Ozzy Osbourne's 'made it' message as Black Sabbath prepare for final show

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and a host of megastars are gearing up for a supershow on Saturday Ozzy Osbourne beamed for the camera as he posed for a powerful snap ahead of the Black Sabbath concert at Villa Park on July 5. In a collaboration post between Aston Villa Football Club and Ozzy, the Prince of Darkness posed with a host of rock and metal stars ahead of the superconcert. The musician, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will be joined by the world's best heavy metal bands for the July 5 show before Ozzy retires from performing. The caption of the Instagram post read: "'It's taken us 57 years to get to the Villa, we made it. Back to the Beginning' - Ozzy Osbourne." ‌ ‌ Black Sabbath performed a farewell tour from 2016 to 2017, with all the founding members minus Bill going on tour. Last year, Ozzy took to his The Madhouse Chronicles podcast to admit the band's career felt "unfinished" as they didn't tour with Bill. He wanted a proper original lineup reunion, with all the band members sharing their interest in the idea. The huge comeback was finally revealed in the Back To The Beginning's announcement earlier this year. Ozzy first retired from live singing in 2023 because of his numerous surgeries and his Parkinson's Disease. 'As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine,' he said on social media. 'My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. 'My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently, groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.' ‌ Along with Black Sabbath, the Back To The Beginning supershow will include sets from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Gojira, Anthrax, Lamb Of God, Halestorm, Mastodon and Rival Sons. An all-star super-group will be playing, with The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, Megadeth's David Ellefson, and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst taking to the stage. The event will be hosted and compered by Game Of Thrones icon Jason Momoa. Sharon Osbourne recently said of the show: "Then you're going to see one icon playing with another icon, doing a Sabbath song and one or two of their own songs, and people playing with each other that you never you'd see. ‌ "Tom Morello is going to play with the drummer from Tool and they're going to have Billy Corgan with them. Then you'll see Slash and Duff and whoever they choose to play with. "David Draiman is going to come up and sing, Jonathan from Korn is going to be here and he could be playing with Chad Smith or whoever!'

Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg Matthews makes unexpected appearance at Oasis

Meg Matthews is on hand to support Noel Gallagher at the first night of Oasis' legendary tour. A source told the Mirror: "After posting about her ex-husband for weeks, Meg Matthews had a prime seat for watching the band. She was in great spirits before the set, watching Richard Ashcroft with pals." It comes just days after Meg was forced to deny that she and Noel had decided to give their marriage another go. The 59-year-old has been sharing throwback snaps on social media, prompting fans to believe that they were back together following the breakdown of Noel's second marriage. Meg denied the speculation but insisted that she would be attending the upcoming Oasis concert in London. Taking to Instagram today, sharing a slew of old snaps of her and Noel larking about in a club, she wrote: "TODAY IS THE DAY 4th July 2025 Finally here ….OASIS REUNION TOUR, Britpop was a British music and cultural movement that peaked in the mid-1990s, characterized by a revival of British guitar pop from the 1960s and 1970s, in contrast to American grunge. "It was not just a genre, but a reactionary and patriotic cultural response, celebrating British identity, working-class roots, and everyday life. To everyone who's there when they walk on the stage at 8.15pm will be a piece of history." Referencing the photo, she added: "That night was a lot of fun can't remember what after party gig it was .. back then there was always one which I was in charge of organising through @creationrecords money and fun had no limit back then." Throughout the week, Meg has been reflecting on her former marriage to Noel in the lead-up to tonight's mammoth concert. Just yesterday, she marked the countdown with an adorable snap of herself and the rocker.

Frankie Grande Has Released His Debut Album And Received Sage Advice From Sister Ariana

Frankie Grande, the elder brother of pop sensation and Oscar-nominee Ariana Grande, has released a debut album entitled 'Hotel Rock Bottom'. It is inspired by his sobriety journey and was released in tandem with Pride month. 'I'm eight years sober,' he told ITV News. 'Had I tried to release an album while I was drinking and using, I probably would have never released it, it probably would never have seen the light of day. If it did, god knows what it would have sounded like. I'm grateful that I took my time and waited until my instrument was clean and pure, and I could tell the stories that I wanted to tell.' Frankie, 42, is an American actor, singer, dancer, television host and producer who boasts 1 million Instagram followers and 1.5M TikTok followers. He performed on Broadway as Franz in the musical Rock of Ages (2014–2015) and in Mamma Mia! (2007–2010) and has also starred in regional theatre productions. In 2014, he was a contestant on series 16 of Big Brother , and in 2023, he was a contestant on Big Brother Reindeer Games . Frankie Grande and Ariana Grande at the Paris Olympics in 2024. (Photo: IMAGO) He recently celebrated the launch of his album at London Pride. 'It's a beautiful place with so many people of different backgrounds,' he told ITV News. 'The LGBTQ+ community has always been so accepted here, especially in music. I do think you have broken many queer artists here before the United States.' Frankie spoke openly about how supportive his family has been, both about his sexuality and his sobriety journey. 'I'm so blessed that I have such an amazingly accepting family who has allowed me to be my authentic self and supported me through some of the difficulties of being a public figure who is out, loud and proud!' 'As someone who has the privilege to be this gay publicly,' he continued, 'I'm really grateful to be handing the microphone, and I'm hoping to inspire younger people to feel empowered and to be themselves authentically.' Frankie says his younger sister Ariana, who is one of the leads in the mega-hit Wicked , has given him some sage advice about his music career. 'She's been unbelievable throughout this process. I think the thing she's learnt throughout her many years in the music industry is to trust her gut. For me, as a fledgling artist, I am scared to trust my gut; I will overthink things if I'm allowed to. I learnt from her to trust your gut, and it will lead you on the path that you are supposed to go down.' His new music, including singles like 'Boys' and 'Rhythm of Love' can be found on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Also supporting Frankie's music career all the way is his husband-of-three years Hale Leon. The pair was married by Frankie's mother, Joan Grande, at the Grande family home in Boca Raton, Florida, in a small, Star Wars -themed ceremony on 4 May 2022. Ariana once described them as 'two very incredible and cosmically destined souls'. Hale Leon, 33, is a model, actor and influencer. After their wedding, Frankie posted on Instagram to write: 'I can't wait to share all of these amazing stories, pics and videos with you all slowly as we get them, but for now, let me just say I am the happiest I've ever been. I'm married to the man of my dreams, our families have merged together so beautifully, and we are well on our way to happily ever after. I love you Hale Grande. I am so so honored to be your husband.' Nikki Peach is a writer at Grazia UK, working across entertainment, TV and news. She has also written for the i, i-D and the New Statesman Media Group and covers all things pop culture for Grazia (treating high and lowbrow with equal respect).
