Megyn Kelly parodies Michelle Obama as she hits out at former first lady for 'never having a positive word to say'
Megyn Kelly has hit out at Michelle Obama with claims she 'never has a positive word to say' as the former first lady ventures further into the podcast circuit.
With her years in the White House behind her, Michelle has revealed a new side to herself by pivoting into the podcast game with a show co-hosted alongside her brother, Craig Robinson - but Megyn is yet to be impressed.
While speaking with the hosts of the Ruthless podcast, Megyn shared a clip of herself and Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan spoofing a series of Michelle's 'constantly negative' comments.
Before showcasing the clip, the journalist joked that she's been getting into the 'parody business,' with 'targets' including Meghan Markle, the women who participated in the Blue Origin space flight, and now the former Democratic first lady.
'Michelle - she should change her name to Misery Obama. That's really what I think of when I [think of her]. Misery Obama never has a positive word to say. Never. Not about children, not about family, certainly not about her husband,' Megyn said, before mimicking some of Michelle's most talked-about comments.
In a skit, the conservative commentator played a character named 'Megyn O,' and took aim at Michelle's comments about how expensive it is to live in the White House.
'We made it through. We got out alive. But what happened to me? What happened to me?' Megyn O joked.
Megyn said her new nickname for the former first lady was 'Misery Obama' because of her comments on living in the White House and being a wife
'No one talks about it,' Maureen responded, pretending to be 'Megyn O's' sister in an attempt to impersonate Michelle's brother Craig.
The two also poked fun at Michelle for remarks she made detailing the difficulties of having kids and marriage.
'We had so much fun doing this,' Megyn told podcast hosts Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, and Josh Ashbrook.
'Basically - we're doing the things that Saturday Night Live should do. We're targeting the people who should be subjected to scorn and ridicule, but the left won't touch it because they're too revered,' she added.
'We've been having such a good time just saying what's obvious,' Megyn said.
Megyn also took aim at Michelle's shocking comments about Barack on a recent episode of IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson.
When asked if she had ever wanted a son, Michelle revealed, 'I'm so glad I didn't have a boy, because he would've been a Barack Obama.'
Her guest contested that a 'baby Barack' would be 'amazing,' but Michelle quickly disagreed, 'No, I would have felt for him.'
Craig then cut in and joked, 'She just borrowed our boys,' referencing Michelle's nephews.
Megyn has been a longtime critic of the Obamas and has frequently gone after the former first lady on her podcast.
She previously blasted Michelle for comments she made about the harsh realities of marriage.
During an episode of IMO, Michelle opened up about the struggles she had in her marriage, revealing that she had a 'bad decade' with Barack.
'I tell people - and folks think this is harsh - it's, like "You're gonna have a bad decade,"' Michelle said.
'I mean, I've been married to my husband for 30-plus years... If the odds were you're going to be married to your partner for 50 years and 10 of those years could be bad, you'd sign up for it. You know, and that's really how it works out.'
Megyn referenced the clip on one of her episodes in April, staunchly disagreeing with Michelle's take.
She explained that during her 17-year marriage with Douglas Brunt, 'not one was bad.'
Michelle's latest attempt to tame the rumor mill has only further fueled speculation that her marriage to Barack is on the rocks.
The former first lady addressed the swirling divorce rumors head on in an interview with Rachel Martin, host of NPR's Wild Card podcast, released Thursday.
But instead of dismissing the rumors altogether, Michelle deflected and instead left fans wondering if the famous couple really do have something to hide.
'The fact that people don't see me going out on a date with my husband sparks rumors of the end of our marriage,' she told Martin, who jokingly claimed the behavior was the 'apocalypse'.
'It's the apocalypse,' Michelle, 61, echoed, before offering up a rather lackluster excuse: 'We don't take selfies.'
'It's like, "OK, so we don't Instagram every minute of our lives." We are 60. We're 60, y'all. You just are not gonna know what we're doing every minute of the day.'
Rumors that the couple's 33-year marriage had unraveled began circulating after Michelle was noticeably absent from several high-profile events earlier this year; including the presidential inauguration and funeral of former President Jimmy Carter.
They were further exacerbated last week when Michelle was spotted having lunch with her daughters and another, somewhat surprising companion at an exclusive beach club in Mallorca. Barack, however, was noticeably absent.

Jennifer Garner reunites with Violet after clash over climate change
and her daughter Violet reunited Friday after their spat over climate change. The 53-year-old actress and her woke 19-year-old daughter recently clashed over the response to the LA wildfires. Evacuating to a luxury hotel in January, Violet later condemned the move as privileged response to the so-called climate crisis. The 19-year-old, whom Garner shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck, recently went viral for a Yale essay in which she detailed a heated argument with her mom, 53, during their stay at the hotel. According to a exclusive, Garner and Affleck were reportedly blindsided by the essay and had no idea Violet had written about the incident for her college paper. But on Friday night, the mother-daughter duo appeared to be working through the tension as they stepped out for dinner at celeb favorite A.O.C. in Brentwood. Dressed in a striped sweater and jeans, Garner looked deep in conversation with her daughter, who wore a red sweater and flowing maxiskirt. Of course, Violet faced a backlash for toting high-end accessories in the days following her climate change rant. In May, she was photographed carrying a vintage Chloe Marcie bucket bag - an item that typically resells for around $1,000. Just days earlier, the Yale freshman had also been spotted with a Marc Jacobs purse valued between $200 and $300. The sightings sparked criticism online, with some questioning whether her message about climate privilege aligned with her own designer tastes. The news comes after Violet stepped out with her Oscar-winning father as well as her younger brother Samuel, 13, to grab a lowkey lunch - and had draped the stylish bag over her arm. Affleck and Garner - whose divorce was finalized in 2018 - are also parents to child Fin, 16. Violet has been vocal about her advocacy for both climate change and public health and recently wrote an essay for her university's Global Health Review that was titled A Chronically Ill Earth: COVID Organizing as a Model Climate Response in Los Angeles. Masked up: Violet detailed an argument that she had with her mom Jennifer Garner in the wake of the deadly fires that ravaged LA; seen last year

My sister wants to wear a Bridgerton-style dress to my wedding – I think it's ‘too white', others say I'm overreacting
YOUR wedding day is meant to be one of the biggest and happiest days of your life. But things were left up in the air for one bride-to-be after her sister shared the dress she planned on wearing to the celebration. 2 Posting on Reddit, the bride explained that she had asked the female members of her family to wear blue, so they could collectively be her 'something blue'. But when her 19-year-old sister wanted to wear a pastel blue dress she wasn't sure what to make of it. "Am I being a bridezilla for thinking this is too bridal/not on the mark?" She asked fellow Reddit users after showing a picture of the garment. Although the dress was pale blue, it could easily look white under certain light. Not only that, but the dress featured a white strip down the front, which many thought pushed the boundaries. "I thought this was a wedding dress at first," one person commented on the post. A second agreed: "It looks more white than blue. I would suggest a better colour, material, and style. The material looks heavy too." "That's nuts, it's obviously bridal, put your foot down," a third wrote. Another comment read: "Is she a Bridgerton? Yeah, I can see why you don't like it is is very pale." And someone replied with a reference to the hit Netflix show: "Scrolled way too far for this haha. Immediately when I saw it, in my head I heard 'DAPHEEEEE, YOU MUST MAKE HASTE!' Meanwhile, others were more concerned by the style of the dress than the colour, as some slammed the dress as "matronly." Laura Nolan says 'yes to the Dress' One joked: "Is she trying to look like she lives in 1800's London?" "It looks like a set piece from Downton Abbey or Bridgerton," a second slammed. "Tell her she can wear that dress on the prairie when she helps John-Boy with the potato crop," someone else chimed in. But others thought the dress was even worse than that. "I think it looks like a panty liner, with the absorbent strip down the centre. What an unfortunate dress," one said. Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. And another thought it looked more like toilet paper as they commented: "I'm sorry but that's the ugliest dress I've ever seen. It looks like crumpled up toilet paper. Tell her no." After the responses, the bride decided to confront her sister over the dress, and luckily she agreed to ditch it. "I told her it would likely photograph super light during the day and offered to pay for another dress she would like to wear," she explained. The bride was praised for putting her foot down by many of the Reddit users. One said: "Good for you, it's your day and you shouldn't have to compromise." "There are so many better dresses, help her pick something," another suggested. Wedding makeup do's and dont's Paige Williams, Founder & CEO of the iconic makeup brand shared her tips. DO: Go timeless over trendy We all love a trend babe, but for your wedding day? Let's keep it classic. Think soft glam, radiant skin, neutral tones with a pop of sparkle - You want to look back in ten years and still be obsessed with your glam. Classic never goes out of style. DON'T: Try something totally new Your wedding day is not the time to switch it up with neon liner or completely new brows babe. You want to feel like you, just the most elevated, glowing version. Stick to what you know makes you feel confident and gorgeous. DO: Prioritise long-wear formulas Your wedding is a marathon, not a sprint. You're not just walking down the aisle, you're dancing, hugging, crying, and posing all day long. You need makeup that's in it for the long haul. Go for waterproof, transfer-proof & cry-proof products. Your face needs to slay from 'I do' to the last dance and be able to handle those happy tears. DON'T: Overload your base Babes, less is more. You want coverage, not cake. Go for that breathable, buildable base that lets your real skin glow through. You're aiming for flawless, not flat. Trust me, your photos will thank you. DO: Book a trial Non-negotiable. Whether you're DIY-ing your glam or booking a MUA, a trial is your makeup dress rehearsal. Test it in daylight, take selfies, wear it for hours. It's the only way to know it'll hit just right on the day. DON'T: Forget your neck & chest Don't stop the glam at your jawline, babe. Blend that foundation, bronzer and glow down to your neck and chest, we're going for seamless, snatched and sculpted from every angle. You're the main event, let it show.

Trump gives major update on possible Gaza ceasefire
US President Donald Trump says that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is 'close' and could be reached 'within the next week'. Trump made the comments late on Friday, indicating he had spoken with individuals involved in the ongoing negotiations. The US administration has been working on a deal following Israel's strikes in April, which shattered a previous two-month truce. Hamas has expressed willingness to release remaining hostages under a deal to end the war, while Israel insists on Hamas being disarmed and dismantled. Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer is scheduled to visit Washington for talks with Trump administration officials regarding Gaza, Iran, and a potential visit by Benjamin Netanyahu.
