Katherine Schwarzenegger Shares the 1 Lesson She's Learned as a Boy Mom, and Her Diaper Bag Essentials (Exclusive)
The mom of three tells PEOPLE exclusively that the changing process with her son is a "totally different ballgame"
Schwarzenegger shares three children with her husband Chris PrattKatherine Schwarzenegger Pratt is opening up about what it's like being a boy mom.
While chatting with PEOPLE about her partnership with Triple Paste, the mom of three, 35, opened up about her must-have essentials in her baby's diaper bag, life as a boy mom and more. She tells PEOPLE that with her baby boy Ford, 6 months, whom she welcomed with husband Chris Pratt in November 2024, the changing process is a "totally different ballgame."
"Changing a baby boy diaper is a totally different ballgame! If you know, you know!" she tells PEOPLE. "You have to be quick and stealth. I've gotten peed on far too many times, so when gearing up for a diaper change, I need to have all my key players ready for action (hello Triple Paste, diapers and wipes)."
"Then I act fast, not only to avoid the open air accidents, but also to keep baby busy and my other kids entertained by my level of speed in diaper changes these days!" Schwarzenegger Pratt adds.

Schwarzenegger Pratt also shared one of her top tips for taking care of a little one.
"I'd tell any new Mom to trust that when you spot a diaper rash starting, applying Triple Paste ... will put you at ease because of how fast-acting it is," she says. "We all know that getting a diaper rash cared for from the start makes such a huge difference and this product is a sure way to do that."
In addition to their son Ford, the couple shares two daughters, Eloise Christina, 2, and Lyla Maria, 4. The Jurassic World star, 45, also has a 12-year-old son, Jack Pratt, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.
Maintaining a household with little ones is not easy. During a February 2024 episode of Gut Feelings with Lo Bosworth, the BDA Baby podcast host talked with host Lo Bosworth, about how she balances her life as a working mom of two kids, revealing her biggest piece of advice for dealing with "mom burnout."
"It's a balancing act and the balancing act is not balanced every day for sure. So understanding that is the number one most important thing I think we go into," Schwarzenegger Pratt began.
"Everything in my life has to have the exact equal amount of time I have to give. My self time, my children time, my career time, my husband time, my family, my friends time," she added. "So if you have that level of pressure, it's just, it's never ending and that's exhausting and it's just not realistic."

"Taking that off the table is number one most important thing," Schwarzenegger explained. "And it's interesting because this whole idea of mom burnout or just burnout in general is a huge topic that comes up for BDA baby of wanting to talk about and wanting support in that space because moms are exhausted and they feel like they have such huge burnout of just going, going, going, and then obviously neglecting themselves or neglecting certain parts of their life in the journey of that."
Schwarzenegger Pratt noted that above all, moms should realize that many of them are also feeling the same burnout.
"And then I think just being gentle with yourself is probably the best piece of advice that I can give anybody feeling burnout, especially in the mom space, because you have kids that are needing your love and support and attention all the time, and a partner as well, and different parts of your life," she said, noting it's important to realize that "you're going to be late. You're going to have things not go your way. Your kids are going to get sick. You're going to have to go to appointments."

5 top new movies to stream this week on Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu and more (Aug. 5-11)
The start of another week means a fresh slate of movies arriving across the best streaming services. And the biggest fish in the pond, Netflix, is sitting the next seven days out, which gives Prime Video, HBO Max and more the chance to take the spotlight. However, the biggest newcomer this week can be found on premium video-on-demand platforms. Jurassic World Rebirth' is set to make the tyrannosaurus-sized leap from cinemas to streaming. And viewers looking for more blockbuster action will also want to check out 'The Pickup' on Prime Video. Plus, the summer of Pedro Pascal continues over on HBO Max. These are the top new movies you can stream this week, and if you're in the mood for a binge-watch, check out our guide to the top new TV shows this week. 'Jurassic World Rebirth' is the best 'Jurassic' movie since the original 'Jurassic World' back in 2015. OK, so when the competition is 'Fallen Kingdom' and 'Dominion,' which are, in my opinion, two of the worst tentpole blockbusters of the last decade, that's faint praise. But still, 'Rebith' represents a step in the right direction for a franchise that has so often struggled to recapture the enduring magic of the original 'Jurassic Park.' Even though I admit, it's fun but flawed. 'Rebirth' sees Scarlett Johansson play Zora Bennett, an ex-military special operative, who leads a team into one of the world's most dangerous places: A tropical island that served as the research facility for the original Jurassic Park. The mission requires them to secure three DNA samples from specific dinosaurs, but of course, the plan goes awry. Also starring Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey, it packs plenty of dino-themed fun, but the series' insistence on creating new mutated creatures does feel ill-judged. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Buy or rent on Amazon from August 5 Prime Video is following up its summer streaming hit, 'Heads of State,' with another high-stakes action comedy in the form of 'The Pickup.' This one looks perfect for viewers craving a big-budget romp, but without having to shell out for a cinema ticket and overpriced theatre snacks. Its cast list is also nothing to sneeze at, with Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, Keke Palmer and Eva Longoria headlining. I doubt it'll be a critical darling, but its future as a Prime Video No. 1 looks pretty secure. 'The Pickup' centers on two armored truck drivers (Murphy and Davidson) who face the shift from hell when criminals, led by a savvy mastermind (Palmer), ambush them and attempt to steal their vehicle's cargo. What follows is an action-packed shift as these mismatched co-workers are roped into a dangerous heist with highly personal stakes. The setup seems predictable, but the trailer promises plenty of explosions and lots of slapstick comedy gags. Watch on Prime Video from August 6 'The Monkey' is one of my biggest disappointments of 2025. It's not because it's bad, but rather considering the pedigree of director Oz Perkins (the man behind last year's 'Longlegs' and the overlooked 'The Blackcoat's Daughter'), I had high hopes for this horror, and ultimately, my expectations weren't quite met. Still, there's a lot of darkly comedic fun to be found in this blood-drenched movie, and now that it's arriving on Hulu, the barrier to entry has dropped considerably. 'The Monkey' offers a series of extremely gory kills, stitched together by an off-kilter story that's a little too goofy. The movie opens with twin brothers finding a strange and very creepy wind-up monkey doll. This odd toy is actually cursed and causes a string of horrific deaths. Fast forward 25 years, and the brothers (both played by Theo James) have become estranged. But when the monkey doll resurfaces, they're forced to reunite to end the curse for good. Watch on Hulu from August 7 Comedy-slashers are back in vogue with 'Heart Eyes' blending horror and humor back in February, and 'Clown in a Cornfield' bringing the same mixture to the summer months. It's certainly no 'Scream,' but it does play with the audience's expectations in some novel ways. However, the final reveal is seriously derivative of Edgar Wright's fantastic cop comedy 'Hot Fuzz,' which lessens its impact. Otherwise, it's a slasher with some grizzly kills and some very irritating characters, ones that make frustrating decisions too often. Based on the novel of the same name by Adam Cesare, it follows high school student Quinn (Katie Douglas) and her father (Aaron Abrams) as they relocate to the small town of Kettle Springs. The quaint town has fallen on hard times in the wake of a factory fire destroying its main industry, and things get even worse when a sinister clown named Frendo starts stalking Quinn and her new pals. Watch on Shudder from August 8 If my social media feeds are any indication, Pedro Pascal fatigue appears to be sweeping the internet. However, if you're not suffering from this strange phenomenon, you'll be pleased to see 'Freaky Tales' is heading to HBO Max this week after a limited theatrical release back in April. This anthology action-comedy is split into four interconnected chapters and focuses on real historical events that took place during 1987 in Oakland, California. These individual stories focus on an eclectic cast of characters from an NBA star to a corrupt cop, a female rap duo to a group of teenage punks. Also featuring Jay Ellis, Normani, Dominique Thorne, Ben Mendelsohn, Angus Cloud and a small role for America's surrogate father, Tom Hanks, 'Freaky Tales' was embraced by critics and audiences alike. It currently holds a particularly strong 89% viewer score on Rotten Tomatoes. Watch on HBO Max from August 8

'Below Deck''s Captain Kerry Says Viewers Only Saw 'a Short Part' of Charter Guest's Meltdown: 'It Was Very Intense' (Exclusive)
"We could only put so much into a 45-minute episode," Captain Kerry tells PEOPLENEED TO KNOW Below Deck star Captain Kerry Titheradge opens up about charter guest Kelly's meltdown that saw her removed from the mega-yacht Titheradge looks back on the incident in a new interview, telling PEOPLE exclusively that it's the "craziest experience" he's had as a captain Below Deck airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on BravoThis week's episode of Below Deck continues the epic meltdown of charter guest Kelly, and Captain Kerry Titheradge is breaking down all the drama. Last week, viewers saw Kelly get so drunk and confrontational with Titheradge and his crew that it got to the point where police had to be called to step in and remove Kelly from the mega-yacht. Titheradge tells PEOPLE exclusively that viewers only get to see "a short part" of the altercation. "We could only put so much into a 45-minute episode," Titheradge says of the incident. "But it was very, very, very intense for everybody in the vessel." Titheradge calls the Kelly situation the "craziest experience" he's had as a captain. Titheradge says he "had concerns" as soon as Kelly boarded the yacht with her friends. "Her energy was intense," he recalls, adding that after being in the business as long as he has, you tend to figure out quickly "who to watch out for." As Kelly continued drinking with her friends, Titheradge says he "could hear how she was being belligerent" and, after making his own assessment of the situation, decided to cut her off from alcohol "not to punish her, but to protect her and everyone else." "It's such a hard thing to do at first because you don't want to be a party pooper, right? But it's about safety," Titheradge continues. "Her enjoyment is secondary to her safety." He explains that he instructed his crew to offer Kelly sparkling water as an alternative so as not to "embarrass" her in front of her friends, but she "refused" that option. Things took a turn for the worst when Kelly requested to go out on the banana boat and, ignoring Titheradge's request for her to wear a life jacket, jumped into the water without one in an act of defiance. After pulling Kelly out of the water, Titheradge and his crew attempted to get a handle on the situation as Kelly grew increasingly more aggressive with them. Titheradge says he has "absolutely" never had a charter guest get aggressive with him or his crew like this before. "I was trying to physically stop her from getting in the water, at first using my body to block her, but then she'd try to get past me," he remembers. "I asked the crew to move up. They kind of made a wall so she couldn't get past us to get her into a safer area of the vessel." Titheradge says he is "just very impressed" with how his crew handled the tense situation. Titheradge says the decision to get police involved was one he didn't take lightly. He says he made the call because he didn't see things improving despite many attempts to quell the situation. "She couldn't stay with us. We weren't the place for her to get better," Titheradge notes. "I tried to give her some time to chill out inside the vessel," he continues. "I had my crew staged at every exit so she couldn't get out of the boat for her own safety, but she just wouldn't calm down." Calling the police for help in a situation like this was a first for Titheradge. "Normally, it's the opposite," he jokes. Normally, I'm in Saint-Tropez and the Bose [speaker] is playing a bit too loud and I'm asking the police to leave us alone. I'm not asking them to come and help us." Titheradge praised the primary charter guest, Helen, for having a "very calming nature" and helping deal with the situation. "When things got to the point where [getting Kelly off the boat] was the only option, I couldn't send her ashore by herself," he reasons. "I mean, that wouldn't be responsible at all, so I asked Helen to go with her." Titheradge also raved about Helen's "sense of empathy" for making her "the right person to ensure Kelly wasn't left alone because she was in such a fragile state." "The next part I'm worried about is when she comes to herself, what will she do when she realizes what she's just done on TV?" he says of what he thought at the time. As seen in this week's episode, Helen rejoins the charter after taking care of Kelly throughout the night. Despite the dramatic situation, Titheradge says he's "got compassion" for Kelly. "I looked at her like a wounded animal," he says. "Mental health is very important to me, and I could see that she just wasn't there. She wasn't herself." Titheradge reveals that "the last thing" he wanted was for Kelly to get arrested, so he approached the "delicate" situation with authorities with that in mind. That, plus the officers spoke French and there were nationalities and jurisdictions to factor into the equation, too. "I really had to impart to them what the situation was because she was a danger to herself more than anybody else," he says. "I gave her plenty of time to cool down — you only saw a short part of that," Titheradge continues. "I didn't want to get the police involved in an incident that was being handled, if you know what I mean." After the dust settled, Titheradge says he has seen Kelly since that fateful day aboard the yacht, "but the incident wasn't discussed."
