Trump vows ‘untalented late night' stars Kimmel, Fallon will be fired next
The MAGA leader took to his Truth Social platform claiming to have inside knowledge about the fate of ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' and NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,' following Thursday's cancellation announcement of 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.'
'The word is, and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, (Jimmy) Fallon will be gone,' he wrote.
'These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television,' Trump continued. 'It's really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!'

Amid CBS confirming it was pulling the plug on the top-rated 'Late Show' after more than 30 years, in what they said was 'purely a financial decision,' the 79-year-old president celebrated the shocking news.
'I absolutely love that Colbert got fired,' he wrote on social media last Friday, adding that Kimmel 'has even less talent than Colbert' before referring to Fallon as 'the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great 'Tonight Show.''
Fallon initially reacted to the 'Late Show' cancellation in a statement Friday morning, calling Colbert 'one of the sharpest, funniest hosts to ever do it.'
'I'm just as shocked as everyone,' Fallon said. 'I really thought I'd ride this out with him for years to come.'
He further slammed the cancellation during his opening monologue of Monday night's broadcast, before taking a shot at Trump.

'Stephen has done years of incredibly smart and hilarious television, and he's won 10 Emmys,' Fallon said. 'Trump heard and was like, 'Big deal, last week I just won a FIFA World Cup trophy.''
The joke was a reference to Trump appearing onstage alongside members of the Chelsea soccer team during their FIFA Club World Cup victory celebrations on July 13, where he was seen tucking a winners medal into his suit jacket.

"The Fantastic Four: First Steps," Disney's hotly anticipated reboot of the Marvel Comics superhero franchise, conquered the North American weekend box office, earning $118 million and sidelining "Superman," industry estimates showed Sunday. Trump, European Union reach trade deal ahead of looming deadline
President Donald Trump announced July 27 the United States had reached a trade deal with the European Union, days ahead of a self-imposed Aug. 1 deadline. Trump met with the EU's president, Ursula von der Leyen, during his trip to Scotland over the weekend, where the pair discussed terms and came to an agreement. The deal includes a 15 percent tariff on most European exports to the United States, similar to agreements struck recently between Trump and other major trading partners, including Japan. The levy is higher than the 10% rate sought by Europeans but a deescalation from the 30% Trump threatened to impose earlier in July.
