Tim David hit the fastest T20 International century by an Australian as they beat the West Indies to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in their five-match series.
The batter hit 11 sixes and six fours as he ended 102 not out off 37 deliveries, with Australia cruising to a six-wicket victory at Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts.
Josh Inglis held the previous record, with his century against Scotland in 2024 coming off 43 balls.
"I was just having a great time. I didn't think I would get the opportunity to get a hundred for Australia so I'm stoked," said David, who has previously played for Singapore and made his Australia debut in 2022.
"The pitch was good and small boundaries so you have to back your strengths. Warner Park is a great place to bat and it was great to have experience here in the CPL (Caribbean Premier League).
"I've spent a lot of time working on power hitting but now I'm working on my shot selection."
Australia won the toss and put the West Indies into bat, but the hosts made a strong start. Shai Hope and Brandon King put together a 125-run opening stand in 11.4 overs, with captain Hope recording an unbeaten 102 off 57 balls.
The West Indies continued to score at more than 10 runs an over as they posted 214-4.
Australia's reply initially stuttered as they found themselves 61-3 after 5.5 overs, but David's century saw his team surge to victory with 23 balls to spare.
"There are no words for that innings from David," said Australia captain Mitchell Marsh.
It is the joint third fastest T20I century in a match between sides who are full members of the International Cricket Council.
David Millar bludgeoned a 35-ball century for South Africa against Bangladesh in 2017, a feat matched by Rohit Sharma for India against Sri Lanka later that year.
David's effort matches that of Abhishek Sharma for India against England in February 2025.
The fastest T20I is Sahil Chauhan's 27-ball effort for Estonia against Cyprus in 2024.
Australia won the first T20 by three wickets and second by eight wickets.
The fourth match is scheduled to begin at 00:00 BST on Sunday (19:00 local time on Saturday).

That builds teams." Gagai recently claimed he felt 'disrespected' at the Knights' offer and wouldn't be against moving his family to a new city if a deal can't be reached. 'I've been taken for granted because they didn't think I'd move my family again,' Gagai told . 'The disrespect is the biggest thing. I know Adz [coach Adam O'Brien] still wants me around. He's made me captain so I must be doing something right.' Knights fans have urged the club to keep the veteran who only proved against the Raiders he is still one of their best players. Regardless, it appears Gagai will have a decision on his hand come the end of the season. "I think this is a smart move because you want to keep these kind of players around. You speak to any of the top coaches in the game and they say you can never have enough experience in your team." Gagai has made 309 appearances in the NRL for Brisbane, the Knights and the Rabbitohs. The Knights are set to miss out on finals footy in 2025 sitting tied on 16 points with last-placed South Sydney.

Broncos legend rejects claim about Reece Walsh in pointed swipe at two teammates
Corey Parker has rejected suggestions Reece Walsh was solely to blame for the Broncos' loss to Parramatta on Friday night, saying the club's veteran leaders should bear the brunt of the backlash. Brisbane were expected to trounce the lowly Eels at Suncorp Stadium, but instead came away with a 22-20 loss. Walsh made a number of costly errors at the back, most notably when he failed to catch a bomb on the full which led to a Parramatta try. He was then found to be marginally off-side on what would have been the winning for the Broncos at the death. The young fullback has copped plenty of criticism for his performance, but according to Parker it's his veteran teammates who should take more responsibility. Parker pinpointed halfback Adam Reynolds and hooker Ben Hunt as two leaders of the club who didn't stand up on Friday night, and didn't pull Walsh into line when he went a bit erratic. "There are moments in any sport when you need leadership," the Broncos legend said on SEN radio on Monday. "There comes a time when your most experienced players and your leaders have to stand up and make some bold calls, and they have to stay on task. "The Broncos have got Adam Reynolds at 35 years of age and over 300 games of experience. He's the No.7. He's what you would think is the leader of the football side. He's the captain, and he plays a real pivotal position. "Then you've got Ben Hunt at No.9 with just shy of 350 games. So between those two individuals you've got a collective 651 games between them. We hear so often when the Broncos win or don't win, it's either Reece Walsh has had an ordinary game or Reece Walsh has had a great game. [But] experience in big games and pivotal moments is paramount." He added: "You look at the team atop the competition - the Canberra Raiders - wonderful leaders in their football side that don't deviate. Jamal Fogarty has plenty of youth in his team - Xavier Savage and Kaeo Weekes - but he does not deviate from what is required. Kicks to the corners really well and steers his team around the park when they start to get a little shaky. "I want to see the leaders of the Broncos really stand up over the next four or five weeks, and if they can do that, what flows off the back of it will certainly be warranted. You need talent and your best players on the field, but some of the leadership we've seen so far this year has been exceptional (at the top clubs)." Did the bye halt the Broncos' momentum? Parker said the Broncos may have suffered from having the bye in Round 20, which halted their momentum and eventually saw a six-game losing streak snapped. Coach Michael Maguire made a conscious decision to give his players a five-day break, but it might have cost them. The Broncos were leap-frogged by the Panthers and fell to sixth place with the loss - four points behind the Warriors in fourth. Maguire's side will need results to go their way if they're any hope of a top-four finish.
