Shoppers say they 'need' the new product that could help make daily chores easier to complete
It's no secret that most of us love a life hack to make our routines a bit easier, and Aldi's latest Specialbuys range is designed to do just that. The supermarket has launched a new "Life Hacks range" ideal for shoppers who want a quick fix for common problems.
The new range, available in stores from July 13, includes household items, such as a robotic vacuum cleaner and a smart kettle. Aldi said: "These ingenious gadgets offer clever shortcuts to aid everything from stress-free mornings to spotless homes, with prices starting at just £5.99.

"Aldi's life hack heroes will be in stores from 13th July, but shoppers best be quick, as with all Specialbuys, once they're gone, they're gone!" Options include a Wooden Wireless Charging Clock and Pet Auto Waterer.

There's also a £9.99 item that has delighted shoppers on social media: the Mini Thermal Printer. Aldi said the printer helps shoppers "print photos and notes on the go."
As such, it could simplify various tasks, from making a checklist for your weekly chores to planning a shopping list. Alternatively, you could use the printer for quick photos, just like Aldi did in a post showcased on its Instagram.

In a photo shared on social media by @aldispecialbuysuk, the printer is seen in action, printing black and white photos of the supermarket and Kevin the Carrot.
The caption read: "Don't mind Admin being sentimental and printing a few of our fave pics. Who needs to grab one of these for their photo wall? Mini Thermal Printer £9.99 in store now!"
The post received thousands of views and wowed shoppers who reacted in the comment section. One excited commenter wrote: "I feel this is very needed so us!!"

A fan echoed: "NEED." @aldispecialbuysuk replied: "It's so handy." Someone else commented: "Love that Kevin is there!" Other commenters said they'd struggled to find the printer in their local store.
One response read: "Hi these look great - are they available at all stores? Our local never heard of them!!" @aldispecialbuysuk said: "Our Specialbuys are stocked in all our UK stores, while stock lasts."

A second said: "Tried to find in my local one and they hadn't arrived," but a later comment added: "My hubby managed to get the last one in other aldi today."
As such, shoppers will likely need to be quick if they're keen to get their hands on the camera or other items in the range, including the £29.99 Smart Kettle and the £99.99 Robot Vacuum Cleaner.
Describing the Smart Kettle, Aldi said:" With a sleek stainless-steel, matte black finish, app-control over both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enables it to be switched on from the comfort of bed, while simple temperature control from 40 to 100 degrees Celsius means it is always just right.
"Need a bit longer in bed? Just turn on the 'keep warm' function. Featuring an easy-to-use touch screen and simple temperature display, shoppers can enjoy peace of mind thanks to the automatic switch off safety feature."

The restaurant is closing while its award-winning chef plans a huge revamp of the eatery with a new 'flexible menu'. Its owners, Tim Allen and his wife Mag, first took over the eatery in 2021 and the restaurant soon landed on the UK's Top 100 list. Based in Ormskirk, Lancashire, it became famous for its delicious Sunday lunch service. However, the restaurant will be closing its doors on July 27 as it undergoes a major revamp. It will remain closed until early November when it will reopen with a very different menu. Ahead of the closure, Tim has said: "This marks a really exciting stage in sō–lō's - and our own - journey. "The time is right to invest further in the business, enhance the offering here at sō–lō and build upon the reputation we have. "We want to be able to offer a stronger dining experience. "The sō–lō people know and love will still be here - relaxed, welcoming and ingredient-led - but with a more modern, crisp, fresh new look." He is remaining tight-lipped about the refurbishment, though he has said that there will be a new chef's table. Restaurant chain owned by Michelin-starred chef is on brink of collapse 16 years after it first opened Tim has also confirmed that the restaurant will continue to serve its à la carte lunch menu and award-winning Sunday lunch when it reopens. The Michelin-starred chef did drop some hints about the new menu though. He said: "Flavour will always be at the forefront of what we do, but we are mixing things up a little. "We'll also be offering a more casual, and shorter, tasting menu style experience which showcases outstanding ingredients, our passion for produce and imaginative dishes." The news comes after several major Michelin-starred restaurants have been forced to close. La Dame de Pic closed suddenly in February, alongside fellow French restaurant Café Lapérouse. Both restaurants were located in Central London, with La Goccia - another luxury restaurant in the capital - also closing. La Goccia's owners blamed Covid and Brexit for the closure, saying that both factors left them unable to hire trained staff.
