Fans appeared to be the happiest, as many could resonate with John Cena's love for the K-pop band. One wrote, 'And ARMY loves John Cena," while another added, 'Who would've thought the man I grew up watching throw invisible punches would one day be on my side of the fandom, vibing to BTS? From 'U Can't See Me' to 'I see you, ARMY' — John Cena really grew with us."
Another comment read, 'This man. Definitely, he is my favourite ARMY." Many were seen wishing to witness a meeting between John Cena and the BTS members, with some even demanding they join forces on the stage.
It is worth mentioning that John Cena appeared on Tuesday's Late Show with Stephen Colbert for the promotion of his film, Heads of State. This was just another moment showcasing Cena's strong love for the band. Recently, at the 2025 Fan Expo Dallas, the actor spoke about feeling a personal connection to BTS. While calling J-Hope 'my guy," Cena shared how the band's music on self-love has connected with him, especially during a difficult phase of his life.
JOHN CENA mentioned #JHOPE and #BTS
'They look so beautiful. What I love is people who look and act like they have it all, being open with their emotions, in telling other people to start practising self-love. And that hit me at a time in my life when I needed to practice some self-love. So we hit it off on a personal level, and since then we have connected. We have shot videos," he said at the time.
Needless to say, the video left BTS fans melting and gaga over the WWE star.

Ananya Panday to Cate Blanchett: Mermaid core is back in trend!

Summer might be ending, but beachy vibes are having a major moment. The mermaidcore aesthetic with seashell outfits, necklaces and hair accessories has taken over wardrobes this season. This aesthetic gives off major beach salt air vibes, and it is reminiscent of the past, going as far back as the 1930s, and now it has resurfaced with different accessories as well. Ananya Panday, Taylor Hill and Cate Blanchett in the mermaidcore aesthetic.(Photos: Instagram) Celebs including actors Ananya Panday, Cate Blanchett, singer Alicia Keys and model Taylor Hill are riding the wave — the most recent being Scarlett Johansson's delicate white moment at a movie premiere. Brands are taking note, too. Design house Chloe led the charge with seashell earrings from their SS25 collection. Designer Anikate Satam reflects, 'Mermaid or aquatic themes have been quite recurrent for the past few years, almost like a summer must-have season after season. Mermaid core's appeal lies in its escapism. A little flight of fancy from your mundane life. It's also deeply rooted in our nostalgia as millennials growing up watching reruns of The Little Mermaid during summer vacation." Dip a toe in The possibilities for incorporating fun aquatic elements like shells, starfish or jellyfish in day-to-day wear are endless. 'For accessories, choose simple fish-inspired earrings or seashell necklaces,' says stylist Isha Bhansali. For outfits, look for mermaid-style tapers, accented with ruffles that accentuate movement. These cuts, Isha notes, are flattering and complement Indian wear like lehengas well. Styled by the sea 'If you wish to add subtle nuances without going overboard, you can play with fabric. Lightweight materials like chiffon and silk mirror the gentle movement of waves and can be used for a variety of outfits,' designer Supria Munjal tells us. To really lean into the mermaid aesthetic, she suggests soft blues, lilacs, pearly whites, and seafoam greens. For something bolder, go full-out on the drama with sequins, satin and jewel tones.

Wimbledon 2025: Coco Gauff says criticism of Aryna Sabalenka's French Open comments went 'too far'

It didn't take long for Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka to patch up their relationship after this month's French Open final. Now as Wimbledon is about to start, Gauff is hoping everyone else can also forget what the top-ranked Sabalenka said in the wake of her loss to the American at Roland-Garros. A day after dancing together on Wimbledon's Centre Court in a TikTok video, the two tennis players faced more questions on Saturday about the aftermath of Sabalenka's comments right after the final, when she said her loss had more to do with her own mistakes than Gauff's performance. The Belarusian later wrote to apologize to Gauff and said her comments were 'unprofessional,' but not before she faced some major backlash from fans and pundits — especially in the United States. Gauff is trying to make sure the criticism stops. 'I'm not the person that will fuel hate in the world,' said Gauff, who opens her Wimbledon campaign against Dayana Yastremska on Tuesday. 'I think people were taking it too far. … It was just really targeting and saying a lot of things that I felt were not nice. I didn't want to fuel that more.' READ | Wimbledon 2025: It's all cool with Coco, says Sabalenka, after French Open heartache Sabalenka, who faces Carson Branstine on No. 1 Court on Monday, said she hopes the TikTok video shows that all is well between the two. 'We are good, we are friends,' the three-time major winner said. 'I hope the U.S. media can be easy on me right now.' Sabalenka reiterated that she never meant to offend Gauff. 'I was just completely upset with myself, and emotions got over me,' she said. 'I just completely lost it.' Gauff did acknowledge that she was initially tempted to hit back publicly at Sabalenka, who said the American 'won the match not because she played incredible; just because I made all of those mistakes from ... easy balls.' Gauff also said she was slightly surprised that it took a while for Sabalenka to reach out to apologize. But once that happened, the American was quick to bury any grudge. 'I preach love, I preach light,' Gauff said. 'I just want us to be Kumbaya, live happily, hakuna matata, and be happy here.' Other players were also pleased to see the top two women's players getting along again. 'That's the biggest thing, because they're the best players in the world. So those relationships you kind of need.' Then the American added with a laugh: 'But also it wouldn't be too bad if they were also back-and-forth. That'd kind of be cool if they kind of didn't like each other.'
