1 dead, 3 injured in four-vehicle crash in Lincoln County
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. on southbound Highway 61 at the crossover of Route K and Route V. The crash involved a Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata, Ford F-150, and Buick Lacrosse.
The crash happened when the Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on Highway K and failed to stop at a stop sign at southbound Route 61, causing the vehicle to strike the Chevrolet Malibu.

After the impact of the crash, MSHP says the Hyundai Sonata overturned and struck the Ford and Buick, which were traveling northbound on Route 61.
According to MSHP, the driver of the Hyundai Sonata, a 23-year-old woman from Old Monroe, Mo., was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu, along with two passengers in the vehicle, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment, all suffering from moderate injuries.
The drivers of the Ford F-150 and Buick Lacrosse did not suffer from any injuries in the crash, according to MSHP.

A woman died and her two children were hospitalized Thursday after a traffic collision in San Mateo, police said. Officers, responding to a collision report in the area of Alameda de las Pulgas and Highway 92 around 6:17 p.m., discovered two vehicles, including a Ford SUV and a Toyota Prius, at the scene, according to the San Mateo Police Department. The Ford then broadsided the Prius, police said. Police said they had not yet determined why the driver of the Ford did not stop, but said drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the crash.

Zachary Shuman was a single dad raising his three-year-old daughter, before he was killed in a shooting in a Dundas parking lot Sunday. In the aftermath of the July 27 shooting, the 25-year-old's parents are now faced with 'the unimaginable loss of their son while stepping in to raise their granddaughter,' says a GoFundMe organized by the family of Shuman's brother-in-law, who are in New York. 'Zachary's sudden death has deeply shaken his family,' the online fundraiser says. This includes his sister, whose infant son was born just six days before the homicide and who will never be able to meet his 'uncle Zack.' 'This tragedy has left a hole that cannot be filled,' the family says, adding any donations will help with the costs of raising Shuman's daughter and supporting the family as they heal. As of Thursday afternoon, the GoFundMe had raised just under US$27,000, nearly reaching its $28,000 goal. Friends sharing the online fundraiser describe Shuman as having 'the biggest heart' and being 'the most caring friend.' Hamilton police homicide detectives continue to investigate the shooting, which happened around 5 p.m. in a parking lot on Governors Road, near Ogilvie Street. Police believe Shuman, who was driving a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck, had a brief interaction with the driver of a blue Ford Edge in the nearby Metro parking lot shortly before the shooting. Both vehicles then travelled to the parking lot where the shooting occurred and witnesses saw the Ford leaving. Newlyweds' honeymoon trip ends in fiery crash that kills husband and baby daughter
A newlywed's life was shattered when her husband and 1-year-old daughter were killed in a fiery head-on car crash while returning from their honeymoon. 'Macey, Hunter and Oakleigh were in a horrific car accident yesterday on their way home from their honeymoon in Pigeon Forge,' wrote Leigh Ann Payne-Weisser, Macey's mother, in a Facebook post.
