NEET UG 2025 Results Live : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to declare the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG) 2025 by June 14, as per the official examination calendar. Conducted earlier this year on May 4, the exam witnessed lakhs of medical aspirants vying for seats in undergraduate medical and dental programmes across the country.
While the exact time of the result announcement has not yet been disclosed, officials indicate that the release is imminent, aligning with the typical NTA pattern of result declaration within 10 days of closing the answer key challenge window.
Final answer key expected before result
The NTA published the provisional answer key and candidates' OMR response sheets on June 3, following which candidates were allowed to raise objections until June 5. Based on standard procedure, the agency generally takes 7 to 10 days to scrutinize the objections and finalize the answer key.
Accordingly, the final answer key is expected to be issued shortly, likely within the next 24 hours, paving the way for the declaration of results on the official portal neet.nta.nic.in.
What the NEET UG scorecard will contain
The NEET UG 2025 result will be released in the form of a digital scorecard, which candidates can download from the official website. It will include:
Subject-wise marks (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Total marks obtained and percentile
All India Rank (AIR)
Qualifying status
Category-wise and state-wise ranks (if applicable)
The merit list and category-specific cut-off scores will also be made available along with the result announcement.

What's next after the result?
Following the announcement of the results, medical counselling will begin. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling, while state authorities will conduct separate counselling rounds for seats under their jurisdiction.
The minimum qualifying percentile remains 50th percentile for unreserved candidates and 40th for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The actual cut-off marks, however, may vary depending on the overall performance of students this year.
The NEET UG examination serves as the sole gateway for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses in India. As such, this result remains one of the most significant milestones for medical aspirants across the country.
