Dor Turgeman 'wants' Rangers move as Igamane and Dessers transfers to clear final hurdle with fee revealed
In-demand Dor Turgeman has reportedly told Maccabi Tel Aviv he wants a move to Rangers this summer amid rising interest in the striker.
However, a deal is said to be on hold until after the Scottish Premiership side can offload either Cyriel Dessers or Hamza Igamane.
Record Sport first revealed the Maccabi Tel Aviv man is a target for the Light Blues as Russell Martin looks to strengthen ahead of a new era at Ibrox.
Rangers ' new American owners 49ers Enterprises have been long-term admirers of the 21-year-old having previously attempted to bring the frontman to Leeds United.
Reports in Israel had suggested that Maccabi had been aiming to keep their Israeli stars at the club with the transfer policy shifting amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
But One now claim that Turgeman has made his position over an exit clear with the Scottish Premiership named as his preferred destination.
It is said that both the player and club are now "waiting" on an official approach from Light Blues' chiefs - which is "expected" after one of the two strikers are sold.
Moroccan striker Igamane is reported to have agreed terms on a move away from Rangers to join Lille this summer, with a big-money sale on the cards for the new US owners at Ibrox.
The Glasgow giants have also been locked in talks over the sale of Cyriel Dessers with AEK and Feyenoord among the interested parties.
That cash injection is set to fund the move for Turgeman with the frontman looking increasingly likely to follow Max Aarons through the door in Glasgow.
Sport 5 claim that Nantes, Werder Bremen and AZ Alkmaar have also shown interest with a £4.2million asking price.
But it now appears that the Israel international is willing to wait on Rangers to make their move.
Earlier this month, Turgeman made it clear that he was hoping to leave the club and take the next step in Europe.
He said: "Right now I'm here (at Maccabi). Of course everyone wants to fulfil their dream in Europe and we'll see what happens. I'm ready to take on the next challenge."

'The connections boys have made is massive and there are lots of happy faces in the dressing room right now. 'It was definitely special [to have my family here] – they're the reason I'm here. They've supported me throughout as a young one and as a professional. 'For them to be here for my first one is massively important to me.'
