Holywell boss Haseldin pays tribute to retiring Andrews
During a brilliant career with the Wellmen, Andrews grabbed 58 goals in 139 appearances, helping the club to win the Cymru North title during the 2023-24 season.
Team boss Johnny Haseldin told the club's X site: 'As captain, he led from the front. He played with professionalism, pride, passion and honesty - and he set the tone for everyone around him.
'When big moments came, you could count on him. He didn't hide. He stepped up.
'The standout moment? Seeing him lift the league trophy in 2023/24. That image summed up everything he gave to this club, one that became his own.
'It's not easy saying goodbye to someone who's meant so much. The place will feel different without him, but we part ways with nothing but respect and appreciation.
'Danny has been a top player, a leader and a massive part of our journey.'
Holywell will continue their preparations for the new campaign on Saturday when they play host to Llangefni Town in their first pre-season friendly.
There's one pre-season friendly scheduled this evening, with Penycae travelling to Ellesmere United.
Wales are in competition with North Macedonia in their World Cup qualification efforts - and the link between the countries will continue in European competition next season.
In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, Cymru Premier League winners The New Saints have been paired with North Macedonian champions KF Shkëndija.
Shkëndija came up against Welsh opposition during the 2023-24 season when they lost out on penalties versus Haverfordwest County in the Europa Conference League.
Craig Harrison's charges will have the home advantage for the first leg at Park Hall on July 8/9, prior to the reverse encounter in 15,000-capacity Ecolog Arena, in Tetovo, a week later.

The Ecuador international signed a pre-contract deal in the summer of 2023 to join the Light Blues the following January following the conclusion of the MLS season. But the Gers would get the deal done early, paying LAFC £1.2million to land Cifuentes just as the 2023/24 campaign was getting started. The midfielder, capped 21 times by his country, struggled. He made just nine appearances in the league and wasn't able to make much of an impact. Beale was sacked as Gers boss at the beginning of October and Cifuentes found opportunities hard to come by under his replacement Philippe Clement. In February 2024, just six months after joining the Gers, Cifuentes was on the way out. He joined Cruzeiro on loan but his time in Brazil would also come to an end after just six months. That loan agreement was terminated and Cifuentes then headed for Greece, joining Aris Thessaloniki on a season-long loan last August. He would become a key man for Aris, appearing 29 times in the league. Aris had the option to sign Cifuentes permanently in a £3m deal but they missed the deadline at the end of May to make it happen. They indicated to Rangers they couldn't afford the fee and re-entered negotiations with the Light Blues. But no agreement was reached and Cifuentes has now bid an emotional farewell to Aris. He'll now head back to Rangers and looks set to show new boss Russell Martin what he can do. Taking to Instagram, Cifuentes said: "Thank you, Aris! 3 "Teammates, coaching staff, fans, and club personnel: It has been a pleasure to share this season with all of you—a season full of challenges that has now come to an end. William Gallas has accused Mikel Arteta and Arsenal of making a potentially costly transfer mistake. The Premier League runners-up have been one of the more subdued clubs during the summer transfer window and are yet to make any signings. Arsenal are, however, set to welcome three new players to the Emirates Stadium in Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard. In terms of outgoings, Jorginho and Kieran Tierney have left on free transfers and Raheem Sterling has returned to Chelsea following his dismal loan spell. They obviously didn't think it was that important to add a top class striker. 'And I think that, when you look at their season, unfortunately, they didn't want the Premier League badly enough on a couple of occasions where they came close – last season, and also two years ago. 'They didn't want it enough to go and add that last missing piece of the puzzle. So now they are being linked with strikers again, just like they were in January. 'I hope they do get one of the strikers they want, because I hope they want the same thing every fan wants, which is to win the Premier League next season.
