracing his new role. Meanwhile, fans and followers applauded Mostly for bravely taking on his role as the big brother. One claimed that the dog finally found his 'purpose,' while another mentioned that he took his promotion seriously.
