FanDuel Promo Code For USMNT-Mexico, MLB, Wimbledon
As mentioned above, you must win your initial $5 bet to secure the $150 in bonus bets with a new account. With this in mind, you should look at a wide variety of markets before placing that bet. Find one that you feel is likely to settle as a win.
If you plan to bet on one of the MLB games, you might want to look at some prop bet opportunities. Predicting the winner of a single MLB game is hard, so it could be wise to avoid putting your $5 on a moneyline wager. Instead, you might want to bet on a pitcher like Max Fried to strike out a certain number of batters. Or you could bet on a player like Juan Soto to record a hit or reach a certain number of total bases.
Emphasize the likelihood of your bet settling as a win, rather than the odds and potential payout.
Once you find a wager you are comfortable making, wait for your bet to settle to see if you win the $150 in bonus bets. If you do win, these bonuses will be valid to use for the next week.

Wimbledon: Fritz, Khachanov and Norrie reach the quarterfinals. No. 1 Sabalenka wins, too
LONDON (AP) — U.S. Open runner-up Taylor Fritz moved into the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the third time in four years on Sunday, advancing when his injured opponent, Jordan Thompson, quit while trailing 6-1, 3-0 after 41 minutes. The unseeded Thompson's movement and power clearly were compromised. The Australian entered the match with back and leg issues and left the court for a medical timeout in the second set, then stopped after trying to play for three more points. 'Just got significantly worse today,' said Thompson, who was competing in singles and doubles at Wimbledon. 'Just played a lot of tennis on a body that shouldn't have been, and it just took its toll.' For the No. 5-seeded Fritz , it was a shorter workday after playing a pair of five-setters and one four-setter earlier in the tournament. 'It's obviously not the way that I want to go through,' Fritz said. 'It's just sad. ... Respect to him for coming out. His body's not right.' Now the American will meet No. 17 seed Karen Khachanov of Russia on Tuesday for a berth in the semifinals — a round neither has reached at the All England Club. Khachanov has been a Grand Slam semifinalist twice, at the U.S. Open in 2022 and the Australian Open in 2023. Fritz made it that far at a major for the first time when he got to the final at Flushing Meadows in September before losing to No. 1 Jannik Sinner. Khachanov beat Kamil Majchrzak 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 Sunday and is 2-0 against Fritz, although their most recent meeting was in 2020. 'We practice all the time, so we're pretty familiar with each other's games,' Fritz said. 'But I think I improved a ton and have become a much, much better player since the last time we played.' What else happened at Wimbledon on Sunday? No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka reached the quarterfinals at her 11th consecutive Grand Slam tournament, defeating No. 24 Elise Mertens 6-4, 7-6 (4), and will play unseeded Laura Siegemund , the 37-year-old German who followed up her elimination of Australian Open champ Madison Keys by beating lucky loser Solana Sierra 6-3, 6-2. When Siegemund's age was mentioned during an on-court interview, the crowd applauded, and she joked: 'It's not that often you get such a compliment for being old.' Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova overcame a missed call late in the first set when the electronic system that replaced line judges at Wimbledon this year was shut off but ended up beating Sonay Kartal 7-6 (3), 6-4 to return to the grass-court major's quarterfinals for the first time in nine years. Pavlyuchenkova's opponent Tuesday will be No. 13 Amanda Anisimova or No. 30 Linda Noskova. In men's action, the last British singles player, 2022 semifinalist Cam Norrie, advanced with a 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (7), 6-7 (5), 6-3 win over qualifier Nicolas Jarry of Chile. The 61st-ranked Norrie, who played college tennis at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, will go up against two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or No. 14 Andrey Rublev for a spot in the final four. Who plays at the All England Club on Monday? The quarterfinals will be set after Monday's play, which leads off at Centre Court with 24-time major champion Novak Djokovic against No. 11 Alex de Minaur at 1:30 p.m. local time (8:30 a.m. ET). They were supposed to face each other in last year's quarterfinals at Wimbledon, but de Minaur was forced to withdraw before the match with a hip injury. That's to be followed by No. 7 Mirra Andreeva vs. No. 10 Emma Navarro , who eliminated 2024 champion Barbora Krejcikova in the third round, and then No. 1 Jannik Sinner vs. No. 19 Grigor Dimitrov. Others in action: Iga Swiatek, Ben Shelton and Marin Cilic. ___ More AP tennis:

Bessent Says He Expects Trade Deals by This Week's Deadline
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Sunday that he was confident the Trump administration would be able to reach deals with some countries before the deadline on Tuesday for steep tariffs would take effect. But he also held out the possibility that the deadline could be extended to Aug. 1 for countries seeking to reach deals. 'There's a lot of foot dragging on the other side, and so I would expect to see several big announcements over the next couple of days,' Mr. Bessent said on CNN's 'State of the Union.' He added, 'We're going to be very busy over the next 72 hours.' In addition, Mr. Bessent said that the administration would begin informing countries about the tariff rates they could face if they did not quickly reach trade agreements with the United States. 'President Trump's going to be sending letters to some of our trading partners, saying that, if you don't move things along, then, on Aug. 1, you will boomerang back to your April 2 tariff level,' Mr. Bessent said. 'So I think we're going to see a lot of deals very quickly.' Mr. Bessent's comments came just three days before a 90-day pause on Mr. Trump's steepest levies is set to expire. Mr. Trump first mentioned the possible Aug. 1 extension in comments to reporters on Air Force One on Friday night. 'It's not a new deadline,' Mr. Bessent said Sunday. 'We are saying this is when it's happening. If you want to speed things up, have at it. If you want to go back to the old rate, that's your choice.' Mr. Trump announced his so-called reciprocal tariffs, in early April, only to suspend them shortly after, when the threat of the steep duties roiled global financial markets. So far, the United States has reached preliminary trade deals with Vietnam and the United Kingdom, far from Trump's goal of 90 deals in 90 days. Mr. Bessent said he was confident that the administration would be able to reach deals within the next few days once the letters were sent out. 'We have the leverage in this situation,' he said.

How does CNET select the best Prime Day appliance deals? Our team of expert shoppers and deal hunters has spent years helping buyers understand which major sales and deals are legitimately good and which are more routine. That includes Black Friday, Prime Day, Memorial Day and countless other shopping events. We've become very good at weeding out scams and superficial deals on appliances of every kind, so you see only the best offers. At CNET, we look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time when choosing a deal to show you. Real discounts mean exactly that. We look at the price history for that product to make sure no manufacturers are inflating prices to make the discount seem more substantial than it is. Quality reviews are important for any product, but especially for deeply discounted items. An appliance is a big investment, and if you don't get enough mileage out of it, the discount isn't really worthwhile. Remaining sale time is a huge part of our vetting process. If a deal seems like it'll be around for only a short while or will be available only for remaining stock, we'll let you know upfront so you don't come back to the deal later only to be disappointed. How to keep up with the best Prime Day sales There are a lot of ways to ensure you're getting the latest scoop on Prime Day deals.
