Hell's Kitchen is about to get even hotter. Daredevil: Born Again is officially coming back for Season 2, and after that cliffhanger-packed Season 1 finale, fans are dying to see what's next. With more action, deeper drama, and a few surprise faces along the way, Marvel's street-level saga is ramping up to deliver another knockout season.
Here's everything we know so far—from when it's dropping to who's back (and who's new), plus a look at what might be coming in Matt Murdock's next gritty chapter. When Is Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Coming Out?
Mark your calendars— Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is slated to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. That's a quick turnaround from Season 1's March 2025 debut, keeping fans hooked without the usual long wait. Production wrapped in July 2025 after kicking off in February, promising a tight eight-episode run packed with intense drama. Unlike Season 1's nine episodes, this season trims one episode but doubles down on stakes, with whispers of a darker, more thrilling story. Who's Back in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Cast?
Season 2 is bringing back most of the fan-favorite cast, plus some fresh blood to shake things up in Hell's Kitchen. Returning Faces: Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, now rocking a sleek black suit straight out of the 'Shadowland' comics. He's hinted this season contains some of his favorite Daredevil scripts yet.
Vincent D'Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin—now the mayor of New York and more dangerous than ever.
Deborah Ann Woll reprises her role as Karen Page. This time, she's got a bold red wig and an expanded arc that fans are buzzing about.
Elden Henson is also back as Foggy Nelson. Yes, even after what happened in Season 1—he's expected to appear through emotional flashbacks.
Wilson Bethel's Bullseye is back, now fully suited up with the iconic target logo. He's unstable, deadly, and definitely not done causing chaos.
Ayelet Zurer returns as Vanessa Fisk, putting any recasting rumors to rest. Her dynamic with Kingpin looks like it'll get even more complex.
You'll also see Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson , and Michael Gandolfini back in their roles, continuing the grounded, street-level stories.
Jon Bernthal's Punisher shows up too, though in a smaller role, possibly as a lead-in to a spin-off special.
And the big surprise? Krysten Ritter is back as Jessica Jones , officially folding her Netflix antihero into the Disney+ Marvel universe.
Royce Johnson and Susan Varon , familiar faces from the Netflix era, are also back—helping keep that gritty tone fans loved.
Camila Rodriguez is appearing as Angela del Toro, niece of the original White Tiger. Expect some vigilante legacy threads. Newcomers: Matthew Lillard joins the show in a morally complex role that's still under wraps. Based on his past work, expect something unpredictable.
Lili Taylor plays the Governor of New York and a major political threat to Fisk—yes, things are getting political.
Sydney Parra, Annie Parisse, and James Armstrong have all been spotted on set, though their roles are still a mystery. What Can Fans Expect from Season 2?
Season 2 picks up right after Fisk's power play at the end of Season 1, with New York under martial law thanks to his Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Matt Murdock is fully embracing his Daredevil identity again—and this time, he's not holding back.
Here's what's brewing:
Daredevil vs Kingpin 2.0: This rivalry is now political, personal, and brutal. With Fisk in the mayor's seat, Matt is fighting not just crime, but the entire system.
Bullseye Unleashed: Bethel's return means more chaos, and his upgraded comic-accurate suit suggests he's not just back—he's ready to wreak havoc.
Jessica Jones x Daredevil: The crossover we didn't know we needed. Their personalities clash, but both have a deep respect for justice—expect tension, team-ups, and maybe a few philosophical fights.
The 'Shadowland' Vibes: Matt's black suit and some cryptic comments from D'Onofrio have fans thinking we might see elements of the Shadowland storyline, where Daredevil wrestles with darker leadership—possibly even taking over The Hand.
Political Intrigue Meets Street Brawls: With Lili Taylor's governor going toe-to-toe with Fisk and Lillard's mystery character stirring the pot, the show's scale is expanding without losing its street-level heart.
Flashbacks and Heartbreak: Foggy's return—even if only in memories—promises to pack an emotional punch. Karen's arc will dig deeper into her resilience and relationship with Matt.
And yes—this season isn't just setting up the next fight. Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum has teased long-term plans, even throwing around words like 'Season 3' and 'Season infinity.' So Daredevil's just getting started.

Whoa, baby! The real story behind the adorable star of 'Fantastic Four'

Spoiler alert! We're discussing important plot points and the ending of 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' (in theaters now), so beware if you haven't seen it yet. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' brings a superpowered quartet into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there's an important fifth member of that group: an adorable hero baby. Directed by Matt Shakman, the newest Marvel movie is a retrofuturistic sci-fi adventure in which the Fantastic Four deal with the arrival of a world-devouring giant called Galactus (Ralph Ineson). He'll spare Earth if he can have the baby son of superhero couple Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby). The Fantastic Four choose to fight, and little Franklin (Ada Scott) becomes a key figure in the action-packed climax. Join our Watch Party! Sign up to receive USA TODAY's movie and TV recommendations right in your inbox The MCU is famous for its top-notch casting, and finding the right baby was as significant to Shakman as choosing his other main actors. 'We knew that the baby would ultimately probably be the biggest challenge of the movie,' he says. 'Just because it's a little bit easier to pull off a Silver Surfer than it is a baby who needs to be a big part of these emotional scenes.' Filmmakers went down two different roads. Several babies were brought in for production purposes because they could only have youngsters on the set for short periods of time. (For example, they used a three-week-old infant for Sue's zero-gravity space birth.) At the same time, Shakman also needed to cast a 'hero baby,' which involve screen testing a bunch of kids, looking for the right one to be a scene partner for the A-list stars. Who is the baby in 'Fantastic Four'? They ultimately cast Ada, a little British girl who was 3 months old during filming. 'She has so much charisma,' Shakman says. 'There's so much intelligence in those eyes. Those eyes look just like Vanessa's eyes, they're kind of extraordinary in that way.' Ada's face was scanned 'extensively multiple times' so that they could build a CGI model of her to use in effects-heavy action scenes or put on top of other babies' bodies for sequences that filmed over multiple nights, like Sue's big speech outside of the Baxter Building. But the real Ada wowed Shakman in a couple of key emotional scenes. One featured just her and Pascal, as Reed Richards tells his son that he doesn't want Franklin to be like him and talks about his insecurities to the child. 'She's looking at him with such understanding but also curiosity,' the director says. Is the baby in 'Fantastic Four' CGI? The other major scene is at the end, where Franklin – who's embued with the 'Power Cosmic,' a big deal in Marvel lore – resurrects his mom after she dies in battle defeating Galactus. 'She showed up to play' that day, Shakman says of Ada. 'It was a really important moment, and Ada knew it was time to turn it on. It was kind of crazy. She seemed to understand, and I don't know how, what the scene was about. She was fully engaged with Vanessa, she was hyperfocused. Her little hands going down on the chest, that's her. The clapping after Vanessa comes back to life, that's her. That's all in camera.' Behind the camera, Shakman had plenty of help with all things baby, too. There was an assistant director whose job was to find the various babies used for filming, while production assistants 'would sometimes jump in with toys trying to get eye lines to work,' Shakman says. Plus, there was a teacher or welfare worker on the set with the babies, along with the mom, dad and/or primary caregiver. In fact, Ada's mom sometimes dressed up in Kirby's supersuit to help get shots early on during filming. By the time the movie finished, Ada "was very comfy crawling around on Vanessa,' Shakman says. And Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who played the motion-capture role of the Thing, also acted as 'an on-camera baby wrangler.' While Shakman loves working with babies, there are times when they aren't always in the best mood or dozing off or upset because they're hungry. 'But I got so lucky,' the director says. 'I had this really special baby who delivered an incredible performance and I still don't know how it happened. So I thank the movie gods for that.'

Revisit some of the best games on PlayStation Plus this weekend (August 1-3)

August is going to be a big month for game news thanks to Gamescom, but not so much for releases until the end. That's when we'll get our hands on Metal Gear Solid: Delta and the PS5 exclusive Lost Soul Aside. As always, we also have some great new PlayStation Plus games on the way on August 5, but that means we have one more weekend to fill before getting our hands on another excellent month of games. I'll be the first to say that navigating the backlog of games on PS Plus is cumbersome to say the least, but there are tons of top-tier games hidden in those menus you may not know are there. This weekend, join me in giving these awesome games some love. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Devil May Cry was the latest video game show to get adapted back in April thanks to the animated Netflix show that perfectly recaptured that early 2000s style. While it took some liberties with the lore and characters, it brought a ton of attention to the original series. Everyone has their personal favorite entry, but Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is widely considered to be the peak of the stylish action franchise. The Special Edition is built specifically with current-gen systems in mind for perfect performance, amazing graphics, but also a ton of new content. The most exciting of which is the ability to play as Virgil in addition to Nero, Dante, and V. If you like styling on demons, seeing some of the craziest cutscenes in gaming, and over-the-top battles, you will struggle to find a better game than this. Recommended Videos Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. World War Z: Aftermath One of the most interesting games coming to PS Plus next month is the cult classic DayZ. This survival game originated as a mod of another game, Arma 2, before expanding into its own massive zombie survival game. It is a hardcore and punishing take on zombie games, but also old, clunky, and it demands a lot of time to become proficient in. What I suggest as an alternative, or warm-up if you're keen on that type of experience, is World War Z: Aftermath. This zombie shooter is much more on the arcade-y side of the scale, playing more like a Left 4 Dead game, only with hundreds more zombies swarming you at a time. If you played Space Marine 2 last year, this is from the same team so you can expect that same level of mayhem. Grab some friends and have a blast ripping thousands of zombies to shreds. World War Z: Aftermath is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising I'll talk more about it next week, but we have a somewhat weak anime game coming next week. Sadly, it is still a rarity when a game based on an anime is even average, let alone good. But if there's one studio you can count on to make an amazing anime fighter, it's Arc System Works. This is the team that made Dragon Ball FighterZ and my pick for this week, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Don't let the fact that it's a fighting game turn you off — there are tons of beginner-friendly options and tutorials to get you pulling off combos and flashy supers in no time. Plus, there are tons of side modes and a fully featured single-player mode to play with. With full rollback netcode, though, this game plays like a dream online. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is available now on PS4, PS5, and PC.

6 highly-anticipated movies coming in August, including 'Weapons'

July was truly a delight for moviegoers. There were three major franchise blockbusters with Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. We got Brad Pitt driving race cars in F1: The Movie, and a horror reboot/sequel with I Know What You Did Last Summer. There was Eddington for the Ari Aster fans and Happy Gilmore 2 for those that wanted to turn on Netflix and turn off their brains and have some fun for a couple hours. Now that we are entering the final stretch of summer into the fall, the big movie releases might slow down a bit, but they're not stopping. August has a handful of highly anticipated flicks hitting theaters, so we're here to let you know what we're excited for. Here are some releases to keep an eye on in August: The Naked Gun - August 1 Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson bringing the iconic comedy franchise back to the big screen with impeccable dry comedic timing? Say less. Akiva Schaffer knocks it out of the park with this one. Weapons - August 8 The trailer is very much giving "I'll never sleep again" vibes, which is exactly what you want from a horror movie. Weapons stars Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich and Benedict Wong, and is directed by Zach Cregger (Barbarian). Freakier Friday - August 8 The Lohannaissance is upon us. Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprise their roles from the 2003 comedy, and we add Manny Jacinto into the mix. Honey Don't - August 22 Charlie Day, Chris Evans, Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza lead this Coen brother — Ethan, to be exact — movie. It's a murder mystery investigation with a top-notch cast. Highest 2 Lowest - August 22 Denzel Washington and Spike Lee team up once again, this time to reimagine Akira Kurosawa's High and Low (1963). Also stars Jeffrey Wright and A$AP Rocky. Caught Stealing - August 29 Austin Butler gets caught up in some dangerous shenanigans in Darren Aronofsky's latest, to put things mildly. This star-studded cast also includes Bad Bunny, Vincent D'Onofrio, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber and Regina King.
