ED Sheeran marked one of his "favourite moments ever on stage" as he teamed up with his old band and a top Noughties fan-favourite.
The A Team hitmaker, 34, took to Instagram to reveal the surprise collaboration as he gushed "what a night."

Chart star Ed teamed up with his old high school band and Wheatus frontman Brendan B Brown to perform a sizzling version of the American band's biggest hit for fans.
In a sweet video, Ed showcased his childhood band, which he was part of aged 12.
He said: "We used to cover Teenage Dirtbag and we re-formed after 20 years for our mates wedding.
"Then I was like wouldn't it be cool to do at a big gig.
"So I emailed Brendan and here we are."
The clip showed the bunch rehearsing in an empty stadium before they were met with huge cheers later on.
In his video caption, Ed wrote: "One of my fav moments ever on stage, thank you Brendan. What a night x"
Wheatus' official Instagram page then replied and put: "BEST DAY EVER!!!!"
One fan then gushed: "This was the coolest guest act on stage ever!"
Another posted: "No flipping way?!"

One then confessed: "I didn't even know I needed this until this moment. So good."
FORWARD PLANNING
While Ed is clearly enjoying living in the present, The Sun reported in May how he was planning records to be released for his death.
The Shape Of You singer said he has been gathering songs made throughout his life for a record called Eject.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on TV in the US, Ed said: 'I want to make an album for all of my life that comes out the day I die called Eject.
"I am not joking.
'Imagine when Paul McCartney passes there's a record with a song he made at 16, a song at 20, at 30. Fascinating.'
Ed joked: 'People will be like, 'Still beyond the grave he f***s with us."

Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar are also performing in the city today, with Police Scotland "aiming to minimise disruption". Cops also stated that a "proportionate and considered policing plan" is currently in place during the gigs. Superintendent Paul Douglas said: "We are aware of a number of events and concerts due to take place in the Greater Glasgow area in the week beginning Monday July 7 2025. "A proportionate and considered policing plan is in place within the city and we are working with a number of stakeholders to ensure the safety of all those attending these events and where possible minimise disruption to the people of Glasgow." 'Unfortunately, this means I'll have to take the rest of the year off from playing with the band. 'The silver lining is that I'm on track for a full recovery. The band will still be playing all scheduled shows. 'I'm looking forward to recovering so I can get back out there with the guys. Thanks so much for the love and support.' The band is playing in Calgary, Canada tonight and have festival dates in Japan and Brazil over the summer. Fans sent their well wishes, with one writing, "It's okay Joe, we love you and I hope everything goes well, take all the time you need." Another said, "I just fell to my knees in Walmart. Wishing you luck Joe." In 2023, Trohman took several months off the road to focus on his mental health. His guitar tech Ben Young stepped in on that occasion. Speaking at the time, Trohman said, "Neil Young once howled that it's better to burn out than to fade away. But I can tell you unequivocally that burning out is dreadful. Without divulging all the details, I must disclose that my mental health has rapidly deteriorated over the past several years. 'So, to avoid fading away and never returning, I will be taking a break from work which regrettably includes stepping away from Fall Out Boy for a spell. It pains me to make this decision, especially when we are releasing a new album that fills me with great pride (the sin I'm most proud of).' They skyrocketed to worldwide fame in 2005 after the release of the album From Under the Cork Tree, with its lead single Sugar We're Goin' Down reaching number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. In 2006, the band was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. A year later, their third album, Infinity On High, topped the Billboard 200. The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2009, citing exhaustion as the key reason. "We were being pushed too hard, we were working too often, and I think we had no grounding. There was no, 'This is where I live, this is my family, this is my house, here's where I get mental health assistance, I take my medication this many times a day,'" Trohman shared in an interview with Kerrang. "None of that stuff was happening, it was all just go go go, different places, different things, if you have to succeed you've gotta do this. "And it got to a point where — I can only speak for myself here — but I thought, 'I think we've succeeded… can we stop for a minute? I need to go to my house.'" They reunited in 2013 with the release of the album Save Rock and Roll.

Gregg Wallace sacked as MasterChef presenter, says BBC News
The 60-year-old had stepped away from hosting the BBC cooking competition last year after a number of historical complaints came to light. There have been fresh claims about the TV presenter from 50 more people to the corporation including allegations he groped one MasterChef worker and pulled his trousers down in front of another, BBC News said. A university student has claimed he reached under her skirt and pinched her bottom in a nightclub, and a junior worker alleged he dropped his trousers in front of her while he was not wearing any underwear. Gregg Wallace co-presented MasterChef until last year (Ian West/PA) Production firm Banijay previously said Wallace is 'committed to fully co-operating' with the external review while his lawyers have previously strongly denied 'he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature', according to BBC News. Some of the more recent claims include a MasterChef worker who said she tried to complain about comments she alleged he made about her body in 2022, and a former policeman who said he tried to raise concerns after he allegedly witnessed Wallace making inappropriate sexual comments at a charity event in 2023. BBC News reported the majority of the 50 people had said he made inappropriate sexual comments, with 11 women accusing him of inappropriate sexual behaviour, such as groping and touching. BBC News also said it has not seen the final Banijay report but it is understood the presenter has been sacked. Earlier on Tuesday, the former greengrocer claimed he had been cleared of the 'most serious and sensational accusations' against him ahead of the report examining his alleged misconduct. In a statement posted on his Instagram account, he said: 'I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience. I was tried by media and hung out to dry well before the facts were established. 'The full story of this incredible injustice must be told and it is very much a matter of public interest.' He also said he recognises that some of his humour and language was inappropriate 'at times' and apologised for this. Wallace started out as a greengrocer before he shot to fame fronting BBC shows including Inside The Factory, Supermarket Secrets, as well as MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and MasterChef: The Professionals. The most recent series of MasterChef: The Professionals continued to air last year amid allegations against Wallace, but two MasterChef celebrity Christmas specials were pulled from the BBC's schedule in December 2024. At the time, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said she would look to impose new standards in the creative industry amid the allegations. A BBC spokesperson said: 'Banijay UK instructed the law firm Lewis Silkin to run an investigation into allegations against Gregg Wallace. 'We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings are published.' Banijay UK declined to comment on Wallace's comments.
