Andrea Torres remains single, says she's open to meeting new people
On Tuesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' the Sparkle star shared insights into her dating philosophy and what she looks for in a partner.
'Hindi na bago sa akin po 'to ah, kasi usually talaga, in between ng boyfriends ko, two years, three years, matagal talaga,' Andrea said.
She confirmed that her last relationship was with Derek Ramsay.
'Parang three years [ago] po ata kung tama ang bilang ko,' she said.
When asked about her openness to new relationships, Andrea said that she prefers to just go with the flow.
'Pagka sinabi ng friends ko na, 'Uy, meet mo 'to, feel ko bagay kayo.' Sige, mi-meet ko 'yan. Tingnan natin,' she said.
Per Andrea, she just waits for the presence of a 'spark,' a feeling of both connection and kilig, which she believes are crucial and cannot be forced, even if a person's personality is otherwise appealing.
'Alam kong once ma-feel ko 'yun, dire-diretso na 'yun,' she said. 'I'm sure pag ready na ako, darating 'yan.'
Regarding her preferences in a partner, Andrea noted that her past boyfriends have not looked alike, suggesting that physical appearance is not a primary factor.
'Feeling ko it's really sa ugali, kung mag-ja-jive kami, kung may pagka-old school siguro siya. Tsaka doon sa kilig na 'yun. Importante 'yun, 'di ba, tito?' she said.
Andrea is set to star in the series 'Akusada.'
She will be joined by Benjamin Alves, Lianne Valentin, Marco Masa, Sandy Andolong, and more.
'Akusada' is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata and will begin airing on June 30 at 4 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.

Snooky Serna reflects on how she was unmade, remade by showbiz industry
Snooky Serna appeared in 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' and offered a candid perspective on how the entertainment industry impacted her, particularly during challenging times. On Thursday's episode, the actress was asked by Tito Boy about how she was both unmade and remade by the showbiz industry. She admitted that her downfall was largely self-inflicted, stating, 'I'll have to humble myself and be honest na hindi naman ako—well, everything happened inadvertently, as I always say, as I love saying. It was not a conscious effort to destroy me. If any, ako ang sumira sa sarili ko no'ng mga panahon na ako'y naging durog at basag at talagang hindi na malaman kung sa'n pupulutin.' However, Snooky did point to a potential failing on the industry's part. 'Kung naging medyo may konting kasalanan din ang industriya at that point, kung siguro naging instrumental sila somehow, siguro was the fact that there was one point in time na parang tiningnan ako as a commodity and not as a human being. So parang even if I was hurting inside, parang nakatalikod lang. And I was exploited,' she said. Despite the profound challenges she faced, Snooky firmly attributes her remaking to a higher power and not the industry. 'I would like to take the opportunity to give a living testimony that God, only God, made me whole again. Not anyone, not the industry, but it was all in God's good grace and still is in God's good grace that I'm being made whole again,' she said. In the same interview, Snooky admitted that she had become arrogant at the peak of her career. 'For a long time, talagang it got into my head. Delusionally, I thought that, akala ko para bang I was just fighting for my rights o isang pained artist and I was fighting the system. Pero hindi. Let's call a spade a spade. Talagang it just all got into this head lang,' she said. She credited divine intervention for helping her regain humility. 'I praise God that He put me in my place. Ang daming nangyari sa akin na hanggang ngayon, nilalagay ako ng Panginoon sa lugar ko. That anytime, anytime, He can just take it all away. The oxygen in my lungs, everything around me, it's all temporary, so I have nothing to boast about,' she said. Snooky currently stars in 'My Father's Wife' with Gabby Concepcion, Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, and more. It airs Mondays to Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Network. —Carby Rose Basina/CDC, GMA Integrated News

Snooky Serna admits she got infatuated with Gabby Concepcion
Snooky Serna admitted that she got infatuated with Gabby Concepcion in her younger years. The veteran actress made the revelation in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Thursday, where she looked back on their original love team and their dynamics now working together anew in GMA Afternoon Prime's "My Father's Wife." According to Snooky, Gabby never courted her back in the day, but she did get infatuated with him. "Na-infatuate talaga ako, Tito Boy. Sincere 'yan ah, nakakahiya sinasabi 'to pero totoo. This is not showbiz talk, pag-p-profess na ito ng pagmamahal kay Gabby," she said. "Kasi 'di ba Tito Boy 'pag bata ka you have crushes. Ang talagang super crush ko si Gabs," she added. She also said that she did not tell Gabby about her feelings because she was quite conservative then. "Pero ngayon na para bang nagkaka-edad na, para bang, 'Oh it's now or never' you know? Joke!" she shared, laughing. Snooky and Gabby starred together in various films in the '80s including "Under-age," "Miracle of Love," "Story of Three Loves," "Hello, Young Lovers," and many more. During her guesting in "Fast Talk," Snooky noted that her chemistry with Gabby today as onscreen partners is still strong, something that Gabby had also acknowledged. She added that Gabby is among the most handsome actors of their generation, and she realized this still proves true today. "Today talagang lalo kong na-p-prove totoo nga talaga 'yung beauty ni Gabby is classic and never fading 'yung beauty niya. It's forever, " she said. Snooky and Gabby currently star in "My Father's Wife" alongside Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, and more. It airs Mondays to Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Network. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
