Trainer Denim Wynen hoping to strike gold at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday with Yulong cast-off Sunshine Law
Wynen is preparing to unleash new addition Sunshine Law for the first time in the Congratulations James McDonald Benchmark 78 Handicap (1400m).
Sunshine Law was formerly trained by Annabel and Rob Archibald for whom she showed promise, winning her last two starts for the stable at Canberra and Hawkesbury.
But the daughter of Alabama Express was put under the hammer at Inglis Digital in late May where Wynen's client Steve Morris snapped her up for $85,000.

'It's early days but she is going to be one of the better horses I've trained so far that's for sure,' Wynen said.
'I am not sure why Yulong sold her. She has turned up and she is sound.
'She works really good. My trackwork rider Jess Rae has quite high raps on her.
'She has to take that to the races what she is doing at home but she is doing everything right and just does it with ease to be honest.
'She trialled really well in Sydney but has to take it to the races.'
Sunshine Law came to Rosehill Gardens for her only trial this preparation where she attacked the line to finish third in a 1030m heat.
Early scratchings will see Sunshine Law, rated a $23 chance, only take on a small field in her stable debut which Wynen concedes will be short of her best and her toughest assignment yet.
Sunshine Law was a winner in a Class 1 over a mile before winning at Benchmark 64 level over 1800m.

'We are kind of throwing her in the deep end first-up in a 78 but the owners have thrown some good money at her,' Wynen said.
'She is going to be that class of course.
'We can see has already won over 1800m and she will definitely step up in trip but it is no use starting her over anything less than 1400m.
'She trialled well over 1000m and Ash Morgan, who rode on in that trial, the only reason he got off was that he was already booked to ride (Super Norwest) with his connection with Kurrinda Bloodstock but he couldn't have had higher raps on the horse.'
Based out of Wyong, Wynen's training career is still in its early years and she is hoping to get her first metropolitan Saturday winner on the board this weekend.
Wynen could have already got on the board at Rosehill with returning mare Monkhana ($21) poised to line-up in the Midway Benchmark 72 Handicap (1400m).
Monkhana started her career in New Zealand before arriving in Australia late last year and showed improved performances in her second preparation at her new home with two wins in six starts last preparation.

The daughter of Mongolian Khan was a winner over 1400m at Hawkesbury first-up last preparation and Wynen expects she will relish the conditions.
'She will go around and she likes the wet track as well,' Wynen said.
'She is drawn good enough to head there.
'I thought she trialled well in the same trial at Rosehill and deserves a crack at town now after her few wins at the provincials last prep. She has only had 13 starts now for a few wins.
'She has come back bigger and better this prep.'

Queensland Maroons, Canbera Raiders legend Sam Backo dies aged 64
Sam Backo – a larger-than-life front-rower who represented Queensland and Australia in the 1980s – has died. Backo, 64, had been in intensive care at Cairns Hospital after being diagnosed with melioidosis - a bacterial infection - in April. Recent media reports stated Backo may have contracted the soil-borne tropical disease while swimming in Freshwater Creek at Goomboora Park in Cairns. Backo had been transferred to a Brisbane hospital but returned to Cairns where he passed on Sunday afternoon surrounded by family and friends. Nicknamed Slammin' Sam, Backo played 114 games for Canberra between 1983 and 1988 before playing a further 20 games for Brisbane in 1989 and 1990. He then had a stint with Leeds in England. A renowned character, Backo played seven State of Origin games for Queensland and six Tests for Australia. He also represented a Rest of World team in 1988. Known as a gentle giant, Backo, who suffered a heart attack in 2023, watched the recent State of Origin decider from his hospital bed. At the time of his heart attack, former teammate and Immortal Wally Lewis said: 'He was such a dominant prop. 'When he came on, Sam just destroyed everyone that was in front of him. Sam was the size of a cement truck and he made the most of it. 'That dominating period for Sam, in the late 1980s, probably gave Queensland dominance in size for the first time.' At the time, Queensland legend Trevor Gillmeister added: 'They talk about big blokes these days with footwork but Sam was one of the first that was god on his feet for a big man.' Backo was known for his work in indigenous health.

‘Thug act': North Melbourne star reported after off the ball hit

Bet: Pride Of Jezza to win (best bet) RACE 2 Belnera is an exceedingly well-bred mare by So You Think from the same family as former crack WA filly Covertly. Belnera was fifth in the Listed Dequetteville in Adelaide as a 2YO on debut and went on to place at MV and Caulfield. Runner-up at her first go for Peter Morgan on a Heavy 10 at Wagga and to a handy horse. Impending Imprint sent out some encouraging signs in her July 18 trial at Albury. Donna Scott/Blaike McDougall combo is a winning one! McPhillamy was a bit of a dark horse out of that same trial. Bet: Belnera to win, box trifecta 5,6,8,12 RACE 3 Party Boss is trained at Wagga by Gary Colvin who is known to have a good opinion of this daughter of Farnan out of a US stakes-winning mare by Kentucky Derby winner - Big Brown. So much so that Colvin ran her in the Black Opal and the Preview at the end of the first preparation. Performing Diva was spelled after a creditable second in a reasonably strong Country Maiden at home at Goulburn on Feb 28. Scratched from Forbes on Sunday but is drawn betterat Moruya on Tuesday. Vinari and Rita Red have claims. Bet: Party Boss to win RACE 4 Magic Leprechaun is a very interesting horse in pedigree terms. For one, he is bred on a similar cross, albeit reversed, as Everest favourite, Ka Ying Rising. Both horses were bred in NZ, Magic Leprechaun was born at Ardsley Stud who stood this gelding's maternal grandsire Lord Ballina all his life. As for form, Magic Leprechaun is a last start Heavy 8 winner. The wet won't be any concern for Antisocial who has two wins from three starts on Heavy. Corumbene Stud bred gelding Getty has finished on the podium at exactly half of his 26 starts. Bet: Magic Leprechaun to win, quinella 1,3 RACE 5 Witch Of November has raced seven times for a rather impressive win at Tumut together with two seconds and a third. We should also point out that the Wayne Carroll trained daughter of Starspangledbanner has two seconds and a third from her only three starts on Heavy tracks. Go well. Gulgong gelding Hard To Impress has done more good than bad in his 11 starts, mostly in and around the Central West. He boasts very good form on Heavy tracks too. Stablemate Proofreader was $16 into $14 on debut but won like a $2 fav. Generates interest and respect. Bet: Witch Of November each-way, Daily Double 1st Leg 8, 2nd Leg 11 RACE 6 Salute Again will be out of contention for any more trips to Sydney for a Highway if successful given his tally will rise to four. For the record, Salute Again has contested no less than nine TAB Highways, winning at his first one and placing in two others (often without a lot of luck either). Deepwater Artist was $5 all the way out to $10 on debut at Albury on July 18 but you wouldn't see many more impressive wins than his on the day. Scratched from Forbes on Sunday to contest this. So too was Happy Clapper's close relation, Thoughtful. Bet: Salute Again to win RACE 7 Crazy Atom is a Joe Cleary trained mare closely related to the much loved late 1980s galloper, Groucho. This particular mare has three wins and eight placings from her 26 starts, five of the minors were in fact seconds and one of them was at this same track over the same distance. Getting closer than ever to another win. Bellman has never won in 27 starts on Good tracks and while he is one for one on Firm, it is patently clear that he handles, if not even perhaps prefers Soft and Heavy. Form is good too. Brie Brie and Tropicana's Cube are well in contention.
