He also announced the construction of a vegetable market in Hadouda village, subject to feasibility assessment, and the inclusion of Jhojhu Kalan village under the Mahagram Yojana. These announcements were made at a public meeting at Jhojhu Kalan in Charkhi Dadri district.

CM Saini announced that the consolidation work of certain villages in the constituency, which is currently pending, will be completed at the earliest.
He said a veterinary hospital will be established in Patuwas village once suitable land is available.
He announced that Badhra will be granted the status of an electricity division, and an electricity office will be constructed for which Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned. In addition, after conducting a feasibility assessment, the Badhra Public Health subdivision will be upgraded to a full division. Announcing plans to upgrade the Kaliyana-Dadri road to a four-lane highway, the Chief Minister said the project will proceed after the feasibility study.
Responding to the demand for granting sub-tehsil status to Jhojhu Kalan, he said an application should be submitted to the committee constituted by the government for such matters.
Furthermore, he announced that a fire station will be set up in Badhra after a feasibility assessment. The government schools in Mahrana and Dhani Phogat villages will also be upgraded to the senior secondary level following a feasibility review.
CM Saini, while announcing measures to strengthen the road network in the constituency, said 100 roads covering a total length of 311.20 km, currently under the Defect Liability Period (DLP), will be repaired.
He also announced Rs 20.40 crore for the repair of 12 PWD roads spanning 48.31 km. Special repairs will also be carried out on five roads measuring 13.80 km under the Marketing Board in the Badhra area.

To mark Urban Development Year 2025, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated various projects worth an estimated Rs 73.01 crore in different zones and laid the foundation stone for projects worth around Rs 362.45 crore, in Surat on Saturday. With Surat city acing the Super Swachh League as the cleanest city in India, CM Patel congratulated the sanitation workers. Under the rainwater harvesting initiative, a total of 32 lakh structures have been constructed across 33 states and 611 districts in India. Under Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari-2, which started on June 1 this year, Gujarat stood in first position, while in Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari-1, it clinched the 6th position. In the JSJB-1, Banaskantha, which falls within the dark zone and is a dry area, has worked exponentially well. With the help of Banas Dairy Chairman Shanker Chaudhary, over 27,000 structures for Jal Sanchay were made in the district. Farmers paid 50%, and the remaining one was paid by Banas dairy in JSJB-1.' At the event, two films narrating the development and growth story of Surat were screened. At the event, CM Patel also watched a performance put together by the students of the AI (Artificial Intelligence) Lab at Suman School, which the Surat civic body runs. Besides, he conducted a computerised draw system of 1,494 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna at Bhestan, Palanpur and Bhesan, from Sanjiv Kumar Auditorium in Surat.

If 14,000 men have benefitted from Ladki Bahin Yojana, we will recover money from them: Ajit Pawar
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday said the government will recover money from those men who have taken advantage of the state's flagship Ladki Bahin Yojana which was said to be largely instrumental in bringing the BJP-led Mahayuti back to power in Maharashtra. Over 14,000 men have been reportedly benefitted from the scheme. 'The Ladki Bahin Yojana was implemented as financial assistance for poor women. It was brought with honest intention. It was not meant for men. And therefore, we are going to recover the money from them. If they do not co-operate, we will take action against them,' Pawar told reporters when asked about the media reports that 14,298 men have benefitted from the scheme. The scheme was started in August 2024 before the Assembly elections. The beneficiaries got Rs 1,500 per month in their bank accounts. As many as 14,298 men have apparently received benefits of over Rs 21 crore. Sports Minister Dattatraya Bharne, who in the past had admitted how the scheme had put additional financial burden on the state government, said, 'If men have got benefits from the scheme, the government will take appropriate action in the matter.' Another NCP Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said, 'If this has happened, then government will investigate.' Shashikant Shinde, NCP (S-P) state president, said, 'We have been consistently saying that those who were not eligible were getting benefits of the Ladki Bahin Yojana. In the House too, we had been asking the government to recover the amount which was wrongly distributed. The scheme was wrongly implemented.' Baramati MP Supriya Sule said it has come to light that some men have taken advantage of the Ladki Bahin Yojana. 'The government hurriedly got lakhs of forms filled up by women before the Assembly elections,' she said, while demanding ED and CBI investigation against contractors who were tasked with getting forms filled up from women about the Ladki Bahin Yojana.

ARASIKERE: Raising of slogans and blowing of whistles by fans at public gatherings is common for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah when he reaches the podium to address public functions. Usually, he continues the speech, taking it slightly in almost all public functions. In a surprise development, the CM on Saturday lost his temper and stopped his speech in the halfway and returned to his chair while addressing the mammoth gathering in Arasikere town on Saturday. CM Siddaramaiah, who inaugurated development works worth over Rs 500 crores here, was upset when the supporters of local MLA KM Shivalingegowda continuously raised slogans in favour of their leader, demanding a ministerial berth. Angry Siddaramaiah stopped his speech in the middle and moved towards his chair. Shocked by the development, local MLA KM Shivalingegowda and the district in-charge minister rushed to Siddaramaiah and pacified him. Both KN Rajanna and KM Shivalingegowda took the crowd to task for the incident. Finally, the CM returned to the podium and continued his speech only after the crowd was stopped from raising slogans. The CM said that giving a cabinet berth to Shivalingegowda is not in his hands. The high command has to make a decision in this regard. It is not fair to discuss such matters publicly. Indirectly giving clues about cabinet berth to KM Shivalingegowda he said that K Shivalingegowda has a bright future and also has all the qualities to become the minister. He also has asked the crowd to maintain the silence if you support KM Shivalingegowda. Siddaramaiah has lauded Shivalingegowda for his commitment towards development of the constituency represented consecutively for four times.
