Amazon has reduced the 'amazing' and 'salon quality' straightener as part of its huge Prime Day sale Amazon has reduced a "salon quality" hair straightener as part of its huge Prime Day sale. The annual event, which has seen thousands of products dropped in price this week, will end at midnight tonight (July 11.) The Remington Proluxe Ceramic Hair Straightener has been reduced from £109.99 to £34.99, a massive 68% discount. The product comes in a "luxurious soft black finish with rose gold accents" and aims to provide "professional styling results." It comes with ceramic-coated plates and nine temperature settings and heats up in 15 seconds. There's also an "integrated digital display" on the hair straightener. The product description reads: "Be hairstyle ready for whatever life sends your way, with long-lasting styles from the professional grade PROluxe Midnight Edition Straighteners. The intelligent OPTIheat technology found inside the PROluxe straightener has been specially engineered to provide consistent heat to your hair where it matters, and the results will be seen all day." Alternatively, shoppers can snap up the ghd Original Hair Straightener for £97.99, down from £139, at Boots. "I loved the different heat options and have set mine at PRO. They really do take only 15 seconds to heat up and the fact that you can set the temperature so that they automatically go to that setting when you switch them on is an added bonus.
