Travis Kelce reveals how Travis Hunter could get exposed in the NFL amid Jaguar rookie's two-way plans
Hunter is gearing up for his rookie season in Jacksonville after being drafted No. 2 overall by the Jaguars back in April.
The Heisman Trophy winner, who got married to Leanna Lenee this offseason, got his hands on that coveted award due to his breathtaking versatility as both a wide receiver and a cornerback in the college ranks.
Jaguars head coach Liam Coen has suggested Hunter will be a two-way player for his team in the coming season, revealing last month that he was practicing on both sides of the ball.
Yet according to Kelce, lining the 22-year-old up on defense could backfire when teams 'run deep balls at him all day' to wear him out.
During an appearance on the Bussin With The Boys podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs legend was first asked if he thinks Hunter will be successful in the NFL, to which he replied: 'Hell yes, 100 percent. World-class athlete.'
Travis Kelce says NFL teams will ruthlessly target Travis Hunter if he plays defense for the Jags
However, when asked about the prospect of him playing both sides, Kelce continued: 'Both sides? See that's the thing... I don't know how they're gonna divvy it out, cause teams are gonna be going after him. They're gonna try and make his day miserable.
'If he plays corner they're gonna run deep balls at him all day, they're gonna run the wide receivers to take off on him all day, just to try and get him tired. Why wouldn't you just attack him that way?'
Kelce has previously offered up words of warning for Hunter amid his ambitions to play both sides in the NFL.
On an episode of his New Heights podcast in March, the Chiefs tight end said: 'I just think that mentality [playing both sides] - it can wear a guy out. I'm not saying that he can't do it because I was blown away by what he could do in college in terms of playing every single down.
'If he is going to do that, I think it's smarter to scheme it up to where you know you're not putting him in a vulnerable position to get tired out faster.'
Travis' older brother Jason then read a quote from Hunter's coach at Colorado - Deion Sanders - which said the plan was for the rookie to play both positions or else NFL teams should not draft him.
Travis then threw his support behind Hunter when he replied: 'I think he's proven that he needs to play on both sides of the ball.'
He continued: 'I think it's easier for him to be on the field all the time as a defensive player and then offensively coming in on certain plays. I think that is so much easier... I think he could be more influential.
'What's the point in certain run downs when you know it's run to have him on the field going in there, scooping out a safety. Could he do it? Yeah. Could I get another guy to do it? Probably.
'He's a f****n' all-around athlete, dude. You can put him anywhere on the football field. You can give him the reverses, you can do anything with him on the football field...
'When you watch him run, you're like "yeah, we should probably throw him the ball."'

Trevor Rogers, Jackson Holliday lift Orioles over skidding Braves
July 6 - Trevor Rogers pitched 6 2/3 scoreless innings and Jackson Holliday homered to help the visiting Baltimore Orioles beat the Atlanta Braves 2-1 on Sunday to sweep their three-game series. It was the third straight win for the Orioles, who swept a series against Atlanta for the first time since 2015 and in Atlanta for the first time since 1999. It was Baltimore's fourth sweep of the season. The Braves have lost four in a row and dropped nine of their last 11. Atlanta fell to 11 games under .500. Rogers (2-0), who entered the game with a 0-7 career record against the Braves, allowed only four hits and two walks and struck out a season-high six. It was the third scoreless stint in five starts for Rogers, who lowered his ERA to 1.57. Baltimore reliever Seranthony Dominguez allowed a solo homer to Sean Murphy, his 13th, and a single to Ozzie Albies with one out in the ninth inning. Dominguez fanned Drake Baldwin and retired Michael Harris II on a grounder to earn his second save. Holliday went 4-for-4, the second four-hit game of his career, with a double and a home run. He supplied all the offense via a two-run homer in the third inning that just cleared the 16-foot brick wall in right field. It was his 11th of the season. Atlanta starter Grant Holmes (4-8) pitched six innings and allowed two runs on four hits and three walks with five strikeouts. Holmes was helped by the Braves' defense, which turned three double plays behind him. The Orioles placed Gary Sanchez on the injured list with a right knee strain, giving the team four catchers on the IL. They acquired Alex Jackson from the New York Yankees to serve as the backup. Jackson was batting .226 with 10 homers in 44 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Orioles went 4-2 on their road trip and return home to start a three-game series against the New York Mets on Tuesday. The Braves went 2-7 on their homestand and begin a three-game series against the host Athletics on Tuesday. --Field Level Media

'New energy' from Delap, Gittens and Joao Pedro
Marc Cucurella says Chelsea newcomers - including Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap - have "a lot of quality" and hopes they can bring "fresh energy". The 26-year-old is one of the oldest players in Chelsea's squad and has emerged as one of their leaders. He was speaking after Gittens became their latest signing - joining from Borussia Dortmund in a £48.5m move, taking their total spend this summer to about £170m. Asked about what the new signings have added, Cucurella said: "I think this is good for Chelsea because we have new players with a lot of quality."They joined a club where we try to win every game. Hopefully, they bring good energy, the quality we know and we try to stay with them."I think it's early for them but hopefully they can bring fresh energy and a lot of quality."Chelsea beat Palmeiras 2-1 to reach the semi-finals of the Club World Cup, where they will face another Brazilian team - Fluminense - at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. Palmeiras' goal was scored by 18-year-old attacker Estevao Willian, who is joining the Blues after a £52m move. "I think he's a good player with a lot of talent," said Cucurella. "We want to help him. We try to help him in all the things that we can."Cucurella has admitted regular signings and sales have previously made things tricky at Stamford Bridge."At the beginning, it was difficult because football is a lot of relationships," he said. "You stay close with one team-mate and then he leaves or you leave. "It's difficult, but I think we have a good group now. I think we have been together for a long time. The most important thing is that as a new player, you feel OK."You have confidence and you can show your personality in everything. If you feel this from the beginning, it's more easy to reach."Should Chelsea beat Fluminense they will face either Paris St-Germain or Real Madrid in the Club World Cup final."For all of us, it is very important," said Cucurella. "At this moment, we do not think about the fatigue. If we are tired, we want to enjoy this moment."It is a good opportunity to do something important, to be proud of our work and to play for Chelsea."
