Paris Jackson hits out ahead of anniversary of dad Michael's death
Paris Jackson gave a sarcastic 'f**k you' to the critics who are slamming her for scheduling a performance gig on the anniversary of father Michael Jackson's death.
'So, people are mad again,' the singer began a series of videos shared to her Instagram Stories on Friday. 'One of the tour dates I'm supposed to be going out on tour with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra happens to be June 25, which is a very negative anniversary for me in my life and my family.'
On Wednesday, June 25, the musician is scheduled to perform at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The date coincidentally falls on the 16-year anniversary of her dad's death. The pop icon died at age 50 on June 25, 2009 after suffering a heart attack caused by a drug overdose.
'So, what I guess I have to explain to these people is that when you're first of three, and you're not headlining these shows, you don't pick what date you perform or what time you go on stage to perform, or what city you perform in,' she continued, adding that the decision was made by the 'big boss' headliner.

Paris also noted that she won't be getting any preferential treatment or luxury accommodations due to her supporting role in the tour.
'First of three also doesn't get a tour bus. You get maybe a sprinter van, which I've done before when I've got a band with me. But I'm not going to have my band with me this time,' she said.
'It's just me and my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who happens to be my fiance,' she added, referring to Justin Long, whom she confirmed her engagement to in December 2024. 'So we're gonna be in a soccer mum van.'
Paris, 27, further explained how her contribution to the tour does not guarantee her any favouritism as she recalled her previous experience touring with the band being 'one of the hardest f**king things' she's ever done.

'Also, why the f**k would I make a big fuss about it?' she asked, noting that the whole reason why she wound up on the tour was because she pitched herself as an additional opening act.
'This feels like [Incubus is] doing me a favour by bringing me out on tour,' she shared.
'So [what], I'm gonna tell 'em, 'Sorry, guys, we can't perform on this date?'' she added sarcastically, telling her critics, 'F**k you.'
Paris was announced as one of the opening acts alongside Manchester Orchestra on Incubus' Morning View + The Hits Tour in the US and UK in March. 'Beyond excited to have @parisjackson out on our [tour],' the band wrote in an Instagram post announcing the news. 'Can't wait to see you all there.'

Tasmania's Tongola Cheese makes delicious. awards finals again
Don't miss out on the headlines from Tasmania. Followed categories will be added to My News. Iain and Kate Field of Tongola Cheese are living proof that it's always worth daring to take that leap and follow your dream. In 2012, the couple left the city behind for a farming life at Leap Farm in south-east Tasmania, and started producing goat's cheese that soon caught the eye of the state's top chefs. 'When we started farming and making cheese, we were determined to make the best produce we possibly could,' Iain says. 'Over the last 10 years, we have worked hard to nurture our nature-friendly farm upon which our happy and healthy goats forage, and we believe this gives us the best milk from which we make delicious cheese.' And delicious this cheese is. Tongola Cheese has once again been named as a national finalist in the prestigious delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards – a feat that Iain says is 'always humbling'. 'We're absolutely thrilled to have been nominated again,' he says. 'It's a great honour to share our cheeses and to see the joy they bring to others. 'Farming can be arduous and challenging, but also deeply satisfying. We always encourage others to take the leap.' Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Sydney on Tuesday, August 26. ‘Destroyed my life': Vladimir Putin's ‘secret daughter' slams him in cryptic post
Don't miss out on the headlines from Leaders. Followed categories will be added to My News. Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged secret daughter has spoken out against her father in a cryptic post, condemning the man who 'destroyed' her and 'took millions of lives'. Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a 22-year-old art school graduate living in Paris who is believed to be the leader's youngest daughter, shared the messages on her private Telegram, in line with her increasing openness on Instagram as she's started to share more images of herself, The New York Post reported. 'It's liberating to be able to show my face to the world again,' she wrote, according to German magazine Bild. 'It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life.' The Telegram chat, named 'Art of Luiza', references her work pseudonym Luiza Rozova. Ms Krivonogikh didn't explicitly name Putin in either post, but has also never shot down the popular theories surrounding her true parentage. The budding artist was born in 2003 after a suspected affair between Putin and her mother, Svetlana, the President's then-housekeeper. The bombshell was first revealed after a 2020 investigation by Russian media outlet Proekt, citing Ms Krivonogikh's 'phenomenal resemblance' to Putin. He isn't listed on her birth certificate, but 'Vladimirovna' was included, translating to 'daughter of Vladimir'. In 2021, slain journalist and Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny exposed Ms Krivonogikh's Instagram, which showcased her life of luxury and her family's staggering wealth that many have attributed to their connection with the country's pesident. While Ms Krivonogikh originally celebrated life in the spotlight, she retreated after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2021 and her Instagram was suddenly shut down. She's since returned to the platform, but was more reserved in her posting at first, hiding her face in many photos. She's now seemingly changed her tune – and swapped sides on the devastating war after previously mourning her inability to 'make an extra lap around my beloved St Petersburg'. Ms Krivonogikh has since denounced her previous lifestyle of obscene wealth, speaking openly against her alleged father's actions in Ukraine. She also works in a Parisian art gallery that specialises in anti-war works. Ms Krivonogikh also adopted an extra pseudonym, Elizaveta Rudnova, inspired by Putin's late ally Oleg Rudnov – a cheeky stab at her elusive parentage. Still, critics of Putin haven't quite bought her reshaped image and insist that she shouldn't be working in a space where she could be interacting with Ukrainians, regardless of her stance. 'Am I really responsible for the activities of my family, who can't even hear me?' Ms Krivonogikh wrote. Putin is also rumoured to share two secret sons, a 10-year-old and a six-year-old, with his former gymnast lover and Olympic gold medallist Alina Kabaeva.
