SHOW TIME ITV's huge new entertainment show to replacing Saturday Night Takeaway revealed – and show will have a hidden twist
With Saturday Night Takeaway and Dancing On Ice on the shelf, ITV has had a vacancy for its next big entertainment hit.
And I can reveal that a star-studded prank show called Celebrity Sabotage has already been filmed and will fill the primetime slot.

They've installed channel golden boy Joel Dommett as host with I'm A Celebrity favourites Sam Thompson and GK Barry plus Loose Women's Judi Love as support.
Their mission will be to playfully sabotage unsuspecting members of the public by completing daring and funny stunts.
And they'll be helped along by a bulging line-up of celebs which include Jill Scott, Fay Ripley, Olivia Attwood, Jo Brand, Guz Khan and Harry Redknapp.
But that's not where the A-list action ends.

Each episode begins with a set of contestants arriving for what they believe is a brand-new ITV show.
These range from cooking challenges and relationship tests to business tasks and even murder mystery games.
To make it even more convincing, these fake shows will have believable hosts, including familiar faces such as Clare Balding, Matt and Emma Willis, Monica Galetti, Jason Fox, Sara Davies and Rylan Clark.
Every successfully executed sabotage mission will add more money to a secret prize pot for the contestants.

A source said: 'Celebrity Sabotage will have everything ITV does best at its heart — fun and laughter, a huge cash prize and it's absolutely jam-packed with celebs.'
The show is set to air on ITV later this year.
I'd love to have been in the green room for this one.

Just because she's wearing a party hat in a first look at new Amazon MGM+ series The Institute doesn't mean that Mary Louise Parker is all fun and games.
The actress plays Ms Sigsby in the adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name, the director of a shady institution that kidnaps children before putting them through horrifying experiments and dishing out torture in the hopes of them developing telekinetic and telepathic powers.
The series director Jack Bender told me: 'Mary Louise's character is evil, and the villain, and even more so coming, let me tell you!'
She's joined by Ben Barnes in the series, as former police officer Tim Jameson, and Martin Freeman's son Joe, as main character Luke Ellis, a super-smart 12-year-old with telekinetic abilities.

And for Joe, the most intimidating part of the new role wasn't getting to grips of the horrors of what happens to Luke, but getting to grips with being on set away from his family.
He joked: 'I felt intimidated landing in Canada. I didn't know anybody on the whole continent.'
The Institute airs on MGM+ from July 13.
Prime Video will air a series of documentaries about some of the UK's most high-profile true crimes.

The Orkney Assassin: Murder In The Isles, about the killing of a waiter in 1994, streams from today.
The Hunt For Shannon Matthews and Hunting The Tinder Predator will follow later in the year.

A new sketch show is coming to ITV later this year to celebrate Black History Month.

Say! Less! will be packed with sketches based on the differences between internet culture and the offline reality as part of the ITV Diversity Commissioning Spend, a £80million project laid out over the next three years.
It comes from the minds behind the BBC's Munya Chawawa's Race Around Britain and Channel 4's The Big Narstie Show.
An insider teased: 'Say! Less! is a rapid fire mix of viral parodies and absurd character - it's bold, smart and unapologetically Black British Gen Z.'
Casting is yet to be announced but will showcase talent from rising comedy stars.

It will stream on ITVX in October.

Patsy Kensit has turned down Real Housewives of London – admitting her life's too quiet for the drama-packed series

I revealed last month that she was approached to star in the new Real Housewives of London, but Patsy Kensit has now revealed why she turned down the opportunity.
And it's not because the actress, who is the ex-wife of Liam Gallagher, was worried about sharing the behind-the-scenes of her life on the Hayu series.
Surprisingly, it's because she reckons her life is too boring.
Patsy told me: 'I did have a meeting with them, but I live in my little flat in London with my cat, my sons have flown the nest, and I don't think my lifestyle would stand up to these women.
'I wouldn't fit with them - but I'm a huge fan and I love the show, Real Housewives of Cheshire's Dawn Ward is one of my favourites, I'm a superfan of hers.'
The full line up features Real Housewives of Jersey star Karen Loderick-Peace, millionaire mogul Amanda Cronin, Ladies of London's Juliet Angus, Bake Off: The Professionals star Nessie Welschinger, Australian model Juliet Mayhew and socialite Panthea Parker.

Stephen Mulhern has passed Roy Walker's Catchphrase record – but reveals why he'll never copy his iconic catchline
Stephen Mulhern has now presented more episodes of Catchphrase than show legend Roy Walker – but he's not following in his footsteps quite yet.
Chatting to TV Biz on the set of ITV's Celebrity Catchphrase, Stephen revealed a secret behind Roy's famous 'It's good… but it's not right' saying, which he'll never emulate.
Stephen said: 'The reason he used to say that is he never used to wear an earpiece to the production team.

'So the floor manager would give him a thumbs up if the answer was right, or a thumbs down if it was wrong.
'So to give him more time, Roy would go, 'it's good..' wait for the floor manager to go down or up… then 'but it's not right' or 'and it's right!'. Which is amazing, really, isn't it?
'I find it fascinating that Noel Edmonds, Roy, Bruce Forsyth, all those legendary performers and presenters never wear earpieces.
'They just don't like it. Brucie never did it, even on Strictly.'

The actor, who played ITV's socially awkward medic for 10 series, volunteers his pet dogs at the local centre too.
He said: 'I've been doing it for a few years. Every now and again, I take a horse down there.

'He's a big horse. He's like 18 hands, Clydesdale.
'And they just like to touch him really. People have a gut emotional response to him.'
Clarifying on the Oh My Dog! Podcast, he went on: 'Not indoors, outdoors. But then afterwards, I'll take a dog around the wards.
'And that's just fabulous.'

Loose Women star addresses 'catfights' and 'massive fallout' with Denise Welch

Coronation Street legend and Loose Women star Sue Cleaver addresses the 'depressing' talk of co-star feuds, as well as her Corrie exit and search for new horizons Sue Cleaver is looking forward to a summer of countryside strolls and new experiences after walking out of Weatherfield for the final time. The Hertfordshire-born actress's final scenes as Coronation Street 's Eileen Grimshaw aired on 6 June and, as she's quick to tell Love Sunday during our exclusive chat, she is very much about 'embracing change and living fearlessly'. Now 61, and after 25 years on Corrie, the Loose Women regular is on a mission to learn – or to be more specific, learn about herself. 'I've made massive decisions to reinvent myself and embrace change. This is the time of life when society wants you to just go away quietly,' says Sue. ‌ ‌ She continues, 'But this is the period, for a lot of women who have put themselves second – because they've brought up families, had mortgages, etcetera – when we hit an age and think, 'What now? Who am I?' 'Everything I've done in the last year has been about reinvention and discovery. I'd like to say I'm one of life's learners, and I never stop learning. I'm just getting really interested in me, and challenging all the beliefs I had about myself.' Her next professional reinvention will be from screen to stage, as she takes on a new role in Theatr Clwyd and Bolton Octagon's co-production of Snake In The Grass later this summer. It's especially exciting, she explains, because it's a 'full circle' moment. 'The Octagon Theatre in Bolton is where I got my first equity card. I must've been in eight or nine plays there. So to be going back there at this stage in my life feels sort of full circle, it's quite lovely.' Of course, we also see the star as an occasional panellist on Loose Women, which is set for some big changes – including losing the studio audience – come January, amid a raft of ITV cuts. ‌ 'I love that show. It's brilliant. I've known all the girls for years, so, yeah,' she says, when we ask if she's hoping for more appearances now that her work calendar is less full. And what of the speculation about women at war and in-fighting? 'They always like to say 'catfights', but they only say that about women, don't they? They wouldn't dream of saying that when it's blokes presenting something. Actually we're very tight. But it happens a lot when Denise [Welch] and I are on together. 'We've known each other for 25 years – we're close friends and have a sort of shorthand in the way we communicate. The press will say 'massive fallout', but I've never fallen out with Denise in my life! It's quite awful, we've still got so far to go that it's depressing.' ‌ Off-screen, Sue's been fighting her own quiet health battle. She has lived with Type 2 diabetes for 29 years, and describes its effect on her as running 'a mental marathon, every single day'. In the last three years, she's relieved some of the mental load by wearing a Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitor, which provides automatic glucose readings without the need for a finger prick. ‌ 'I can't explain the mental fatigue you get, it's like an app running in the background of your brain, a constant noise of 'What's my sugar? Did I take my meds? What can I eat to avoid a spike?' 'It's like constant brain drain from making decisions, and the stress affects people because, unlike a diet, diabetes management is lifelong and that decision fatigue manifests in skipped medications and poor food choices. It's not about being lazy, people get totally overwhelmed and I really relate to that.' Sue says access to accurate readings taken every few minutes means she doesn't have to constantly debate her eating habits and activity levels. ‌ She also praises recent Race Across The World competitor, teenager Fin Gough, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes aged 11 and navigated his way from northeastern China to southern India with girlfriend Sioned Cray. 'One of the biggest things for me was when I was about to do a live performance, go on a chat show or on stage, the inner stress and cortisol running through my body would have an impact on my sugars. So, I'd be thinking, 'God, are my sugar levels enough to get me through this without having a hypo [hypoglycemic event]?' ‌ 'I'd have to get out my blood test kit and check I was going to be able to get through the first half without having to top up. That noise is dialled down now. I can get on with what I'm supposed to be doing.' Another unwelcome side effect of her diabetes – and also of being on television – has been the spotlight on her appearance, more specifically, her weight. Sue has become the subject of many 'body transformation' headlines, especially in recent years, as she lost significant weight. What does she make of all the talk? 'I tend to refuse to get involved in those conversations because I don't like anybody to look to me for advice. The reality is I was very ill a few years ago, it's had huge ramifications on my body and I've made huge changes in my life. ‌ 'I gave up drinking for two years, I try to go to the gym every day during the week, I've changed how I view the world. I always thought I hated the gym – then I realised that was just a thought. I don't hate the gym, I just thought I did.' Sue has a theory; that fear is the biggest barrier to change, which is why she's 'very much about living fearlessly'. One of her greatest demonstrations of this was agreeing to take part in the 22nd series of I'm A Celebrity in 2022, with Boy George, Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall and eventual winner, Jill Scott. ‌ 'I'd been asked several times and always said no,' she laughs. 'Then I thought, 'Why am I saying no?' And my reason was fear. I was terrified. I decided that wasn't a good enough excuse. 'And when I got there, I couldn't believe I might've missed it because I was frightened of taking a chance. I had the best experience and I'm thrilled I did it. There were great people in the group, we bonded really well and we all behaved like grown-ups.' ‌ Now, one could argue that leaving Coronation Street after a quarter of a century was a huge decision – but it's one she's equally pleased about. Unusually, although maybe not surprising given her status as a Weatherfield legend, Sue was invited to be involved in the conversations about Eileen's exit, which essentially started with a question of life or death. 'They said, 'What kind of exit would you like? Dramatic? Do you want a final death?' And I said I didn't. I said I really wanted Eileen's son, Jason, to come back, and for it to mirror what I'm doing in my own life. For Eileen to get out there, live fearlessly, live bravely.' ‌ She filmed her final scenes with her on-screen son Ryan Thomas at the end of May and after a post-work celebratory meal with cast and crew, bid her final farewell to the Manchester set the following day. An early train to London, she explains, meant she didn't have time to sit and mope, and with her husband Brian Owen still working behind-the-scenes on the show, it's certainly not a permanent goodbye. 'That show's always been about the people, the sense of family and community, and I don't feel I've lost that. I had absolutely no doubt I was doing the right thing, and I'm not somebody who dwells on the past. Past thoughts are dead thoughts, I try to live in the present and enjoy every single moment.' * Sue wears the Dexcom ONE+ – a continuous glucose monitor that helps her track her glucose levels to manage her Type 2 diabetes. Only 15% can answer tricky maths puzzle correctly despite 'simple' solution

A tricky maths question has been leaving people scratching their heads as only 15% can answer it correctly, but it actually has a simple solution. Can you solve it? You'll need to be one of the smartest 15% in the country to answer this maths question correctly. Brainteasers and other puzzles are a fantastic way to make sure you keep your mind in tip-top shape, which can boost cognitive function and help keep degenerative diseases such as dementia at bay. There is a wide array of puzzles that work different areas of your brain, and as much as it's a disliked subject by many, maths is a great way to exercise several areas at once. Recently, a maths question was posed on the ITV game show The 1% Club, where it was claimed only 15% of people would be able to answer it correctly. ‌ In the TV show, contestants must answer questions that get increasingly harder as they drop in percentage. They begin with questions that 90% of people should get right, and descend all the way down to the fiendishly difficult 1% question. ‌ This particular maths puzzle, which was shared on TikTok, was the 15% question on a recent episode and left many people confused as they struggled to work out the answer. Do you think you've got what it takes to solve it? The question, as posed by host Lee Mack, was this: "What three consecutive numbers add up to 3,000?" While it might seem like a simple maths sum, there's more to it than that. The puzzle asks for consecutive numbers, which means you can't just pick three random numbers, and you can't use the same number twice. For example, the answer isn't "1,000 + 1,500 + 500", as although that does equal 3,000, the numbers are not consecutive. All three numbers must follow one another in order for the answer to be correct, such as 1 + 2 + 3 = 6. Have you worked it out yet? If not, here's a hint for you: Think about the most obvious way you'd get to 3,000 using three digits if they could all be the same. Is there anything you can change about those digits to get you to the right answer? ‌ If you're still working it out, don't scroll any further, as we're about to give you the solution. Answer If all your digits were allowed to be the same, then the most obvious solution would be 1,000 + 1,000 + 1,000, right? These are not consecutive numbers, but you can make them consecutive by changing just one thing. Taking one away from the first 1,000 and adding it to the last 1,000 gives you the correct answer: 999 + 1,000 + 1,001. ‌ This is the only way to get to 3,000 using three consecutive numbers. Commenters on the TikTok video were left baffled by the puzzle. Some claimed it was "easy" for a 15% question, while others said it left them stumped - and some even gave completely wrong answers. One person confidently said: "900, 1,000, and 11,000. Come on people, it's got to add up to 3,000." Their incorrect answer prompted someone else to respond: "At first, I was confused as to why this was only a 15% question, but after reading through the comment section, I understand now."
