MasterChef couple Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary have addressed rumours they're planning to take the next step in their age-gap romance after moving in together.
The lovebirds, whose romance continues to go from strength to strength, told Daily Mail Australia that while they are not planning to tie the knot anytime soon, they have become a family, with Declan taking on the role of stepfather to Sarah's teenage son Phoenix, 14.
'It's all relatively new but it's working great,' they said, adding: 'When it's right, it's right.'
While the reality stars' romance has come as a surprise to many, Sarah, 38, and Declan, 27, said they had an 'immediate connection' while filming the Channel 10 cooking show.
'Sometimes, things just appear out of nowhere for all the right reasons. We made an immediate connection,' they said.

Declan also responded to criticism he is 'punching above his weight' with former model Sarah.
'I'm happy about that (comment). She's beautiful inside and out and she's the better cook, everyone knows that,' he said.
As for claims their recent glamorous photoshoot with an Aussie magazine was AI-generated, Declan said it all comes down to Sarah's lucky genes.
'Sarah's just naturally beautiful. I'm happy with any help. Hair, makeup, AI!' he joked.
And with the couple now working and living together, are they worried about the chemistry fizzling out too soon?
'We are just starting our journey together. If chemistry is a problem this early on, there's no future.' Declan said.
'My future looks tremendous.'
Sarah and Declan went public with their relationship earlier this month, revealing that they had already moved in together following the high-pressure show.

They came clean about their secret romance in an interview with Stellar magazine.
Declan revealed that the pair 'instantly got along', which saw them spend lots of time together behind the scenes of MasterChef.
However, it wasn't until Sarah landed in an elimination challenge that Declan's feelings became apparent, and he knew he needed to tell her how he felt.
They also posed for the magazine, with Sarah looking stylish in denim as she embraced her beau.
For their first date, the pair visited the Grampians National Park for a romantic weekend away, exploring markets, eating at picturesque restaurants and going for walks in the Central Victorian Highlands.
After wrapping filming on the show, Declan made the move from Sydney's Northern Beaches to Melbourne – along with his dog Sol – to be with Sarah and Phoenix.
On Tuesday, Sarah's ex-fiancé Devinder Garcha broke his silence on her romance with Declan.
The project manager said he was happy for them, adding that he'd met Declan for the first time 'the other day' and thought he was a 'nice guy'.
They also revealed what keeps their chemistry alive, explaining: 'We are just starting our journey together. If chemistry is a problem this early on, there's no future. My future looks tremendous'

'I wouldn't say we're friends or not friends. We're pleasant, and good luck to her,' he added.
Devinder explained he'd spoken to Declan while Sarah was dropping off their son.
'We try to keep it all amicable. It's all the best for the kid. Declan seems like a nice guy. Phoenix likes him. He seems pleasant. I wish them all the luck,' he said.
'We both focus a lot on Phoenix. As long as he's happy, I'm happy.'
The father-of-one said he and Sarah were together for 'about five years [in] total' and engaged for two before they split.
Devinder stopped appearing on Sarah's Instagram account around December 2014.

Chelcee Grimes' new girlfriend looks just like Christine McGuinness as they go official

Singer-songwriter Chelcee Grimes has gone public with her new girlfriend, who looks very similar to her famous ex-partner, Christine McGuinness Chelcee Grimes has revealed who her new girlfriend is, and she looks very similar to her famous ex-partner. The singer-songwriter who has written for the likes of Kylie Minogue and Dua Lipa tends to keep her personal life rather private, but has gushed about her partner on social media. ‌ However, the 33-year-old footballer has now confirmed that she's in a new relationship following her split from executive producer Amelia Farhang, whom she stated dating last year. But now, the Liverpudlian has confirmed her romance with Rachel Slade, taking to Instagram to document parts of their romance. ‌ Chelcee, shared clips of Rachel taken on a lavish holiday as she posed alongside the swimming pool in a bikini, before another clip of Rachel running along the golden sands of the beach. Elsewhere, she posted another clip of Rachel dancing while the pair enjoyed a night out together. It comes after Cruz Beckham 'steals' his dad's tiny white trunks and family have epic response. ‌ The post was met with the caption: "I have 2 girlfriends," documenting Rachel in various ways, including different fashion senses. Captioning her post, Chelcee penned: "Not sure which one I prefer... What do you think?" Her upload, which has been liked over 500 times, was soon flooded with comments. Patrice Evra joked: "We all got many personalities." While Rachel replied: "I don't understand the question." Another person laughed: "They work well together please don't split the pair." "They're both my fave," said another. Meanwhile, Rachel bears a very striking resemblance to Chelcee's ex, Christine McGuinness. But both Chelcee and Christine have remained very quiet about their past, with Chelcee briefly opening up about dating publicly. Speaking last year, she said on the Taboo Talk podcast: "Yeah, I think... y'know they're the only ones you know about to be honest," about her high-profile romances. She went on to add: "There's been a couple. "It's the job I'm in. It's the industry I'm in. It's where I'm gonna meet people. Yeah it is weird." Both Chelcee and Christine met while competing on ITV's The Games in 2022 and instantly struck up a close bond, and were seen kissing one another in December of that year. ‌ The pair were also seen kissing at Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park in the same year, before locking lips again during a holiday in Ibiza just several months later. Meanwhile, earlier this year, Chelcee's romance with her ex Amelia seemed to "fizzle out". Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: "Chelcee's romance with Amelia fizzled out and they decided to go their separate ways. To friends, it would seem as though they haven't ended on the best terms because they're no longer in contact and have unfollowed each other on Instagram. ‌ "Amelia has been sharing cryptic Instagram posts on her latest holiday, which would suggest their relationship didn't end well." Meanwhile, Christine has previously hinted at her romance with Chelcee. The Blackpool-born star admitted that her now ex-husband, Top Gear star Paddy, and her family had all known about her sexuality throughout her marriage. Christine and Paddy, 51, announced in 2022 that they had decided to separate after 11 years of marriage. ‌ Speaking on the How To Fail podcast, Christine, who also appeared as a guest on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, was asked if she would label her sexuality. Despite hesitating, she insisted that she is a "free spirit." "No, and again, I've thought about it," she commented. Christine added: "A lot of people always ask me, are you a lesbian? Are you bisexual? Are you what? Is this a phase? "I've always been quite a free spirit. I think that's the only word I would put on it. When I was a teenager, I'd dated boys and girls. 14/15 was probably when I had my first kisses with, with both, and I never felt it was anything different or a big deal." But while she's had "situationships," she and her partners have never put labels on their relationship status. "My experiences with women have been lovely, and it's not like women are better or worse," she told broadcaster Elizabeth Day.

BBC faces more calls to axe MasterChef series – and top names call for Gregg Wallace's series NEVER to be shown

Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 2 MasterChef has been plunged into crisis after John Torode and Gregg Wallace were sacked 2 They were sacked by the BBC after an investigation into their conduct on the show Credit: BBC The cooking competition show has been left in chaos with a full series facing the chop after the sacking of presenters Gregg Wallace and John Torode over their behaviour on set. Contestant Sarah Shafi was edited out of the series after demanding talks with producers and asking for the series to be axed completely. She argued it sent the wrong message after the BBC sacked the hosts over their conduct. Now leading broadcast union Bectu has hit out at the show, insisting that bad behaviour "should not be rewarded with prime-time coverage'. Head of Bectu Philippa Childs told the BBC: "Whilst the BBC claims that it has consulted with contestants there appears to have been no consultation with complainants; freelancers who have taken the very difficult step of speaking out and who will legitimately feel distressed as the show appears on their screens several times a week over the next two months." She added: "If [the BBC] are serious about addressing this industry wide problem, broadcasters should not reward bad behaviour with prime-time coverage.' Penny East, chief executive of leading women's rights charity the Fawcett Society, also criticised the decision. She said: "Seeing Gregg Wallace on our screens will be deeply uncomfortable for many people, not least the brave women who have spoken about his appalling behaviour. 'It can't be right that men who sexually harass women continue to be given platform and allowed to maintain their profile and power. "We also know that all of the contestants will have put their hearts and souls into the competition over the many weeks of filming. To leave them with nothing to show for this feels uncomfortable. John Torode sacked by BBC after being accused of using N-word while singing along to Kanye West song Gold Digger "Perhaps editing out the presenters entirely would have been a better solution." This comes after a report revealed more than 40 historic complaints against Wallace had been upheld, along with a claim that Torode once used a racist term. However, the BBC later confirmed it would air episodes already filmed with the hosts, despite both being axed. Wallace, 60, was dropped from the BBC show in November 2024 after numerous allegations of inappropriate conduct in the workplace were made.
