Inside Graham Norton's $8.6m New York City home
The Irish comedian's brick house in Manhattan traces its history back to horse stables constructed during the Civil War and, in more recent history, the supermodel Claudia Schiffer, the New York Times reported.
The unique home features jewel box details and an address along one of New York City's precious few mews.
Norton purchased the home, located along Murray Hill's Sniffen Court, in 2002, the New York Post reports.
'Once you step into Sniffen Court there is no sense that you are in the heart of Manhattan,' Norton told the Times.

Gene Simmons' bizarre $22m demand
The home, which Norton bought off of Claudia Schiffer, long served as his pied-à-terre in the Big Apple, he told the outlet.
The quaint private alleyway, he said, reminded the 'Graham Norton Show' host of London.
Norton's residence is one of 10 distinct carriage homes in the Sniffen Court Historic District.
The street was initially a collection of horse stables constructed between 1863 and 1864 by John Sniffen.
These alleyways, called mews, were vital to pre-industrial life in New York City.
The broadcaster's pad is located smack dab in the middle of Sniffen Court. The home measures about 20 feet across and spans roughly 2,500 square feet across three floors, plus a 465-square-foot rooftop deck.
'There have been lots of parties, big and small, over the years,' Norton told the Times.
According to the listing, the house boasts floor-to-ceiling bookshelves lining the library nearby, and the formal dining room pops with red-lacquered walls.
A curving banister leads to the second-floor guest room, topped off by the primary suite on the third floor.
The primary includes a separate sitting room, an ensuite bath with a tub, a kitchenette and access to the sun-drenched rooftop deck.

Norton recently renovated and restored the home with the help of Gachot Studio, with upgrades including central airconditioning, window treatments and custom lighting.
Norton told the Times that he once considered retiring to the Big Apple, but the London-based entertainer recently put down even more roots across the pond when he married Scottish filmmaker Jono McLeod in 2022.
Norton's home isn't the only Sniffen Court address with a celebrity past. Musician Lenny Kravitz and composer Cole Porter have also resided along the private street.
Previous residential mews remain in the city, making listings at Sniffen Court, as well as Greenwich Mews in the West Village and Sylvan Terrace in Washington Heights, a true real estate treat.

Jennifer Aniston's upcoming AppleTV+ series embroiled in drama as director drops out
Jennifer Aniston's buzzy new TV series is reportedly in a shambles. Production on the Apple TV+ adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died, was thrust into chaos after Oscar winning director Jason Reitman pulled out at the eleventh hour, leaving producers scrambling to find an urgent replacement. Puck reports the Juno filmmaker was creating the pilot of the 10-part series, which is being co-produced by Australian actress Margot Robbie's company LuckyChap Entertainment. While Reitman was never officially announced on the project, the outlet reports he ultimately bowed out after several weeks of development following clashes with McCurdy, who is a showrunner and executive producer on the show. The former Nickelodeon star released her best-selling book in 2022, which detailed her turbulent upbringing with her overbearing mother, who was eager to push McCurdy into the spotlight. The official log line for the upcoming series describes it as a 'heartbreaking and hilarious recounting of Jennette McCurdy's struggles as a former child actor while dealing with her overbearing, domineering mother. The dramedy will centre on the co-dependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kids' show, and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity as 'a starlet's mother.'' Aniston, 56, has been cast as McCurdy's mother, Debra. She is the only name to be announced. The Friends actress is also a co-producer via her company Echo Films. Puck further reports Reitman, along with showrunner Ari Katcher, wanted a more comedic tone than McCurdy envisioned. Relations reportedly 'culminated in a casting call marred by a tense (one source called it 'disrespectful' to Reitman) exchange between the two', before Reitman officially left the project. Executives at Apple TV+ have given producers a maximum of two weeks to lock in a new director with a similar pedigree to Reitman, or the project could be on halt indefinitely. McCurdy's mother died in 2013 at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer. The actress, who shot to fame playing Sam Puckett on iCarly in 2007, later detailed her toxic relationship being controlled by her mother, and her tumultuous time working for the children's network, revealing she suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders and anxiety. I'm Glad My Mom Died quickly shot to the top of the New York Times ' best seller list. 'I've been so touched by how much the emotional thrust of the story has connected with people, which I see as being my relationship with my mom,' McCurdy said at the time of the feat. 'That's an important and complicated relational dynamic to explore, and to see that people are responding to it has been amazing. 'And to see people responding to the humour of it and the aspect of exploring eating disorders and complicated grief, it's really been incredible.'

Reality star names ‘best' famous lover amid slew of Hollywood hook-ups
Reality star Scheana Shay name-dropped her 'best' celebrity lover in her slew of Hollywood hook-ups. The Vanderpump Rules star didn't hold back on the latest episode of the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat while discussing her July memoir, My Good Side. When the 40-year-old reality star addressed the book's bombshell list of romantic liaisons on the podcast, host Amanda Hirsch asked, 'Who was, like, the best hook-up?' Shay replied, 'Shemar [Moore].' The other men the Bravolebrity confessed to sleeping with, notably, included John Mayer, Jesse Metcalfe, Jesse McCartney, Eddie Cibrian, JC Chasez and more. Shay did not identify the other A-listers she 'left out' of the list, including 'two actors from The Notebook. ' Hirsch pointed out that Ryan Gosling stars in that 2004 movie, with Shay cryptically saying she was 'not confirming or denying.' Gosling has been in a relationship with his Place Beyond the Pines co-star Eva Mendes since 2011, previously dating Sandra Bullock, Blake Lively and Rachel McAdams. The film's other cast members include James Marsden and Kevin Connolly. Shay joked, 'Maybe there's another book one day.' Reps for Moore, Gosling, Marsden and Connolly did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment. Shay explained to readers that when hooking up with a slew of Hollywood hunks wasn't 'working out,' she started dating guys 'under the radar.' She noted, 'It [was] time to switch things up. … I didn't want any of the fanfare or complications that came with being linked to someone famous. I wanted to be with someone who was grounded.' Shay has since been married twice — first to music producer Michael Shay from 2014 to 2017 and, most recently, to personal trainer Brock Davies. The latter cheated on Shay before they tied the knot, but Davies did not cop to the affair — which happened during his partner's pregnancy — until after their 2022 Mexico wedding. Shay kept the betrayal a secret until describing the experience in her memoir. She denied 'wild' speculation on Tuesday that the infidelity was revealed 'to sell books,' something Kristen Doute hinted at in last week's episode of the same podcast by asking, 'You and your husband got over this years ago. Why now?' Shay brushed off the accusations, asking haters, 'Who in their right mind would [do] that?' As for Davies, he broke his silence on the 'sexual affair' on the Scheananigans With Scheana Shay podcast last month and called his past self a 'coward.'

Christie Brinkley, 71, and daughter Sailor, 27, matched with the same men on dating app
Supermodel Christie Brinkley and her look-alike youngest daughter attract the same men despite their 44-year age difference. Brinkley, 71, revealed that her 27-year-old daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook once put her on dating app for an hour without her knowing — and to both their surprise, they had mutual matches. The titbit came out during Brinkley's discussion with Sex and the City star Kristin Davis on the 'Are You A Charlotte?' podcast. Davis noted that there was an 'extreme dichotomy' between men and women over 50 when it comes to dating, sharing that the men won't date women their own age, even though the women are beautiful and accomplished. In response, Brinkley — who's currently not on any dating apps — shared the result of Sailor's 'mischievous' experiment on the unnamed platform. 'She wanted to see what kind of guys [would match] … and she put me up there … and she said, 'Mum, you're right not to go on it, because the same guys that said yes to me, are saying yes to you',' Brinkley said. Davis reacted with shock and delight. 'Wow!' she responded in disbelief. 'Smart Sailor, that is a really fascinating little experiment.' Brinkley is a mum to three children: Alexa, 39, whom she shares with ex-husband Billy Joel; son Jack, 30, whom she shares with ex-husband Richard Taubman; and daughter Sailor, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Cook. The iconic model has been married four times — Francois Allaux from 1973 to 1981, Joel from 1985 to 1994, Taubman from 1994 to 1995 and Cook from 1996 to 2008. In her recent memoir Uptown Girl, Brinkley recalled feeling devastated after finding out Cook had been unfaithful. She recalled the moment when a Hamptons police officer told her that her 'arrogant husband' was having an affair with his teenage daughter. 'When your whole world falls apart and you realise in a heartbeat you've suddenly become the cliche middle-aged woman whose husband is having an affair with a much (much) younger woman, what do you do?' the actress wrote in her book, which was released on April 29. Brinkley and Cook, 57, split after 10 years of marriage following the affair.
