Runaway zebra's wild adventure comes to an end after dramatic helicopter rescue
The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office announced in a Facebook post on Sunday that "celebrity Zebra Ed" had been "rescued safely."
"Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is happy to report Tango 82 aviation crews located Zebra Ed and returned him to his owner Sunday," officials wrote in the post.
The runaway zebra was found near Interstate 24 "in a pasture near the Buchanan Estates subdivision," the sheriff's office said.

"Zebra Ed" originally arrived in Christiana on May 30, according to officials, and he was reported missing one day later by his owner.
The sheriff's office didn't say how or where the owners got the zebra, or where it was being housed at the time of its escape.

Deputies said he escaped into a wooded area off Interstate 24, where he was spotted by bystanders "wreaking havoc," between Joe B. Jackson Parkway and the Epps Mill Road exits.
Deputy Ryan Keach located the zebra near the interstate and shut down one lane of traffic for travelers' safety on May 31, the sheriff's office told Fox News Digital.
"After the zebra crossed the interstate, deputies closed both the eastbound lanes toward Chattanooga and the westbound lanes toward Nashville," the agency said.

"Zebra Ed" was not spotted again for several days following the May 31 sighting, officials said.
Prior to Sunday's rescue operation, Ed was spotted again on Friday, June 6, in a field near Ridgewood Drive in Christiana. The sheriff's office announced that deputies saw him through a drone camera and were working with a veterinarian to safely rescue the animal.
"We don't want to scare the zebra," RCSO Cpl. Sean White said. "We need time to get him to calm down."
The sheriff's office did not disclose what is next for "Zebra Ed."

TN Yanks Driving Privileges from Bullies
Teen bullying here in Tennessee now comes with a very inconvenient penalty. I'm Tomi Lahren, more next. In a noble effort to combat bullying and cyberbullying, a new law here in Tennessee states that any minor found guilty of bullying or cyberbullying in juvenile court will lose their driving privileges for one year. This was a bipartisan measure that lawmakers here in the volunteer state hope to see other states adopt. The law might seem a bit harsh but it does offer a second chance for first time offenders and has a carve out to allow teens to drive with restricted privileges to church, school and work. That does require sign off by a judge, however. It's a noble endeavor. Far too many young people suffer long term consequences from bullying and far too many even resort to taking their own life. I do think this law is going to be tough to enforce, though. One man's 'teasing' is another man's 'bullying' and the discretion here seems pretty broad. Even so, I hope parents will step up to the plate and fill the void. Manners, decency and godliness in the home would go a long way and probably be more effective than yanking driving privileges. Pontiac bicyclist killed in hit-and-run crash, deputies searching for driver
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is searching for a driver who struck and killed a bicyclist Thursday night in Pontiac and then fled. Deputies say the crash happened at around 11:07 p.m. Thursday on Baldwin Avenue and Rundell Avenue. A 31-year-old Pontiac man was riding a bicycle north on Baldwin when authorities say he was hit by the driver of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, who did not stop and drove away from the scene. A witness told deputies that they followed the Jeep on a side street, where the driver and a passenger got out of the vehicle and then drove away in a silver Chevrolet Malibu. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies have not identified the victim. "We are seeking the public's help to locate and identify the individual involved in this hit-and-run fatal crash," said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard in a statement. "Obviously, basic humanity was not exhibited by leaving an individual to die in the street. We are seeking anyone with information that could help bring this individual to justice." Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this incident. Tipsters remain anonymous.
