The Mountains review – a beautiful portrait of a family's attempt to process a tragedy
Through voiceover, Einshøj recalls this painful history with profound introspection, as well as humour. Grainy home videos, largely shot by Einshøj's father, Søren, resurface, but while Søren used his camera to preserve Kristoffer's memories before his death, Einshøj turns to film-making as a means of reconciliation. Unable to process Kristoffer's death, Søren retreats into the numbing grind of work. Meanwhile, Einshøj has grown apart from his surviving brothers, Frederik and Alex, both of whom experience periods of depression as a result of their shared trauma.
It is perhaps due to the confessional nature of Einshøj's project that, after years of silence, the brothers finally open up to one another about their deepest fears and anxieties. At times, the documentary has the freewheeling charm of a road movie, with Einshøj embarking on various journeys to bring his scattered family together. In one particularly touching sequence, filled with the deadpan humour of Einshøj's narration, the three brothers dress up in superhero costumes. Behind them is the majestic mountain range of their childhood home; with the young men now standing shoulder to shoulder, a beautiful picture of love and unity emerges from the heartaches of yesterday.

Julia Roberts' son Phinnaeus, 20, shows off his skateboarding prowess while shirtless in rare video
Julia Roberts ' husband Danny Moder had a proud dad moment on Monday as he shared a video of their son Phinnaeus skateboarding. The 56-year-old father-of-three used Instagram to share a slow-motion clip of their 20-year-old effortlessly gliding on a ramp. Danny — who celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary with Julia, 57, on July 4 — captioned the clip: 'Who likes butter?' In addition to Phinnaeus, the longtime married couple also share Finn's twin sister Hazel and their 18-year-old son Henry. In May, Danny marked Mother's Day by sharing a photo of his wife and their brood, writing, 'Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys.' In June, the Stepmom star used Instagram to pay tribute to her youngest child on his birthday. She shared a throwback image from his childhood and added the note, 'In the blink of a joyful eye this beacon of a boy is 18. I love you Henry. #goldenboy #goldenbirthday.' Her celebrity friends joined in the comments to add their well wishes, with Jennifer Aniston saying, 'Happy Birthday sweet Henry!' And Tom Hanks' wife Rita Wilson added, 'Henry!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!' Julia recently unveiled a fresh look when new images from her upcoming movie After The Hunt were shared online. She traded her ginger head of curls for a long blonde bob as she transformed into character as Alma Olsson. The film, in theaters October 10, also stars Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny. From director Luca Guadagnino, an official synopsis describes the project as 'a gripping psychological drama about a college professor (Julia) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light.' Fans can also expect to see the Hollywood vet in another forthcoming movie called Panic Carefully. Described as a paranoid thriller, filming began earlier this year in England. Julia's costars include Elizabeth Olsen, Eddie Redmayne and Brian Tyree Henry. There have also been reports that Roberts will appear alongside Jennifer Aniston in a body-swap comedy for Amazon Studios. Palm Springs director Max Barbakow is behind the feature, which was shopped around to four studios before landing at Amazon.

The Block's Dan and Dani Reilly break down while sharing heartbreaking family tragedy
There was barely a dry eye in the house on Monday's episode of The Block as Dan Reilly opened up about his heartbreaking family tragedy. The series foreman kicked off the episode's pre-start meeting with wife Dani, who broke down as they spoke for the first time on television about the loss of their daughter, Billie. The reality TV couple tragically lost their daughter in December last year at just ten days old. 'I guess most people here would know our journey last year. We had our little girl, Billie – she arrived on the eighth of the twelfth last year,' Dan told the assembled cast and crew. 'Due to some... complications through birth we only got to spend ten days with our beautiful girl, Billie.' As the mood became more sombre, Dani continued: 'So, we're actually very grateful for those ten days – her time was spent in the NICU department at the Women's Hospital in Melbourne.' He was quick to praise the NICU staff, with Dani echoing his sentiments. 'Unfortunately, it didn't end in the way that it should have for us, but our time there, as Dan said, was really with Billie,' Dani said. 'Getting to know the nurses and doctors will be probably one of the things that we remember forever.' Dan then added that he and Dani were on a 'mission' to raise funds and awareness for NICUs around the country as well as Red Nose Australia. 'Their support for us has been absolutely amazing and they guide you through something that nobody should ever have to go through.' Dani added: 'And we're grateful for The Block for giving us the platform to be able to raise awareness for these organisations that were there for us.' To honour their daughter's memory, Dan and Dani have established Billie's Besties, a foundation that aims to raise money for the NICU at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. The couple struggled to hold back tears as they recounted the harrowing story, and tenderly embraced as the teams also became visibly emotional. Since December, the couple has raised more than $93,000 for NICU support as a tribute to Billie. The reality TV couple took to Instagram in December to share the devastating news that their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, had passed away on Wednesday at just 10 days old. They posted a photograph of themselves with their arms around one another as they stood beside their daughter's cot in hospital. In a heartbreaking tribute, Dani shared her 'insurmountable' grief and said she and Dan both felt 'honoured' to be Billie's parents. They wrote: 'Billie Vera Reilly 8/12/24 - 18/12/24. It is with insurmountable grief that we share the news that our daughter Billie, has passed on from this life and into the next at just 10 days young. 'In Billie's short time in this world, she taught us an intensity of both love and pain we never knew possible. She taught us what really matters. 'Billie was so wanted, so loved and she made us parents… and what an honour it is to be her mummy and daddy. She will always be our daughter. 'It's clear to us that Billie was far too good for this world but if we know anything for sure, it's that Billie's legacy will make an impact greater than all of us. 'Thank you @mrskevinsphotos for capturing such beautiful family photos for us and also for @heartfelt_ausnz for capturing many of Billie's firsts.' The couple first hit national attention when they appeared on the 2012 series of The Block. The pair, who were dating at the time, took out second place honours and a profit of $448,000. The pair returned in 2013 for The Block All Stars series, walking away with third place and a profit of $220,000. Dan has since taken on a role as foreman on the show and they also host the Dan vs Dani series, critiquing each team's Room Reveals every week. The couple tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate ceremony on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

I saw filth I can never unsee on Bonnie Blue's explicit TV doc – but here's why Channel 4 was right to show it
I SPENT Saturday afternoon watching porn. Yup, with some trepidation and a nice cup of tea, I popped on Channel 4's (very) controversial Bonnie Blue documentary on catch-up. 6 Frankly, I may as well have whacked on Pornhub and been done with it. To say it was explicit is an understatement. I saw things I can never unsee. Men in balaclavas gang-banging this 26-year-old 'content creator', penises going in places I didn't want to see them going, scrawny necks being faux- strangled, Bonnie's head merrily bobbing up and down as she worked her way through over 1,000 men. (More on these low-lifes later). Not surprisingly, Channel 4 has come in for some criticism. Advertisers have pulled out, as it were, of online adverts and now the independent pornography taskforce is proposing legislation this autumn to ban this type of 'barely legal' coverage. The show, 1,000 Men And Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, was as eye-opening as it was disturbing. After setting her world record for most men shagged in 24 hours — her senior school must be so proud — Bonnie was seen blowing her nose (which, I suppose, made a change from other things) and cheerfully admitted she'd come down with the worst flu she'd ever experienced. That, of course, being the only thing coming for Bonnie — a woman who admits she gets no sexual gratification from fornicating with anyone 'barely legal' and over. Channel 4 had every right to air this programme, though. It may have made for tough viewing, unless you like this kind of thing, but is a story that deserves our attention. Viewers outraged at Bonnie Blue claiming she is a 'community worker' as she sleeps with 1,000 men in explosive new doc As a public service provider, the broadcaster has a remit to inform and cover things other channels may be too squeamish to cover. For, like her or loathe her, Bonnie Blue — real name Tia Billinger — is a morality tale of our era. In 50 years' time, if not now, young scholars will be studying this cultural phenomenon — a woman who bragged about earning £1.5million a MONTH. She need never work again. So why she doesn't just emigrate back to Australia where she previously lived with her ex-public school boyfriend, and change her name, I will never know. But Bonnie, like so many young people, patently wants to be famous. She craves the spotlight like a flower craves the sun. Yet Ms Blue is no English rose. She is like so many of Gen Z — an influencer, desperately trying to shock and provoke, and make money. Obviously, it's her body, her choice. She's doing nothing illegal, no matter how morally dubious. Glamorising porn She also revealed on the programme she'd put her entire family on the payroll so they never need work again. She is many things but, ultimately, above all else, she is a very canny businesswoman. Sites like OnlyFans — with whom she's currently locked in a dispute — are glamorising porn. Young women are putting their bodies on full display and preying on the over-testosteroned nature of men. If I found out a male friend followed Bonnie or, even worse, had queued up to use her services, I would never look at him in the same way. I'm not sure we could still be friends. Imagine finding out your dad, or brother, cousin or husband, was a fan. Grounds for divorce, surely. Likely diseases aside, what she is doing is vile. But the men who enable her are far, far worse. If they didn't willingly pay, no one would have heard of her. The problem is, today no one under 25 wants to work. As three million Brits are unemployed, they see a nine-to-five office job as overt failure. Why study for seven years in med school when you can stick a tripod up and get your tits out aged 18? Why drive a train, or graft in a bar, or clean the streets when — on paper — you can earn so much more, ostensibly for less. Bonnie compared her endeavours to being an ultra-marathon runner. Certainly, she needed stamina and hydration for her grotesque feat of endurance. But there is no podium finish or gold medal at the end of all this for Bonnie. Only a life of shame or, at the very least, notoriety, while setting a stupidly dangerous precedent for those vulnerable teenagers looking at her as a trailblazer. Lindsay's love of my life . . . apparently NICE to see Lindsay Lohan making her Hollywood return following a drug and booze-induced exodus. Not least because she is my exit strategy. 6 A few years ago, I made a work trip to see Meghan Markle's old psychic – an American chap called Richard Win – and he predicted I would one day work with Lindsay then we'd fall in love and run off into the sunset together. Which seemed a stretch for many reasons. When I asked him whether I'd die alone eaten by Alsatians, Richard replied: 'I don't think so. 'I see a relationship before the end of the year. You might date a redhead. Have you met Lindsay Lohan? 'I see you working with her. 'She might be sexually attracted to you. I see a relationship.' Expect to see me on the red carpet any day now. TATTOO STUPID 'SUN tattoos' are the Next Big Thing, according to Gen Z. Youngsters are frying themselves in the sun, while strategically using sunscreen in different shapes on their body so as to get white- looking tats. Obviously cancer charities are up in arms at this latest TikTok trend. Doctors are horrified and Yannick Neuder, the French health minister who is a cardio- logist by training, has posted his own video on social media warning the practice could cause serious skin damage or cancer in later life. Alas, whether a bespectacled 56-year-old minister in suit and tie can influence teenagers remains to be seen. NICE FRY, CALVIN 6 WHAT is it about celebs and needless over-sharing? While congratulations are in order for Calvin Harris and Vick Hope on the birth of their son, Micah, why the DJ felt the need to include a photo of her PLACENTA, complete with umbilical cord, followed by said placenta chopped up in what appeared to be an air fryer, is beyond me. All rather Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Still, nice with some chianti, perhaps. El of a chance to shine 6 STRICTLY Come Dancing has had a lot written about it recently – much of it bad, and much of it written by me. But what I will say for the show, and the BBC, is that it deserves praise for helping to break down barriers and raise visibility for minority groups who, for too many years, have been ignored. The signing of actress Ellie Goldstein, who has Down syndrome, is a wonderful one. Brilliant blind comedian Chris McCausland and supremely talented deaf actress Rose Ayling-Ellis did so much for their respective communities. Tellingly, both of them won their series. I'm told Ellie is a great dancer, so here's hoping that she has similar success. TRULY, whoever is doing the PR for fat jabs deserves a raise. One minute they're being hailed as a prospective cure for osteoarthritis, the next they are curbing addiction and saving us from heart disease. According to latest reports, they could also prove to be a cure for Alzheimer's. What remarkable drugs they are (pancreatic cancer risk aside).
