Former Chelsea winger has wild idea which would be even less popular than Robert Sanchez
Chelsea's goalkeeper situation is the subject of much debate after the Blues broke off talks to try and sign Mike Maignan.
Currently the plan seems to be to keep using Robert Sanchez, although that's not a decision that will be very popular with many fans. Former Blue Pat Nevin has an even less popular suggestion, though.

'The goalkeeper position is a tough one for Chelsea because what they're looking for is youth,' Nevin said in quotes picked up by CaughtOffside.
'But goalkeepers, like centre-backs, don't really come into their own until they're around 25 or 26. They are two very specific positions in that regard. Look who's already on their books with Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Gabriel Slonina, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga.'

'I think the resolution to their goalkeeping problem could already be at the club. Kepa is as good as any of the goalkeepers we have mentioned and he's an option that I think is worth revisiting for Chelsea.
'I'm not sure if the ownership regime would think the same, but he's there and they're paying him.
'If he's the best option at the club, after learning a lot of things while out on loan this season, Chelsea shouldn't be looking all around the world for another goalkeeper.
'Kepa has got better with his feet and is a fantastic shot-stopper. While you can question his presence and it's a challenge Chelsea face, I don't think it's their biggest problem.'

We didn't think there could be an idea that would be digested worse than Chelsea sticking with Sanchez next season, but we might just have found it. Selling Kepa to Arsenal or Bournemouth for £5m this summer is a great result for us, and second guessing that would be a mistake.

LONDON (AP) — Novak Djokovic offered some lighthearted advice to top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka at Wimbledon on Saturday after gatecrashing the Belarusian's news conference. Djokovic and Sabalenka spent some time practicing together at the All England Club this week ahead of the start of the grass-court Grand Slam tournament. Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, then playfully interrupted the end of Sabalenka's news conference on Saturday by telling her to hurry up so he could take over the podium. 'What did you think about hitting with me?" the three-time major winner asked Djokovic. "How do you see my level? Am I good?' Djokovic, who holds a total of 24 Grand Slams, was quick with a quip. 'I think you have the potential. You're like a really talented player,' he said, before offering a criticism of Sabalenka — who is known as one of the biggest hitters on the women's circuit. 'Can I be honest? You're lacking intensity on the court," Djokovic said, drawing laughter. 'You don't have enough intensity. It's too flat. Liverpool have spent close to £200m so far during this transfer window. Landmark arrivals include Florian Wirtz in a deal potentially worth £116m as well as Milos Kerkez (£45m) and Jeremie Frimpong (£29.5m). It now appears the Reds will enter a phase of selling - before later committing to other transfers further down the line. Alexander Isak is thought to be the first-pick at No9. Newcastle woud like to sign him to a new contract but this deal doesn't appear as improbable as it once did. The Swede would certainly be attracted by the bright lights of Anfield but Richard Hughes and Arne Slot will have to come up with a fee of over £100m as well as a sizeable wage packet. Bayern frustrated in winger chase In order to do so, they could opt to offload one or more of their current forward options. It looks like Dominik Szoboszlai is set to stay in the lineup, meaning Wirtz reverting to a left-sided starting role. And Christian Falk has told Caught Offside that the German champions have Gakpo and Diaz in line as a backup option. Bayern want Diaz AND Gakpo 'Max Eberl should already be looking for alternative candidates for the wing. Liverpool's Cody Gakpo, for example, could be back on the radar,' he said. Gakpo is two years younger and under contract for a year longer - and would fetch a higher price in the market. With Diaz being valued by the club at around €80m, it means Gakpo could be in the bracket higher than that - potentially up to €100m. Should Liverpool achieve a sale of Gakpo in that category then it would radically boost their chances of signing Isak further on in the window.
