Report – Inter Milan Want To Offload Poland Flop To Saudi Arabia

Yahoo5 days ago
Inter Milan have deemed Piotr Zielinski surplus to requirements and are looking to offload him to Saudi Arabia.
According to Calciomercato via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have no plans to include the Pole in their squad for the upcoming season.
Piotr Zielinski joined Inter as a free agent last summer as one of the best midfielders in Europe, let alone Serie A.
However, after a hugely successful stint at Napoli, the 31-year-old has flopped at San Siro.
Indeed, a lack of consistency and recurring fitness problems plagued his first season at Inter.

Like Mehdi Taremi, Zielinski had a forgettable first year at Giuseppe Meazza.
Furthermore, Oaktree would have never agreed to sign them due to their age and lack of resale potential.
Therefore, they're both up for sale, with the club looking to cash in on them while it's not too late.
Yet, Zielinski seems to be perfectly satisfied with his life at Inter and has no intention of leaving.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will try to find him a lucrative contract in Saudi Arabia to change his mind.

New Signings & Forwards Shine In Inter Milan Behind-Closed-Doors Friendly Vs U23 Team

Petar Sucic, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Francesco Pio Esposito were among the standout performers in Inter Milan's first behind-closed-doors friendly. This is the view in today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They also praise Luis Henrique and Lautaro Martinez. Yesterday Inter Milan played their first friendly match of preseason. It was just a behind-closed-doors friendly between the senior team and the new Under-23 side. But this was the first opportunity to see the work from preseason training in action. Sucic, Bonny & Pio Esposito Shine In Behind-Closed-Doors Friendly SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – JUNE 24: Francesco Pio Esposito of FC Internazionale faces the media during the Training/Press Conference ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match between FC Internazionale Milano and CA River Plate at Virginia Mason Athletic Center on June 24, 2025 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by) Naturally, a lot of Inter's players looked rusty or lacking in some physical sharpness. However, there were some players who particularly stood out, Tuttosport argued. In particular, the new signings and the attack impressed. Midfielder Petar Sucic looked right at home in Inter's midfield. The Croat was the pick of the bunch among the central players, looking like he perfectly suits what coach Cristian Chivu wants. Then, wingback Luis Henrique also came on and impressed. The Brazilian scored an excellent goal. Meanwhile, Tuttosport argue that Inter's attack looked very formidable. Captain Lautaro Martinez showed his hunger. And it was particularly promising that the Argentine already showed a good understanding with 21-year-old summer signing Ange-Yoan Bonny. Then, Tuttosport also hail Francesco Pio Esposito for his movement in attack and physicality.

Italian Journalist Argues Inter Milan & Atalanta Are ‘Reading From Two Different Scripts' In Lookman Transfer Soap Opera

Italian journalist Paolo Condo believes Inter Milan and Atalanta are 'reading from two different scripts' regarding Ademola Lookman. Condo gave his thoughts on the burgeoning transfer soap opera in today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews. Yesterday the biggest bombshell yet in the summer transfer soap opera between Ademola Lookman, Atalanta, and Inter Milan arrived. Behind the scenes, the 27-year-old former RB Leipzig forward has been pressuring Atalanta into selling him. By all accounts, he only wants Inter this summer. Lookman had already scrubbed all traces of his current employers from his social media accounts a couple days prior. That was not exactly a subtle way to send a message. But yesterday, Lookman took his grievance to a new level. He openly demanded a transfer. Furthermore, there were harsh words as the player accused Atalanta of 'poor treatment' and 'breaking a promise.' Condo: 'Inter & Atalanta Reading From Two Different Scripts' In Lookman Transfer Drama BERGAMO, ITALY – JANUARY 18: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta BC looks on during the Serie A match between Atalanta BC and SSC Napoli at Gewiss Stadium on January 18, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) Italian journalist Paolo Condo writes that 'This ongoing drama suggests that Inter and Atalanta are each playing their part, reading from two different scripts.' 'Inter internally. And Atalanta externally.' 'Oaktree have long made it clear that their transfer strategy includes young players,' Condo niotes. 'With the potential to increase in value, like Sucic anmd Luis Henrique.' 'Marotta and Ausilio have secured a transfer budget to immediately revitalize a struggling team.' 'Lookman is 27 and is a top player right now,' Condo then notes. 'But it's hard to imagine him generating a future profit.' 'Therefore, Marotta, before asking for the extra cash in the budget that may prove to be necessary, is putting on the face of a relentless negotiator.' On the other hand, for Atalanta 'if they sell the Nigerian right now without resistance, it will feed United's appetite for Carnesecchi, and Newcastle's for Scalvini.' 'They would become a club who are prey to the bigger sides. And so Lookman must be frustrated.' 'First, the social media sulking. Then, the message to the fans.' 'In these cases, the clubs end up reaching an agreement 'because the player has given up some of his wages.'' Condo notes. 'That's almost never true. But they have to do it somehow.'
