Michigan Wolverines, Sherrone Moore Suffer Major Recruiting Loss
The Michigan Wolverines and head coach Sherrone Moore are hopeful to take a big leap in the right direction during the upcoming 2025 college football season.

After finishing the 2024 campaign with an 8-5 record, including beating the eventual champion Ohio State Buckeyes in the final game of the regular season, the program appears to be back on track.
Moore has done an excellent job of replacing Jim Harbaugh. He has continued recruiting well and has the Wolverines heading in the right direction.
Unfortunately, Michigan suffered some bad recruiting news on Saturday.
According to a report from college football insider Hayes Fawcett of Rivals, the Wolverines have lost the commitment of 2026 four-star cornerback Brody Jennings. He has reportedly flipped his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes.

"BREAKING: Four-Star CB Brody Jennings has flipped his commitment from Michigan to Miami, he tells me for @rivals," Fawcett wrote. "The 6'1 180 CB from Jacksonville, FL had been committed to the Wolverines since July 2024."
According to Rivals, Jennings is the No. 29 ranked cornerback in the 2026 recruiting class. He is also the No. 294 ranked player in the nation and the No. 41 ranked player in the state of Florida.

Currently, Michigan holds the No. 9 ranked recruiting class in 2026. Moore has received commitments from quite a few top-tier players, although there is more work to be done.
Losing out on Jennings is a tough break for the Wolverines. He has legitimate star potential at the college level. Unfortunately, it's a setback, but it's a setback that Michigan can bounce back from quickly.

Machado now has 950 total hits with the Padres, who he signed with as a free agent in 2019. That has him in fifth on the franchise's all-time hits list. Machado first made his debut in the league with the Baltimore Orioles in 2012, and he had 997 hits there before he landed with the Los Angeles Dodgers seven seasons later. He entered Tuesday with 2,357 career hits — though he's nearly 2,000 short of all-time leader Pete Rose.
