The campaign is not over for Manchester United just yet as they face ASEAN All-Stars this afternoon in the first of two in the first post-season friendlies.
Man United signed off their Premier League season at the weekend with a 2-0 win at home to Aston Villa in a result that was enough for a 15th-placed finish by virtue of a superior goal difference to Wolves.

Though before the players can head off for international duty or recharge for an important 2025/26 campaign, they are in Asia for games against ASEAN All-Stars and then the Hong Kong national team on Friday.
A 32-man squad flew out on Sunday, including the likes of captain Bruno Fernandes, Joshua Zirkzee, Andre Onana, Amad Diallo, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnancho despite speculation surrounding his future.
Head coach Ruben Amorim has called on his side to put on a show for the club's Malaysian supporters.
He said: "First of all, every game we play, we have a big responsibility because all our fans are watching," said Amorim. "We want to respect all of this kindness, so we want to have a good performance."

Arne Slot reveals Luis Diaz left out of Liverpool friendly due to transfer speculation

Colombian winger Luis Diaz was left out of Liverpool's squad for their 4-2 friendly defeat to AC Milan in Hong Kong on Saturday and Arne Slot has confirmed it was due to uncertainty over his future at Liverpool. Both Diaz and fellow forward Darwin Nunez were left out of the Liverpool squad, with Diaz linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Nunez linked with the likes of Napoli and Al-Hilal. Nunez was left out due to an injury, but Diaz appears to be inching closer to the exit door. Arne Slot on Luis Diaz future, transfer speculation Speaking to reporters after the game, Arne Slot said the following when asked if Luis Diaz was left out of the squad due to transfer speculation. 'In Lucho's situation it was, yeah. There's a lot of rumors around him lately and I cannot go into that. He's training really well with us but we have decided for now not to play him yet,' Slot said. Slot was also asked if he has spoken to Diaz about the situation: 'Yeah, but I'm used to talking to most of my players on a regular basis. Like I said, Lucho is training really well and we've decided that he's not playing at the moment in the games. I cannot comment much more about that,' Slot added. He also confirmed that Nunez 'was injured so we didn't take the risk' and he hopes the Uruguayan will be available to play in Japan in their next friendly next week. Diaz appears to be heading out, as Liverpool strengthen their attack If Liverpool move on Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez this summer but end up with Alexander Isak (he could join) up top supported by Hugo Ekitike, Mohamed Salah and Florian Wirtz, and the likes of Cody Gakpo, Harvey Elliott as back-up options, would they have the best attacking unit in the Premier League? Probably. It could turn out to be one of the best transfer windows in Premier League history as Nunez has struggled to score consistently, while Diaz is a fine player but seems happy enough to move on to help Liverpool fund a lot of their big spending on new forwards.

Defender FINALLY makes Liverpool transfer decision

Liverpool's record-breaking summer of spending is going to have an impact on the players already at the club. We've already seen the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher and Jarell Quansah leave Anfield with more Premier League title-winners tipped to follow suit. Those departures would go a long way towards adding to Liverpool's transfer kitty - which could then be used on Alexander Isak. Tsimikas squeezed out by Kerkez But there are other, lower-profile players who could be also facing the exit. Among them are Harvey Elliott, Tyler Morton, Ben Doak and Federico Chiesa. And another player facing an uncertain future is Kostas Tsimikas. The £40m+ arrival of Kerkez has generated a huge conundrum in Liverpool's left-back spot. We have already seen Owen Beck depart on loan - albeit having signed a new long-term deal - while Andy Robertson and Tsimikas will be further down the pecking order. Tsimikas, 29, has got suitors both in the Premier League and abroad - according to various reports - and now looks resigned to his fate. Tsimikas now expected to leave The Greek international IS willing to discuss a move away from Anfield this summer - according to a new report in GIVEMESPORT, with the player prioritising game time in the season ahead. 'Tsimikas is said to be open-minded about the next step in his career and would be willing to leave Liverpool if the right opportunity came along, especially one offering consistent first-team football,' the report reads. © IMAGO - Liverpool FC v RB Leipzig Darwin Nunez Kostas Tsimikas
