Hamas Leader: Resistance Weapons Are Non-Negotiable
A senior official in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Taher Al-Nounou, affirmed on Friday that "the weapons of the resistance are not up for negotiation and will remain in our hands as long as the enemy exists."
According to Quds Press, Al-Nounou stated: "We have not officially received any new proposals regarding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza."
He clarified that the movement "hopes the U.S. administration will exert serious and decisive pressure on Netanyahu to end the war on Gaza."
Al-Nounou also mentioned that Hamas "chose to remain silent and not respond to the Palestinian Authority's transgressions since the beginning of the war, but the latest statements were extremely shocking."
On Thursday, Hamas confirmed that "the outcomes of the Palestinian Central Council meeting, held in Ramallah on April 23–24, 2025, represented a profound national disappointment."
In a statement, the movement added that the meeting's outcomes "ignored the hopes and aspirations of our Palestinian people both inside the homeland and in the diaspora, who seek national unity in the face of the greatest threats to their existence and cause—foremost among them the genocidal war waged by the enemy against Gaza, and the accelerating settlement expansion and Judaization in the West Bank and Jerusalem."
The enemy army resumed its aggression and tightened siege on Gaza at dawn on March 18, 2025, after a two-month ceasefire that began on January 19 under a truce agreement. However, the enemy violated the terms of the agreement throughout the ceasefire period.

"Popular Front": Yemen remains unbreakable, strong supporter of Palestine despite renewed Zionist Aggression
Gaza – SABA: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) affirmed on Monday that Yemen, with its leadership, armed forces, and resisting people, proves once again to be unbreakable, while the increasingly impotent Zionist enemy continues its relentless targeting of civilian sites in Yemen. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP stated: "Despite the ongoing aggression against Yemen, it remains unbroken and continues to be a strong supporter of Palestine, its people, and its resistance." The Front strongly condemned the latest Zionist attack on Hodeidah, Yemen, describing it as a clear reflection of the bankruptcy and confusion of the Zionist enemy and a confirmation of its failure to counter the precise strikes Yemen has launched deep into the Zionist entity. The PFLP expressed full solidarity with Yemen, its people, and armed forces, praising their steadfastness. It affirmed that Yemen will always remain dignified, resistant, and an authentic ally of Palestine, at a time when others have failed to stand with the oppressed and grieving people of Gaza. A UAE aid ship carrying 7,166 tonnes of supplies left Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi on Monday to deliver crucial supplies for Gaza. The vessel, called Khalifa, is heading to Al Arish Port in Egypt and is loaded with 4,372 tonnes of food, 1,433 tonnes of shelter materials, 860 tonnes of medical supplies and 501 tonnes of health supplies, state news agency Wam reported. It is the largest aid vessel ever dispatched by the Emirates, and comes as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3. It brings the total volume of aid sent by the UAE to Gaza to 77,266 tonnes. The ship is also carrying a fully equipped field hospital that can accommodate 400 patients and 16 ambulances, Hmoud Al Efari, the UAE Aid mission's co-ordinator, told The National. 'The ship will arrive in the Egyptian city of Al Arish in the next weeks. It has a field hospital as a gift from the UAE to the medical sector in Gaza,' he said. The vessel is carrying 20 tankers to ensure clean drinking water access for Gazans. 'The cargo will be stored in the UAE's warehouses in Al Arish and later loaded to lorries to cross the border to the strip,' Mr Al Efari added. An uncertain future The aid shipment comes with ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas at a crossroads. Hamas is considering giving mediators until the end of the week to reach a deal or it will withdraw from the current talks in Doha, The National reported on Sunday. The latest round of talks mediated by the US, Qatar and Egypt began on July 6. Significant progress has since been made on some issues but Israel and Hamas remain at odds over several key questions.
