Amazon has almost 80% off celebrity perfume as Prime Week begins

Daily Mirror17 hours ago
The beloved fragrance is now significantly reduced in Amazon's Prime Day sale, which runs from July 8-11
Amazon shoppers are snapping up a 'gem of a fragrance' with an impressive 79% off in a limited-time deal. Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely would usually cost over £90 for a 200ml bottle - but has dropped down to £20.50 for Prime Week (July 8-11).
It opens up floral with notes of lavender, martini, bergamot, mandarin orange, and palisander rosewood. The heart carries on the floral feel with patchouli, orchid and narcissus before its melds into a woody base of cedar, white amber and musk.
The scent was crafted by perfumers Clement Gavarry and Laurent Le Guernec, who have a huge range of successful scents under their belt. Gavarry is behind Kayali's Eden Juicy Apple (£73 for 50ml) and Phlur's Vanilla Skin (£99 for 50ml) while Le Guernec worked on a number of Bond No 9 scents, which regularly retail at upwards of £275 a bottle, and Estée Lauder's Beautiful Magnolia (which usually costs £87 for 100ml).
Lovely has pulled in an average of 4.6 out of 5 from across 2,957 global ratings. One shopper said: "I wear this perfume every day for work and have had a lot of people ask what it is as it smells so nice. Good value for money."
Another has sworn by it for almost two decades, writing: "An absolute gem of a fragrance! I wear as my work perfume and also everyday fragrance. It's light and flowery but not overpowering which is ideal when working in the NHS. People comment in this all the time, and because it is EDP it lasts all day! I have been buying this for 17+ years and it never fails to make me feel fab!"

Product Description
One shopper complained about the longevity of the scent, claiming it doesn't last the day. They wrote: "This perfume smells quite nice when you spray it, but the scent disappears really quickly, within an hour, and I have a very good sense of smell. It's very disappointing, especially after reading the reviews. I know this is an inexpensive perfume, but I'd still expect to be able to smell it on me for longer, especially as some of the reviews said the fragrance lasted all day. For me, this was certainly not true."
It is worth keeping in mind that the application of a perfume can impact the longevity of the scent. It's best to apply perfume to clean and freshly moisturised skin, with at least one spritz per pulse point. It's also advised to not rub the wrists together as this can disturb the scent.
Other shoppers insist that it has a great longevity, with one penning: "Amazing fragrance! It lasts a good number of hours and doesn't wear off quickly. If you love a good floral scent, this is for you!"
Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker is available for £20.50 now on Amazon.

Color Wow's Dream Coat spray transformed my frizzy hair – and it's been slashed by 41% for Amazon Prime Day

AMAZON'S Prime Day sale is in full swing, and there are some incredible deals dropping across beauty bestsellers. Color Wow's viral Dream Coat Supernatural Spray is a favourite in my routine, and it's been slashed by a huge 41% for the shopping extravaganza. The multi-functional haircare buy would usually set shoppers back £27, but it's currently down to £16 in the Amazon Prime Day sale. I swear by Dream Coat for achieving the perfect blow dry, as it tames my frizz while giving an ultra-glossy finish to my hair. Amazon shoppers clearly agree, as the trending product has racked up over 7,000 five-star ratings online. The spray is activated by heat, working to fight humidity and frizz to give the hair a sleek finish. It has a waterproof formula, so the results can last up to four shampoos, and I usually reach for mine once a week. Color Wow's Dream Coat Spray is also a favourite among celebrities, as Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Ariana Grande are all said to be fans. The beauty favourite is suitable for all hair types, but it need to be activated by blow dying or straightening to achieve the full results. I apply a generous amount of the spray to my hair after washing, before going in with my air styler (you can read my full review of the Dyson Airwrap I.D). It's become an essential in my routine for minimising frizz and adding shine, and the fact that it also contains heat-protectant is an added bonus. Amazon shoppers have raved about the hair product on the retailer's website. One reviewer wrote: "This product is a miracle for smoother and shinier hair. The price is worth it, especially as you only need to use it every three washes. Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, £16 (was £27) BUY HERE My hair is oily so I have to be careful with products that could make it greasier, but this isn't one of them." Another added: "My hair has become very dry, dull and frizzy over the last few years and I have tried everything to fix it. I used it for the first time and I wasn't impressed with the results at first, but my husband did comment on how shiny my hair looked. I woke up this morning and my hair is so soft, smooth, shiny and incredibly frizz free with no heaviness, greasiness or crunchiness. I brushed my hair once and it didn't need anything else all day. I used it with a hair dryer under tension, very slight tension, and this seemed to be the key to success." The Amazon Prime Day sale is running 8th-11th July, with new deals dropping daily. It's unclear if the Color Wow spray will maintain it's 41% discount throughout the event, and I'll be stocking up on mine (and other beauty deals) before the price increases.

Fallout: New Vegas 2 teased amongst ‘multiple' new Fallout games

New rumours suggest that Bethesda and others are working on a range of new Fallout titles, including a potential remaster of Fallout 3. Somewhat surprisingly, Amazon's Fallout is the most successful live action adaptation of a video game ever, even more so than The Last Of Us. It had a huge effect on sales of the existing games but there hasn't been a new one since online spin-off Fallout 76 in 2018, and it's been a full decade since Fallout 4. Bethesda has barely even hinted at a new entry and with work going slowly on The Elder Scrolls 6 it's not going to be until the next decade before we see Fallout 5. Spin-offs and remasters are the obvious answer to that problem but so far there's been none of those either, just the fan-made Fallout: London. But according to new rumours they are on the way, including a possible sequel to fan favourite Fallout: New Vegas. The obvious assumption is that Bethesda quickly put a bunch of new titles into production, once the Amazon show became a surprise hit. Speaking on the podcast Friends Per Second, VGC's Jordan Middler suggested that there were 'multiple' Fallout games currently in development, but didn't mention any by name and implied that none of them were close to release. The only time he got close to being specific was when he alluded to 'one that I'm sure you're all wanting', which we would've interpreted as a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. However, he then followed that up with a quip, saying: 'Anyway, New Vegas 2, coming soon.' It's unclear to what degree this is a joke, since the 'coming soon' aspect is obviously not true. But the whole comment may not have been meant seriously. Fallout: New Vegas was made, not by Bethesda, but by Avowed developer Obsidian Entertainment. Despite being many fans' favourite in the series it's rarely acknowledged by Bethesda and many suspect they're secretly jealous that it gets more love than Fallout 3 and 4. As it happens though, Microsoft now owns both Bethesda and Obsidian, so can make them do whatever they want. But despite Obsidian admitting they'd like to do a remaster nothing has ever been announced or seemed to be in development – not least because Obsidian has so much on its plate at the moment, including this year's The Outer Worlds 2. More Trending There's been even less talk of a New Vegas 2, although there was a suggestion of Obsidian being in 'early talks' for it in 2022 and then a reference to it in the code of the Fallout 4 next gen update in 2023. A Fallout 3 remaster has been rumoured for some time, but it's never been officially announced and the last time we heard about it, it was said to be in trouble. Although the success of Oblivion will no doubt have made it more of a priority. As for Fallout 5, Middler speculates that by the time The Elder Scrolls 6 is out, which is imagined to be sometime around 2028, director Todd Howard will be old enough that he might not want to spend the best part of the next decade making Fallout 5. That's by no means guaranteed but his unwillingness to let anyone else make a mainline entry would explain why everything is taking so long.
