Michelle Beadle fired from SiriusXM after Stephen A. Smith drama
SiriusXM officially parted ways with Beadle and Cody Decker of the 'Beadle and Decker' radio show on Thursday, according to The Athletic on Thursday.
'And we'd like to thank the callers who made the last couple of days an absolute blast!!' Beadle posted on X, confirming the news. 'Truly. You don't usually get such love on your way out. Security usually walks ya to the door. You guys rule. 6 hours of how you felt. And you all were heard! Drinks on me…@Decker6

The network's decision comes just days after it decided to replace Beadle and Decker's time slot with a show hosted by longtime ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith, a move Beadle felt 'blindsided' by.
During the show Wednesday, Beadle did not hold back when she opened the segment by acknowledging the network's move.

'Welcome to the 'Lame Duck and Who Knew?' show here,' Beadle said as Decker yelled 'fired' in the background. 'All I ask is to be treated with respect,' Beadle continued. 'Here we are, we're going to do our shows because we're contractually obligated to be here.'
Despite remaining mostly cordial during her show, Beadle was a lot more blunt with her thoughts when speaking to Front Office Sports.
'It's a reminder: We're just all pieces of s–t to someone. If you forgot, there it is,' Beadle said during an interview on Wednesday.

''The Hollywood Reporter' comes out — and there's his face. I was like, 'I should have known.' That was just kind of gross. I don't care that we're being replaced or what have you. It happens all the time. But a little respect would have been nice. Good Lord. I was totally blindsided. Just really embarrassed, to be honest.'
Beadle, who left ESPN in 2019, then took some shots at Smith, saying that she had problems with the show 'First Take' for years.
'I don't respect his work. He doesn't like me,' she said. 'This goes back to the Ray Rice stuff. He made some really piggish comments on the air. I responded; he got suspended for like two weeks. I think that was sort of the beginning of the end for anything,' she said.
'I just don't respect him. I think he gets things wrong all the time. I'm not talking about opinions; those can never be wrong. But factually, when you spread yourself so thin, it's hard to be right. Not a fan.'

Brian Daboll, Giants' coaching staff disrespected in ESPN ranking
It's no secret that the 2025 NFL season is something of a 'make or break' year for New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll. Once a rising star as the offensive coordinator for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, the Giants hired Daboll as head coach and saw some success right away. He guided New York to a 9-7 record, a return to the playoffs, and got quarterback Daniel Jones to look the best he ever has. Since then, it's been all downhill for Daboll and the Giants, winning just nine total games across two seasons while Daniel Jones is now the likely backup quarterback in Indianapolis. As the NFL is a 'what have you done for me lately' league, it should come as no surprise that Daboll and his coaching staff fared poorly in a recent ranking of NFL coaching staffs. Ben Solak, an analyst for ESPN, ranked each team's coaching staff heading into the 2025 NFL season and placed the New York Giants in dead last, a drop of 8 spots from last year. Regarding Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Solak writes, 'It's not much to hang a hat on, but if and when we see Jaxson Dart this season at quarterback, I expect the team to have some smart, easy ways to get him into a rhythm and involved in the running game. I can at least see the visions in New York, even if the plane often struggles to get off the ground.' Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen earned a slightly rosier assessment, at least. 'I have a warmer appreciation for Bowen, who is always willing to get creative with alignment and coverages to solve personnel problems on the back end. The 2024 Giants' defense was definitely poor, but they have overhauled the secondary and added to the pass rush this offseason, so I'm happy reserving a stronger judgment for Year 2.' As aforementioned, it should surprise no one that the Giants' coaching staff is ranked among the league's worst. What is rather surprising was seeing them rank at dead last, behind even some first-time head coaches with inexperienced staffs, like the Jacksonville Jaguars. To be fair, the Jaguars only ranked one spot higher than New York, but even that feels like a major disservice to Daboll's potential. At least Daboll has a playoff appearance to his name. Hopefully, the arm of Russell Wilson, who is the unquestioned starting QB in 2025, will guide New York to a strong 2025 season and we'll see a more positive evaluation in next year's rankings.

2-Time NBA Champion with Warriors signs deal to play in rising international league
It seems like the Golden State Warriors' dynastic run from 2015-2019 was a long time ago. With Kevon Looney leaving in free agency and Klay Thompson leaving last year, there are only two OG Warriors left from that magical time. Some players, like Kevin Durant and Klay, are now playing for rival Western Conference teams. Others like Andrew Bogut, Leandro Barbosa, and Shaun Livingston are long retired. One Warriors champion is still playing, but has left the NBA to play overseas. JaVale McGee, who played two seasons with the Warriors, grabbing two championships as a key role player, is headed to Australia to play in the NBL. ESPN reported that McGee signed a one-year deal with the Illawarra Hawks of the NBL. McGee's last season in the NBA was during the 2023-24 season. He played 46 games for the Sacramento Kings. During that season, he only averaged 4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. It was clear that McGee's time in the NBA was close to an end. Now, McGee will try to make a big impact in an international league that is on the rise. Montrezl Harrell and Dylan Windler are the two most prominent former NBA players in the league. The NBL has recently been a pipeline for some NBA draft picks, but now it seems that it is becoming a spot for former NBA players to continue their basketball careers. Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp Warriors fans should be happy for JaVale. He was a great addition to the Warriors' championship teams, and while he might not have enough to still play in the NBA, the fact that he is still playing the game he loves is great news. ESPN ranks Broncos' under age 25 players last in the NFL
ESPN's Aaron Schatz recently ranked all 32 NFL teams based on their players under 25 years old, and the Denver Broncos came in last in the rankings. "The Broncos don't have as much talent under the age of 25 because so many of their players aged out of consideration for this list," Schatz wrote for ESPN. The team has zero "blue-chip players" under 25, at least in Schatz's estimation. Denver's list of players under 25 years old includes All-Pro receiver/returner Marvin Mims, rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron, running back RJ Harvey, pass rusher Jonah Elliss, defensive lineman Sai'vion Jones, running back Jaleel McLaughlin, receiver Pat Bryant, running back Audric Estime and linebacker Levelle Bailey. The players that are 25 years old and therefore ineligible include star cornerback Pat Surtain, quarterback Bo Nix, pass rusher Nik Bonitto, safety Talanoa Hufanga and cornerback Riley Moss. The team's players just over 25 include guard Quinn Meinerz (26) and running back J.K. Dobbins (26). Players like Surtain, Nix, Bonitto and Meinerz aging out of eligibility apparently made the team's ranking dip as the Broncos were ranked 26th last year.
