Unlike the red-and-black suit he wore during the majority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first three 'Spider-Man' films, or the Iron Spider suit of armor provided by Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame,' Holland's latest suit looks closer to those worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield during their respective stints as the witty wall-crawler.

Featuring the classic red-and-blue colors from the comics, Holland's new costume appears to include raised webbing, a reimagined and bigger spider emblem on the chest and a practical web-shooter on his wrist.
Holland himself teased the new costume on Instagram shortly before filming kicked off in Glasgow, and he also revealed the highly anticipated superhero flick's release date.
'Are you ready?' the 'Uncharted' actor wrote. '7.31.2026.'

While it is unclear if it is part of the film or the 'Odyssey' actor is just being friendly, Holland was caught waving to someone out of frame with a big smile on his face.
Other photos from the first day of filming caught Holland picking at a wedgie, which was most likely produced by the 'Cherry' actor jumping and swinging around in his amazing new suit.
Besides showing off Holland's new costume, the pictures from the set of 'Brand New Day' revealed how the movie's crew went about transforming Scotland's largest city into Lower Manhattan.

'I think there's a promise at the end of 'No Way Home,' that for as sad as it is that Peter is forgotten by everyone in his life, we are seeing for the first time in the Tom Holland 'Spider-Man' stories, him being a proper Spider-Man,' Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, told Collider last month.
'Him being by himself, dedicated to saving the city, and dealing with – for lack of better terms – street-level crime, as opposed to world-ending events,' Feige added.

Holland himself revealed the MCU's fourth 'Spider-Man' movie's title back in March during CinemaCon 2025.
'I am so sorry I can't be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie,' the actor, who was filming Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' at the time, began. 'I know we left you with a massive clip hanger at the end of 'No Way Home,' so 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That's all I can say.'
'That's all I've been allowed to say,' he joked. 'And I'm well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don't be worried. I'm not going to do that today.'

Zendaya Offers a Rare Glimpse of Her Engagement Ring While Walking Dogs With Tom Holland
THE RUNDOWN Zendaya and Tom Holland have been busy working on several projects this year, with the couple now beginning production on Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The Marvel film is shooting in Glasgow, but Holland and Zendaya recently enjoyed some downtime in London's Richmond Park. The Sun ran photos of the pair walking their two dogs. Zendaya had on a pink oversize sweater and dark capris, with her hair down in waves. Her east-west engagement ring stood out against the casual look. See the shots here. Holland, meanwhile, wore a burgundy baseball cap embroidered with the name of his nonalcoholic beer company, Bero, along with a light-blue short-sleeve top and gray pants. Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, recently revealed the couple is holding off on planning their wedding despite getting engaged over six months ago. 'The process hasn't even started yet,' he told E! at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards' red carpet last month. 'Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune [Part Three in Hungary], so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.' He added that the actress will be 'a secret bride,' as the pair would like to keep their nuptials private. Zendaya has been filming The Odyssey, Euphoria's third season, and Dune: Part Three this spring and summer; she'll now begin work on Spider-Man: Brand New Day as well, where she'll reprise her role as MJ. Holland is shooting Spider-Man and is also in The Odyssey.

Why Meghan Markle's ‘fragile' employees waited years to accuse her of bullying
Nobody wants the wrath of 'Duchess Difficult.' Former The Times royal correspondent Valentine Low explained why Meghan Markle's former staffers waited years before they accused her of bullying in Low's 2022 book 'Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown' 'There was strong elements of nervousness and worry,' Low stated on Kinsley Schofield's 'Unfiltered' podcast last week. 'Some of them were still in a very fragile state.' 7 Meghan Markle. / The author added that Markle's employees 'were very worried about what Meghan would do to them' and 'viewed her capacity for revenge as infinite.' 'It was two and a half years later. They'd left the employ of the Royal Family and they still were in a psychologically delicate state as a result of what happened to them at that time,' Low also said. 7 Valentine Low. In addition, Low claimed that the staffers didn't want to be in the spotlight because of their allegations against Markle, 44. 'They are happy leading their new lives, doing whatever new job it is they do. They don't want the media on their doorstep,' he said. 'They don't want to have a target on them.' 7 Valentine Low's book that came out in 2022. St. Martins Press In his book, Low published anonymous staffers' claims about the alleged abuse they suffered working under the 'Suits' alum. The ex-employees claimed Markle — who they referred to as a 'narcissistic sociopath' — went on screaming tirades. On the podcast, Low noted that if Markle and Prince Harry 'were difficult to work for then, they're difficult to work for now.' 7 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their wedding day in May 2018.
