Destiny's Child reunites for surprise medley at Beyoncé's Final ‘Cowboy Carter' tour stop in Las Vegas

In a moment that sent shockwaves through the crowd, Destiny's Child reunited on stage during the final night of Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' tour in Las Vegas. The unexpected reunion and medley brought back cherished memories and saw Beyoncé joined by former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, much to the audience's delight. The trio's appearance came late into the epic set — about 40 songs in — when they emerged in unison to perform their 2004 hit 'Lose My Breath'. Fans roared in excitement as the beloved group returned to the spotlight after a lengthy hiatus. They followed up the high-energy performance with Beyoncé's Renaissance track 'Energy,' where the three effortlessly delivered the now-iconic mute challenge, hyping up the line, 'just me and my crew – big energy!' Their segment wrapped with an electric rendition of their era-defining anthem 'Bootylicious', closing out the four-minute cameo with flair and nostalgia. The moment was a reminder of Destiny's Child's enduring influence, and how the group — once at the pinnacle of early 2000s pop and R&B — still holds a special place in fans' hearts. This marks the first on-stage reunion of Destiny's Child since their unforgettable performance at Coachella in 2018, when Beyoncé headlined and brought Williams and Rowland out for a similar surprise. Before that, the group officially disbanded following a farewell tour in 2005, though they've occasionally reunited off-stage over the years. Earlier this year, the trio were spotted together at Rowland's husband Tim Weatherspoon's 50th birthday, where they sang 'Happy Birthday' in a rare but informal musical moment. All five original members were also present for the premiere of the 'Renaissance' concert film, and Beyoncé and Rowland supported Williams during her Broadway debut in Death Becomes Her. As Beyoncé closed out her Cowboy Carter tour, the spontaneous Destiny's Child reunion provided a powerful nod to her roots and left fans hoping that this magical moment won't be the last time the group takes the stage together.

Ethan Slater shares how being part of Wicked franchise changed his life in 'huge way'

Washington DC [US], July 26 (ANI): Ethan Slater, who played Boq Woodsman in the musical film 'Wicked' and will reprise his role in 'Wicked: For Good', opened up on his journey in the film and how it has impacted him personally and professionally, reported People. "It's a hard question to think about how it's impacted my career, because it's all sort of like ongoing, one foot in front of the other," said Slater while attending San Diego Comic-Con. He added, "It's been a big part of making those childhood dreams come true," Slater said of being a part of the Wicked franchise. "I saw Wicked on Broadway with my, I think, fifth-grade class. We went on a school trip before the Tonys. It just opened, and we went, and I saw it, and that was one of the first shows that I saw," as per the outlet. "And then I brought my niece to see it for her ninth birthday," Slater continued. "I got to see it again with new eyes, and see what it must have felt like for me to see that. And so it's been such a huge part of me to now be a part of it, to be a part of Wicked, that's changed my life in a huge way," reported People. 'Wicked' is a movie adaptation of Winnie Holzman's 2003 Tony Award-winning musical, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively. The film chronicles the story of an unusual relationship between the soon-to-be Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the South, and how their lives are altered once they meet the great and powerful Wizard of Oz. 'Wicked: For Good' is an upcoming musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. The sequel to Wicked (2024) adapts the second act of the 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, which was loosely based on Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel, itself a reimagining of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its 1939 film adaptation. Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from the first film. (ANI)

Priyanka Chopra's husband Nick Jonas opens up on his first heartbreak, reveals he had crush on two people at the same time

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have been married since 2018. Their romance, even on social media and love for each other is so inspirational for couples and they indeed serve goals. In a recent interview, Nick spoke about his childhood crush when he liked two people at the same time. The Jonas Brothers appeared on Penn Badgley's podcast, where the YOU actor got them to share some fun stories about their childhood crushes and first heartbreaks. Kevin and Joe talked about their first serious loves—one even wrote a song about it, while the other reflected on it now that his daughter is about the same age. Nick, on the other hand, had a different kind of story. After some hesitation, he finally opened up about a two-part crush he had when he was just 8 years old. On the Podcrushed podcast, Nick reminisced about a theatre production he took part in called A Christmas Carol. 'My first crush was kind of a two-part deal. It's kind of embarrassing,' he admitted, reflecting on his early days on Broadway. 'I was around people who loved to sing and dance and tell stories for the first time, and I really felt like I belonged in this community. And specifically, one of my castmates named Lily…' He paused briefly before continuing, 'But I also had a crush on the child wrangler. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Libas Purple Days Sale Libas Undo ' For those unfamiliar, Nick explained, 'They're the ones who run the set when parents can't be around. They help with schoolwork and, you know, just make sure kids don't die on set.' Even at just 8 years old, Nick said he felt nervous about both Lily and the child wrangler finding out about his feelings. So, in true kid fashion, he 'tried to keep it cool.' He joked about feeling like he was caught in a 'mini love triangle.' While it seems funny now, Nick confessed that he was already worried about seeming 'weird,' especially since he was so deeply involved in music and theatre — a passion not shared by many of his peers. Nick then shared about his first heartbreak, which came around the age of 11 or 12. 'It sort of, like, pushed me toward music as a way to process my very big feelings at like 10 or 11,' he said. 'And I'm really grateful for that outlet because it's turned out to be a good one.' Nick and Priyanka have a daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
