Peter Andre tells daughter Princess to be 'careful in this crazy world' as he pays tribute to her to mark her milestone 18th birthday with heartfelt Instagram post
Peter Andre paid tribute to his daughter Princess with a gushing post on social media to celebrate her 18th birthday. Taking to Instagram, it was clear the Mysterious Girl singer, 52, was choking on his words as he ended his heartfelt message with a sad warning, as he told her to be "careful" in this "crazy world."
Princess is the daughter of glamour model Katie Price and Peter and the former couple also share a son named Junior Andre.

Peter wrote: "Not enough words. So much love. My little girl is no longer a little girl. Keep being you. Kind, funny, sensitive, considerate and a bit bonkers….. oh, and a diva."

He added: "But a diva full of heart. I know I tell you everyday but I'll say it again. I love you so much."
The singer continued: "Happy 18th beautiful and please stay happy. But be careful in this crazy world. Im always here. Always. Dad @princess_andre."
During an interview with Notebook magazine ahead of her milestone birthday, Princess revealed that she was not planning a raucous party to celebrate as she is not a big drinker.
She said: "I'm not really a big drinker or a big party-goer, but it'll be nice to be able to go to pubs and stuff with my friends."
She added: "I'm not the sort of person who'd embarrass myself. I'll never put myself in a position that would make me look bad."

While it was clear to fans that Peter was struggling to come to terms with his daughter becoming an adult, it seems Princess is also aware too.
In her chat, she went on to say: "He's so proud and so supportive, but I think it's hard to see your kid get older."
Princess was treated to a brand new car to celebrate her birthday and passing her driving test.

But when she took him out in the car for the first time, it seems the experience was too emotional for him to handle.
Princess said: "He was the first person I took for a drive in the new car. We were listening to music and suddenly I heard him sobbing. 'I was like, 'Are you OK?' And he admitted it was weird for him to see me grow up."
Unfortunately for the aspiring singer who plans to follow in her father's footsteps, her birthday was marred with a bit of upset following her recent split from her boyfriend.
Speaking about the break-up she said: "I'm feeling good. I've always kept my personal life personal, so I don't talk too much about it, but now is the time to focus on me."

Glastonbury Festival fans surprised with secret set from iconic DJ and his son

Glastonbury Festival 2025 fans were over the moon with Fatboy Slim's secret set, with his son Woody Cook joining him on stage Glastonbury Festival 2025 fans were over the moon as Fatboy Slim took to the stage to perform a secret set. The iconic DJ performed to just a few dozen people, with Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, bringing on his son Woody - who he shares with radio star Zoe Ball. The 61-year-old DJ brought the energy to the small stage while his son Woody, 24, acted as the hype man and danced and bounced around. Fans were delighted by the set and took to the video shared on Instagram to compliment the father-son duo, with one person writing on Woody's page: "Well done lads." ‌ ‌ "You have no idea how much we love you Norman. Yes was on the beach in Brighton over 20 years ago. LEGEND," another huge fan commented. One said: "What an amazing thing for father and son to do!!" and another questioned: "Why is it not on iplayer?" The 24-year-old son of Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball recently discussed his family in an interview with OK! Last month, he revealed he's ready to give back to his 'heroic' mum and dad as he discussed following in his parents' footsteps. When asked about DJing, he said: "It's beautiful. They say when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I've always been a storyteller and I never originally wanted to be a DJ, but I loved making music so much. Turns out, DJing is just like telling stories, through sound." Woody also doesn't mind people comparing him to his parents as he praised the "heroic people". He said: "I can't tell you who I'd be without my parents. "They gave me the best education ever from them. More than anything, my parents are heroic people. They are the most generous, loving, kind, hard-working people on Earth, and that's what they've given me. "I feel like I owe it all to that. It doesn't matter who they are in their day-to-day life, they are amazing human beings." It was a hectic weekend at Glastonbury as Sunday kicked off with Glastonbury bosses slamming Bob Vylan's 'Death to IDF' chants on stage, declaring the punk rap duo had "crossed the line". It comes as police confirmed that they are investigating the footage. ‌ On Sunday afternoon, Rod Stewart performed in the Legends slot after fellow singer Kate Nash lashed out at the legend on Saturday evening. The rocker earned rave reviews but errors in his set included introducing special guest Lulu before realising she would be joining him on stage later. He made some surprise comments back in 2023 about retiring, where he said: "I'm not retiring. But I want to move on. I had great success with The Great American Songbook, all-American standards, and I've just done a swing album with Jools Holland, which is going to come out next year, so I want to go in that direction. I just want to leave all the rock 'n' roll stuff behind — for a while, maybe."

Princess Andre 'scaring' dad Peter as he looks forward to her wedding

Peter Andre has admitted that he's been left 'scared' over his daughter Princess turning 18 this week, with the singer even looking ahead to his eldest daughter's wedding. Peter Andre says he's 'scared' after his daughter, Princess, turned 18 on Sunday, admitting the thought of his little girl growing up isn't an easy one. Even looking ahead to her wedding, the doting dad of five says he's excited to walk her down the aisle one day, despite Princess reportedly splitting from her boyfriend last month. ‌ Taking to his weekly New! Magazine column, Peter said of his daughter's milestone: "My beautiful daughter, Princess, has hit the 18 mark! It is so scary, but she's a blessing. She's very driven, she's funny, she's kind, she has a beautiful heart, and she's completely bonkers – and that's exactly why I love her. ‌ "Yes, I'm a bit nervous about it all, because, by the time this column comes out, I have no legal parental responsibility over her… She can do what she likes and make her own decisions," he continued. Peter added: "To be honest, she's been doing that for the last year anyway, and I'm proud of everything she's done. She'll always be my little girl, and I guess I can rest in the knowledge that hopefully, one day, I'll be the one walking her down the aisle. So I'll be a soppy dad all over again." Alongside Princess, Peter shares eldest Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price. While he and wife Emily MacDonagh are parents to Theo, Amelia and Arabella - keeping all three children away from the spotlight. However, Princess and Junior are quite the opposite as the teens are already following in their famous parents footsteps with large social media followings and budding careers in showbusiness. With her own reality show on the way and several brand collaboration deals already under her belt, Princess is clearly determined to make it big. While Junior has already pursued a career in music and has a strong social media presence. ‌ Admitting she knows it's not easy for her dad to see her grow up, Princess - who bought herself an Audi as an 18th birthday present - recently shared: 'He's so proud and so supportive, but I think it's hard to see your kid get older... he was the first person I took for a drive in the new car. "We were listening to music and suddenly I heard him sobbing. I was like, 'Are you okay?' And he admitted it was weird for him to see me grow up.' While Princess may be 18, Peter won't have to worry about her getting up to too much mischief, she said. "I'm not really a big drinker or a big party-goer, but it'll be nice to be able to go to pubs and stuff with my friends,' Princess explained. 'But at the same time, I'm not the sort of person who would embarrass myself. I'll never put myself in a position that would make me look bad.'

Wimbledon star branded 'pig' in horror abuse

Rising tennis star Jodie Burrage talks about having to 'know yourself' to deal with online trolls, her sporting dreams and why she 'wouldn't be where she is today' without rugby star boyfriend Ben White When British tennis star Jodie Burrage moved into her London apartment just two streets behind Wimbledon' s iconic All England club, she was buying more than a home. 'I can see Court One from my balcony,' says Jodie, who is currently the British No.7 ranked female player. 'When I moved in, I hadn't yet played the main draw Wimbledon. Maybe subconsciously I was trying to manifest it.' Within two years, that hope became a reality. In 2021, Jodie made her Grand Slam singles debut in the Wimbledon championships with a wildcard entry. She returned a year later and by 2023 cracked the WTA Top 100 after winning first-round matches at both Wimbledon and the US Open — moments she now calls 'career defining'. ‌ ‌ But last summer, sidelined by a foot injury, the 26-year-old found herself watching the sport she loves from that same balcony. 'It was bittersweet,' reflects Jodie, who was on crutches with her foot in a protective boot for 10 weeks after rupturing an ankle ligament during a practice session with British No.2 Katie Boulter, shortly after recovering from wrist surgery. 'It was a dream to play there. But missing it last year because of injury was really tough. I was so close to where I wanted to be, but in a strange way, seeing Wimbledon from that vantage point gave me so much motivation to fight my way back.' And fight she did. Now, with the start of this year's tournament on 30 June, Jodie is playing both women's singles and doubles after earning another wildcard spot. 'Walking back onto those courts again this year means everything. It will be a full circle moment and a real reward for all the hard work I put in to get back from the injury last year,' she smiles, referring to the fitness regime that got her back in top shape – a gruelling six-days-a-week training programme, complete with one-hour warm-up, one-hour gym workout, a 30-minute cardio conditioning session, plus rehab and physiotherapy. 'I've been working hard to get my body ready and I believe I can get back to my career-best ranking of 85,' she says. 'Then the dream is to be in the top 10 in the world. That's where I want to be for the rest of my career!' Behind her own resilience is a stellar support system, namely her retired accountant mum Yvonne, computer software specialist dad Chris, and her rugby player boyfriend, Ben White, 27, who she met on Instagram six years ago. 'I wouldn't be where I am now without Ben,' Jodie says of the scrum-half, who plays for French side Toulon. 'A year into our relationship, after my third ankle operation, I said I was done and I was contemplating retirement. ‌ 'At the time, he was going through shoulder surgery, so we were dealing with similar emotions and bonded over that. If it wasn't for him — as well as my family — I wouldn't have set foot back on the court. He kept me believing I could get back to the level I was before injury, and he was there for me and kept me as happy as I could be in that time. I was very lucky for that.' Yet with elite sport highs come crashing lows and last month, when Ben wasn't selected for the British Lions' summer tour of Australia, Jodie says the emotional impact seeped into her own performance at the French Open, where she lost in round one. 'Two sportspeople, living a life together, can be chaotic and quite hard to manage and when those emotions come into it, you just have to be there for one another,' she explains. 'I wasn't having the results I wanted — I won one or two matches — and I was dealing with other stuff off court as well as trying to help Ben. It was a difficult time.' ‌ Juggling their long-distance romance — while Jodie lives in London, Ben is in the south of France — isn't always easy, but they make it work. 'When I go to France and Ben is training for six hours, I understand it. A lot of people wouldn't,' says Jodie. The couple share a black Labrador, Otto, but have no immediate plans for marriage and children. 'We've spoken about it before, but we're just enjoying where we are now and there's no rush for us. With my career, I'm not having kids for another five, six years, so there's literally no [point] in rushing it. We're just happy focusing on our careers.' ‌ Growing up in Hindhead, Surrey, Jodie was four when her tennis-obsessed mum put a racket into her hand. A promising gymnast too, she trained up to 14 hours a week until a county tennis coach spotted her potential at 11 and tennis became her priority. Now known for her grit and fighting spirit after bouncing back from setbacks, Jodie is hungry to inspire the next generation. 'It feels wonderful to be encouraging visibility and engagement in female sport and to be part of that momentum,' she says, before expressing concern over research showing 45% of teenage girls globally drop out of sport — double the rate of boys — largely because of body confidence issues. 'You need good nutrition, strength and stamina. in sport, but every sport has different needs, so everyone's going to look different. In tennis, there is possibly every single body type you could imagine.' ‌ Jodie is herself no stranger to scrutiny. 'There's no hiding from the abuse that you get after matches. It's pretty much after every single game,' she sighs, noting that many culprits are gamblers who strike whenever she loses a game. 'Right now, people are loving the pig emoji on my Instagram. I'm a bigger girl than a lot of others in professional tennis and it's a conversation I've had to deal with throughout my whole career. That's the downside of social media. It's tough.' Although Jodie — who developed a 'thick skin' growing up in a household with three brothers, Zach, Ben and Seb — says she can 'deal' with the abuse, she worries about the potential effect on younger players. I can push that to one side, but I know some people struggle with [that kind of criticism],' she says. 'You just have to know yourself and be strong within yourself.' To stay grounded, Jodie embraces normal life. 'In our downtime, Ben and I play a fair bit of golf, we go for dinners, we have barbecues and do fun stuff. I let my hair down sometimes,' she says. 'Some deem it bad if athletes relax with a drink or a cheat meal, but you don't have to get blind drunk. To help get me in a better place to perform mentally on court, sometimes I need to relax in a beer garden, have a few drinks and chat about what every other person chats about!'
