Event in Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah District commemorating Imam Hussein martyrdom
A speech event was held on Saturday in Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah District to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Never to Humiliation!"
During the event, the district director, Khaled Al-Arshi, emphasized that reviving the memory of Imam Hussein bin Ali's martyrdom (peace be upon them) is an important occasion to draw lessons from the life of the Master of Martyrs in confronting injustice and rejecting humiliation and submission.
He noted that Imam Hussein led a revolution to confront those who sought to distort the true path of religion, sacrificing himself to declare a powerful beginning for correcting the course of the Ummah and implementing divine guidance in practical reality.
Meanwhile, Abdulkarim Al-Khabbat, director of the Quranic Education Administration in the province, pointed out that the tragedy of Karbala and the oppression of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) continue to this day. He highlighted the oppression suffered by the Yemeni people due to the Saudi-Emirati-American-Israeli aggression, as well as the ongoing Zionist-American aggression against the people of Gaza.
He also addressed the current challenges through which the enemy seeks to target the Ummah in its religion and beliefs, stressing that this represents an extension of the Yazidi ideology that aimed to strip the Islamic Ummah of its faith and subjugate it to enemies and global forces of arrogance and injustice.

Al-Quds Brigades target Zionist enemy forces with mortar shells in Abasan
Gaza – Saba: The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced on Saturday that they had shelled gatherings of Zionist enemy soldiers and military vehicles in the Abasan al-Kabira area, south of the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Brigades stated: "We targeted gatherings of Zionist enemy forces and their vehicles infiltrating the vicinity of Al-Nour Mosque in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, with 60mm standard mortar shells." This operation comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza—supported by the U.S.—since October 7, 2023. The aggression has included mass killings, starvation campaigns, systematic destruction, and forced displacement, in blatant disregard of international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to cease.
