Steelers fans start crazy chant during Pat McAfee Show at training camp practice

Yahoo3 days ago
Pittsburgh Steelers fans don't need an excuse to show how much they hate Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. So when Pat McAfree arrived at Steelers training camp practice to do his show, it just gave them a bigger platform to do show it.
During the broadcast, shown live on ESPN, Steelers' fans broke out into an NSFW chant about Garrett, and McAfee played right into the energy of the crowd. We won't say what the chant was, but if you click the link in the X post below, the video is pretty straightforward. The Garrett vs T.J. Watt debate rages on at Steelers training camp.
Steelers fans were enraged this week when EA Sports put out their 99 Club. Garrett not only made the list with a 99 player rating but was the only defensive player among the seven. We don't know the player rating of Watt for Madden 26 but last season he landed with a 97.

Inside the Courtland Sutton deal

The Broncos have been securing their key players to long-term contracts. One such player to get a new deal was receiver Courtland Sutton. Due to make $14 million in 2025, Sutton recently signed a four-year, $92 million extension. That's a new-money average of $23 million per year. Here's the full breakdown of the contract, per a source with knowledge of the terms: 1. Signing bonus: $18.5 million. 2. 2025 base salary: $4 million, fully guaranteed. 3. 2026 option bonus: $12 million, fully guaranteed. 4. 2026 base salary: $4.735 million, fully guaranteed. 5. 2026 per-game roster bonus: $765,000 total, fully guaranteed but must be earned. 6. 2027 base salary: $19.235 million, $1 million of which is guaranteed for injury and becomes fully guaranteed on the fifth day of the 2027 league year. 8. 2027 per-game roster bonus: $765,000 total. 9. 2028 base salary: $20.735 million. 10. 2028 per-game roster bonus: $765,000 total. 11. 2029 base salary: $23.375 million. 12. 2029 per-game roster bonus: $765,000 total. The deal has $40 million fully guaranteed at signing. The other $1 million in injury guarantees vests in 2027. It's clearly a second-tier deal. Good but not among the highest-paid of all receivers. With Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase now north of $40 million, Sutton is at $23 million in new-money APY. From signing, the five-year deal has an annual average of $21.2 million.

9-1-1′s Oliver Stark Fuels Rumors of a Crossover With Spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville

Is Evan Buckley paying a visit to Music City this fall? A recent Instagram story posted by Oliver Stark has convinced fans of the first-responder franchise that a crossover between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville is imminent. '6 Nashville Miles for breakfast,' Stark posted over the weekend on a video of himself running along the city streets, adding a smirking devil emoji for good measure. ABC Moves Up Premiere Date for 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey's Anatomy Could Stark have simply been enjoying a weekend getaway to the country music capital of the world? Sure, Jan. But it's far more likely (not to mention way more fun) to speculate that a crossover is in the works. 9-1-1 only staged one full-blown crossover event with 9-1-1: Lone Star during its five-season run on Fox. The February 2021 episode included an iconic exchange between Buck and Lone Star's T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein), who made it clear to Buck that he already had a boyfriend. And just think, that was three full years before Buck came out as bisexual! A second crossover aired in 2022, but it was only by way of a FaceTime call between 9-1-1′s Athena (Angela Bassett) and Lone Star's Carlos (Rafael L. Silva) and Grace (Sierra McClain). Led by Chris O'Donnell, 9-1-1: Nashville's series-regular roster includes Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey. Regardless of whether Buck ends up sharing the screen with any of the Nashville crew, we do know that the two shows will be sharing a night on ABC's fall schedule. New episodes of 9-1-1 air Thursdays at 8/7c, followed by new episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville, beginning Oct. 9. Are you hoping for a meeting of the 9-1-1's this fall?
