This week it's whether Russell Martin is a good fit for Rangers, if Steven Gerrard was actually success last time round, and whether Celtic should explore a return for Giorgos Giakoumakis – among plenty of others.
Here's just a flavour of it. You can watch the full podcast in the player above, or listen here.
Would Russell Martin be too risky for Rangers or a calculated gamble?
Michael Gannon: I think it would be a really interesting appointment. Rangers need a manager who's going to be a wee bit different in terms of their approach. He came a cropper for his ultra-attacking approach that at Southampton, he didn't have the players to do that in that league. But Rangers could do with someone thinking a bit differently with a swashbuckling approach.
We've seen plenty of Rangers managers over the years bogged down trying to beat teams. Not Celtic, they can usually compete with Celtic in a one-off game. But it's these games in Scotland where it's really hard to break teams down, not having that directness, pace or incisiveness. Being good on the break works in Europe; it doesn't work in Scotland. So I think it would be really interesting.
Graeme Young: The format of this show is all about debate but we're in perfect harmony here. Rangers have been missing that ability to squeeze the smaller teams, and really go for the jugular. He's probably been the closest fit for that, the Angeball style.
He played for Rangers during quite a low point and it didn't go well on the pitch, but he'll be self aware of that. He's the man you should want, he can bring some freshness to Rangers, and he appears 49ers approved – I think they want that style of football.
Was Steven Gerrard really a success during his first spell?
Graeme: Yes. Things have followed him about, that 'do I look happy?' interview and the phrase 'one in nine' because he won one trophy out of nine. That couldn't be more unfair. The first season there was signs of growth, they showed who they were, they were on the up. And they got more streetwise as the seasons went on.
His last full season, romping to the league, there was a real regret about the cup defeats to St Mirren and St Johnstone. But he righted the wrongs of the title near-misses. I think a manager of his ability would have found a way to do that in the cups (if he'd stayed). Over a slightly longer sample period, he'd have been able to fix that.
Michael: You've got to remember where Rangers were when he came in. They were getting battered by Celtic, they were miles behind. It was a real rebuilding job and it took a bit of time. The end of his second season when the league got shut down, they were struggling. They lost at home to Hamilton and there were a few grumbles at that time.
But he'll always be remembered for delivering that first league title for so long, and for denying Celtic the fabled ten. Also what he did was regain credibility in Europe, and set the foundations in place for the run to a European final which was a huge achievement. I don't think anyone can suggest he wasn't a success.

Rangers 'hold' transfer talks with Serie A winger as Jamie Vardy 'open' to Ibrox deal
The Premiership side are ramping up their transfer search with the Champions League qualifiers rapidly approaching Rangers have reportedly held "concrete talks" with Como over winger Samuel Ballet. A new wide man is on the Ibrox shopping list following the departure of Vaclav Cerny at the end of last season with QPR winning the race for target Kwame Poku. And Blick Sports claims that Rangers officials have been holding talks with the Serie A side over a move for the 24-year-old who spent last season on loan at FC Zurich. The Swiss side are said to be "increasingly likely" to miss out on a permanent deal with the officials from. The Scottish Premiership side holding "concrete talks" over a deal. Norwich City and Trabzonspor are also said to be chasing a deal. With both Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers potentially heading for the exit, a new striker is also in the minds of the Rangers' higher-ups, Jamie Vardy would be "open" to a move to Glasgow. That is according to transfer insider Mick Brown - who expects "movement" on the 38-year-old's future in the coming days after his Leicester City contract officially expired. Rangers are far from alone in chasing the veteran's signature with a whopping 10 clubs said to be in the picture, but Brown told Football Insider: 'Signing Jamie Vardy would be a good move for Rangers. It's a deal they've been looking into because they're always keen to capitalise on any opportunities to sign top players on free transfers. 'I expect there will be a lot of movement this week with contracts expiring today [June 30]. It's one I expect Vardy would be open to as well, because it's less intense than the Premier League which maybe at this stage of his career he isn't best suited to. 'Plus, it would give him and opportunity to play in Europe so he's still at a high level. 'He's performed to a very good level for a number of years and now he's maybe going over the top, so a move to Rangers would be a good opportunity. 'e'd fit in well and score plenty of goals, and that's exactly what Russell Martin needs. Especially if they're expecting to lose two of their current forwards. 'Then, because he would be on a free transfer, they can save some money which would then be put towards other areas of the team.' Croatian centre-back Luka Jelenic is reportedly a target for Rangers just 12 months after a move to Osijek. The 25-year-old only joined his current club in an £800,000 deal last summer and a bargain deal could be on the cards at Ibrox. Vitoria Guimaraes has also been linked with a move - but a path appears to be clear with O Jogo reporting the club are no longer interested.

17 players leaving Arsenal as Mikel Arteta's summer rebuild takes shape
Arsenal are set to release 17 players on Monday as their contracts expire, with a number of high profile first-team squad members to leave the club A host of Arsenal players will bid farewell to the club on Monday. In total, 17 players will be saying their goodbyes to the Emirates Stadium due to their contracts expiring on June 30. The list of departing stars includes several high-profile first-team squad members, as well as promising young talents yet to make their mark on the game. Among those set to depart is Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian international was a regular fixture in the first team during the 2024/25 season and Mikel Arteta had expressed his desire for the midfielder to stay. However, no agreement has been reached over an extension and Partey is now poised to leave the club as a free agent. The former Atletico Madrid player has not yet officially posted a goodbye message to fans, and the club has not confirmed his departure, leaving a slim chance that an extension could be announced this week. As it stands, however, Partey will not be playing his football at the Emirates next season. One senior star who is definitely leaving is Kieran Tierney. The left-back quickly endeared himself to fans after joining from Celtic in August 2019 and went on to make 144 appearances for the club, even scoring in his last appearance against Southampton on the final day of last season. "It'll be hard but it's a happy goodbye," said a sentimental Tierney as he prepares to rejoin Celtic on July 1, reflecting fondly in his farewell interview. "I've loved it here, loved every minute of it. There are countless memories that are amazing for me; your debut is always special, and winning the FA Cup as well in the first season. It's a great team, and I'm so close to some of the boys in there. I've been here a long time, so it'll be sad but a happy goodbye." Arsenal 's loan signings Raheem Sterling and Neto wave goodbye, as they head back to Chelsea and Bournemouth respectively after a season at Emirates. Sterling found the net just once during his 28 appearances for Arsenal, whereas backup keeper Neto only appeared four times behind David Raya. Despite the buzz surrounding Nathan Butler-Oyedeji following his debuts in the Champions League and Premier League, the promising forward is set to leave Arsenal with speculation linking him with clubs around Europe. The 22 year old's future lies away from north London after limited opportunities this past season. Penning a heartfelt farewell on Instagram, the player expressed: "Dear Arsenal fans. After 14 years at this club my time at Arsenal has come to an end. I would like to thank firstly God for giving me the opportunity to realise my dream for playing for Arsenal. I want to extend my appreciation to the first team, my parents, all coaches, physios, chefs and cleaners and teammates I've worked alongside with and most importantly the life blood of the club, the fans. "I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way through my hardships and through my good times. Arsenal will always hold a special place in my heart as being a boyhood Arsenal fan it was a dream come true to make my debut for the club. I will always be a part of the Arsenal family. I look forward to where my journey takes me next." Jimi Gower, aged 20, had the honour of his name appearing on the bench multiple times throughout the 2024/25 season, similarly to Jack Henry-Francis, 21, who is set to say his own goodbyes after a nine-year tenure with the squad. Khayon Edwards, another promising talent at 21, moves on after an impressive run in the Under-21s, where he netted 12 goals and dished out three assists across 21 matches – certainly catching the eye of prospective clubs. Meanwhile, other departing young guns may not share the same limelight but are no less talented, with bright futures predicted thanks to their evident skill. The 17 players set to depart Arsenal when their contracts expire on 30 June are: Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, Raheem Sterling, Neto, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Khayon Edwards, Jimi Gower, Jack Henry-Francis, Brian Okonkwo, Ismail Oulad M'Hand, Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand, Elian Quesada-Thorn, Jakai Fisher, Reece Clairmont, Romari Forde, Max Kuczynski, and Zacariah Shuaib.
