Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement: Airdropped aid is just "Whitewashing the Enemy's Face with Arab Hands"

Saba Yemen4 days ago
Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement stated on Wednesday that the airdropping of aid into the Gaza Strip is nothing more than an attempt to "whitewash the face of the Zionist enemy with Arab hands."
In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement expressed regret over the extent to which some Arab countries have aligned themselves with the policies of the Zionist enemy, participating in the starvation of the Palestinian people by dropping aid in a humiliating and degrading manner.
The movement emphasized that everyone knows these airdropped supplies amount to less than half a truckload—insufficient to feed even ten Palestinian families or save them from hunger.
It added, "Today, the enemy, with the involvement of these Arab states, is trying to deceive the international community by claiming it is facilitating aid through various means. Its malicious propaganda promotes the false narrative that Gaza is flooded with aid, all to evade international pressure and whitewash its ugly image before the world's nations, which are becoming increasingly aware of the criminal nature of this entity and its Nazi-like leaders."
The movement called on the United Nations and its international institutions, particularly UNRWA, to expose the Zionist enemy's policy of starving Gaza and its collaborators. It urged them to provide all evidence confirming the enemy's crimes, lies, and deceit before the world and international courts, proving the use of starvation as a weapon of war to break and subjugate the Palestinian people.
Additionally, the movement demanded that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) condemn the Zionist entity for using starvation as a weapon of war, prosecute its leaders as terrorist war criminals, and bring them to trial, ensuring they do not escape punishment.

Occupation kills 58 Palestinians since dawn

Gaza – Saba: Fifty-eight Palestinian civilians were martyred and dozens of others injured on Sunday in ongoing Israeli attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn, according to medical, local, and media sources monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba). Israeli enemy forces targeted aid distribution centers, neighborhoods, homes, and civilian gatherings across Gaza in what observers describe as part of a continuing genocide campaign since October 7, 2023. Seven Palestinians were martyred by Israeli enemy gunfire while waiting for aid in the southern Gaza Strip, and another was martyred after the Zionist army directly targeted al-Tineh aid center in northwest Rafah. Two Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in an Israeli enemy airstrike on humanitarian aid security personnel near the intelligence area in northwest Gaza City. Medical and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 22 martyrs from al-Shuja'iya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, including five martyred in a new strike on a civilian gathering in al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Elsewhere, 20 Palestinians were martyred and 44 injured when Israeli enemy forces opened fire on crowds waiting for aid at two distribution points in central and southern Gaza. Among them were: 9 martyrs west of Rafah, 6 on Salah al-Din Street in central Wadi Gaza, and 5 in al-Sudaniyya in northern Gaza. Three civilians were also martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a gathering in Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood in Gaza City. Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli occupation strike on al-Amal School in Khan Younis's Japanese neighborhood. Meanwhile, a staff member of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society was martyred and three others injured in an Israeli strike on the association's headquarters, which ignited a fire on the building's first floor. With U.S. and European support, Israeli occupation continues to wage a genocidal war on Gaza that has, to date, resulted in the martyrdom of 60,839 civilians—mostly women and children—and injured 149,588 others, according to a non-final tally. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or on roadways unreachable by rescue teams. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Govt Media Office in Gaza: Israeli enemy prevents entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at crossings

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that the Israeli enemy continues to engineer starvation, blockade, and chaos, preventing the entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at the Gaza Strip crossings. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office confirmed that there are more than 22,000 humanitarian aid trucks currently stuck at the Gaza Strip crossing gates, most of which belong to UN and international organizations and various entities. It explained that the Israeli enemy is deliberately preventing the entry of this aid as part of a systematic policy of "engineering starvation, blockade, and chaos," as part of the ongoing genocide against more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip. The Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the continued blockade, starvation of civilians, and withholding of aid, and considers it a full-fledged war crime that violates all international norms and conventions. It held the Israeli enemy, along with the countries involved through silence or complicity, fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian disaster and the disastrous consequences of depriving the population of food, medicine, and fuel. The office demanded the immediate, safe, and permanent entry of all detained trucks, the unconditional opening of the crossings, and ensuring the flow of aid to save the lives of civilians in the Gaza Strip before it is too late. Palestinian Scholars Association calls on nation to take action against genocide in Gaza

Occupied al-Quds – Saba: The Palestinian Scholars Association called on the Arab and Islamic nations and free people around the world on Sunday to take action in the field to support calls for popular escalation against the genocide and starvation being perpetrated in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Association called for organizing protests and sit-ins in front of Israeli embassies and the embassies of countries that support it, starting today and continuing until the aggression stops and the famine is lifted from the residents of the Gaza Strip. The Association expressed its concern about what is happening in al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque, asserting that the Zionist enemy police have become a sponsor of incursions by Zionist religious pilgrims. It emphasized that what is happening in al-Aqsa Mosque aims to consolidate the temporal and spatial division of the mosque and to redefine the Zionist intruders as pilgrims. The Authority called for the broadest popular, media, and scholarly engagement with the Battle of al-Aqsa Mosque, especially on the anniversary of the so-called "Destruction of the Temple," which falls today, Sunday, August 3. The Authority emphasized that al-Aqsa Mosque is not only a Palestinian issue, but rather a battle for Islamic existence, and that any negligence in defending it constitutes an abandonment of the nation's trust and its religious and historical responsibilities.
