Similarly to TOTS, it has started to feel like the Shapeshifters promo has outstayed its welcome in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, with the Shapeshifters Team 3 squad failing to impress the majority of the FUT community. There were a few standout inclusions like Shapeshifters Icon Eusebio, but bar a few names, the majority of the squad is currently on the transfer market for discard price. As we enter July, players are getting excited about two things – EA FC 25 Futties and the EA FC 26 reveal. We know the latter is still a little bit away, but we're going to have to wait another week for EA Sports to release Futties, with the EA FC 25 Shapeshifters Team 4 squad up next in Ultimate Team. EA FC 25 patch notes – long-awaited tackling nerf made in latest gameplay update
EA FC 25 Title Update 17 will be available soon for players on PC, PlayStation and Xbox and Nintendo Switch EA Sports has released a new set of EA FC 25 patch notes, with tackling being nerfed in EA FC 25 Title Update 17. At the beginning of June, EA Sports released EA FC 25 Title Update 15, titled the 'Season Finale Update'. The EA FC 25 update saw lots of gameplay changes made, including passing, heading and PlayStyles, but the title was slightly misleading, with this not being the 'Finale' update players expected. Since Title Update 15, EA has released two more Title Updates, with the latest set of EA FC 25 patch notes, Title Update 17, making a much-needed change to tackling, though with EA FC 26 set to be released in a few months time, it feels like this update is a few months overdue. Along with the gameplay changes, some updates have been made to Ultimate Team and Career Mode, while a couple of quick fixes have been made to general, audio, and visual. These are the EA FC 25 patch notes for EA FC 25 Title Update 17. EA FC 25 Title Update 17 patch notes EA announced EA FC 25 Title Update 17 in the latest set of patch notes, and the biggest change by far is to the gameplay, with EA nerfing tackling. Too often, players were able to spam tackles, both standing and sliding, an unrealistic amount. But now, EA has updated the game so players will take longer to recover from failed tackles, finally nerfing spam tackling. The list of available Icons that you can use in Player Career Mode has also been updated, but EA hasn't mentioned the players being added or taken away, so we have to wait until the update is live to see what new players are in the game. EA FC 25 Title Update 17 will go live soon on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Nintendo Switch. Here are the EA FC 25 patch notes for Title Update 17 in full: Gameplay Made the following change: Failed tackles can now take longer to transition out of, with hard tackles being the most impacted. The intent of this change is to reduce situations where failed tackles instantaneously lead to another tackle attempt. Ultimate Team Addressed the following issue: In some specific cases, claiming Premium Pass rewards did not function as intended. Career Mode Made the following change: Updated list of available ICONs in Player Career. This change will be activated through a Server Release shortly after the Title Update. General, Audio, and Visual Made the following changes: Updated some button callouts, hair, kits, equipment, stadium, trophies, badges, ad boards as well as placeholder text and images. We're rapidly approaching the time of the year where EA starts to shift its attention to the future, so unless there are any major bugs or issues with EA FC 25 gameplay in the next few weeks, this could be one of the last big gameplay changes made in EA FC 25.

Brazilian league could return in EA FC 26 – but licensing issues still exist
FIFA 16 was the last time that authentic players and teams from Brazil were included in an EA Sports FIFA title. After a nine-year absence, we could see the Brazilian league, along with authentic teams and players, return in EA FC 26. EA FC 26 is now just a few months away from being released worldwide, and despite no new news about the game from EA Sports, we already seem to know quite a lot. EA FC 26 leaks have been persistent over the last few weeks, revealing all there is to know about EA FC 26. New players such as Icons and Heroes have been revealed along with new card designs, but in EA FC 26, we may also be getting some new leagues added to the game, including the Brazilian league. The last time that Brazilian football was included in an EA game title with authentic clubs and players was back in FIFA 16, but due to licensing, EA hasn't been able to include the Brazilian Serie A in the game since. This means that the glory days of Brazilian silvers in FIFA 14 have been missing for some time, but we could be set for a Brazilian league return in EA FC 26, according to leaks. The return of Joga Bonito in EA FC 26? According to @TheInfinityFC on Twitter, authentic Brazilian teams may be returning to EA FC 26, but it's slightly confusing, so let's break it down. Liga Forte Uniao (LFU) represent 33 Brazilian clubs, managing all the clubs' image and commercial rights. Among these, 12 of the teams are from the Brazilian Serie A, which includes teams like Botafogo, Fluminense, and Corinthians. The leaker claims that the LFU is reportedly negotiating a collective licensing deal with EA, meaning all of the clubs and players represented by the LFU could be authentically included in EA FC 26. With Neymar now playing in Brazil, the FC community will be desperate to use him in EA FC 26, but sorry to break the bad news – you may not be able to, at least from launch. Teams like Santos, Palmeiras, Corinthians and Flamengo, along with seven other Brazilian Serie A teams, are not represented by the LFU, but by LIBRA, which means that they won't be included in this deal. This means that any teams added by the LFU will arrive in FC 26 as Rest of World teams rather than as the Brazilian Serie A, as the league is currently made up of clubs represented by both the LFU and LIBRA. But, leaker @FutLatestInfo has also claimed in a Tweet that the Brazil Serie A will be coming to FC 26 at a later point in the year, most likely as part of a winter update. This is because teams like Santos, Palmeiras and Sao Paolo are all licensed to Konami 's eFootball, but according to the leaker, these licenses end in December. The leaker claims that 12 teams will be arriving in EA FC 26, but these teams are currently unknown. In all honesty, it's a bit of a confusing situation, but it is looking likely that at some point in FC 26, some authentic Brazilian teams and players from the Brazilian Serie A will be available in-game. Konami also confirmed in a recent update that the top division of Mexican football, Liga MX, is no longer exclusively licensed to eFootball, so all Liga MX teams will be removed from the game. Liga MX hasn't featured in an EA title since FIFA 21, so EA could get this license for FC 26.
