How to Watch Samsung Unpacked: Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 Reveals
Here's what you can expect and how to tune in. CNET is also hosting a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked live blog and a live show, which will cover all the final rumors and big reveals as they happen.
How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
Samsung's summer Unpacked event will take place in Brooklyn, New York, and will be live streamed on the Samsung Newsroom, at Samsung.com and on Samsung's YouTube channel. Unpacked kicks off on Wednesday, July 9, at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET). CNET will be on the ground bringing you all the live updates.
What to expect at Samsung's summer Unpacked
Samsung's been teasing its upcoming foldables for the last several weeks. In early June, a Newsroom post pointed to the company bringing "an Ultra-experience" to "a smaller and more portable form factor." That apparently includes a "powerful camera" and "AI-powered tools."
The following week, the company said in another blog post that its "newest Galaxy Z series is the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet." It appears to be following in the footsteps of the slim and lightweight Galaxy S25 Edge, which was released in May.
Samsung seems to be especially focused on scaling the capabilities of its foldables' cameras with the help of AI. It noted in a subsequent blog post, "The camera will only get smarter -- helping users capture life's moments more vividly and make everyday experiences more seamless, personal and impactful."

An animated invite for July's Unpacked event begins by showing the slim side profile of a device that then splits into two phones. One of these phones folds like a book, and on-screen text at the end reads "Ultra Unfolds."
How many devices will Samsung unveil?
It's possible Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7 and then the Z Fold Ultra, or perhaps the Ultra will be the only version of the Fold. There are also murmurs of a more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE phone. Leaker Evan Blass shared renders of the rumored device, which appears similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but the phone could swap out the Snapdragon chip for an Exynos processor. Meanwhile, renders of the flagship foldable Galaxy Z Flip 7 suggest Samsung could nix the physical camera notch and opt for an edge-to-edge cover display. But we'll have to wait and see what the company has in store.
There have also been rumors about the Galaxy Watch 8 making its debut at Unpacked. Samsung has already given a sneak peek at its new AI-powered sleep and fitness coaching, expected to debut alongside the next Galaxy Watch.
If you're eager to get the upcoming Galaxy device, you can reserve it now and earn a $50 Samsung Credit at Samsung.com.

The Oura Ring 4 Has Been a Game Changer for My Sleep, and It's 15% Off Right Now for Prime Day
It's no secret that sleep is important. At this point, I think we all understand that it affects just about every aspect of our well-being -- from mood to athletic performance. But I never really understood how much some of my daily habits affected my sleep quality and, in turn, my energy levels during the day. That is until I started using the Oura Ring. What started as an interesting way of tracking my step count and workouts ended up being a real game changer for my sleep and overall well-being. Right now, all finishes of the Oura Ring 4 are on sale, with some savings as high as $60 off for Prime Day. This is the first time I've seen the Oura Ring 4 on sale, so I would grab it before the offer ends. Unlike bulky smartwatches, the Oura ring is sleek, lightweight and highly comfortable. I wear it all day, every day, and only take it off while I shower (which is when I charge it). Every morning, I check the Oura app to see my sleep score, which breaks down how much sleep I got and how much time I spent in deep, REM and light sleep. For more on sleep, be sure to check out our best sleep trackers and tips on getting better rest tonight. How I use it Nasha Addarich Martínez/CNET The biggest thing I started paying attention to was my "Readiness Score," which tells me how well my body has recovered overnight and how well it handles daytime stress. If my score is low, Oura prompts me to take it easy that day and suggests meditations I can access from within the app. I've also used the ring to tweak my nighttime routine. I used to scroll on my phone before bed, but after seeing how much it disrupted my sleep, I switched to the in-app Headspace meditations instead. I noticed how my sleep quality has improved since then. Why it's worth it Before using an Oura ring, I thought I was getting decent sleep. After using the Oura Ring Gen 3 model for a year and then switching to the Gen 4 (which I have been using for six months), I now realize how much better I feel when prioritizing rest and having a good nighttime routine. I wake up feeling more refreshed and energized. It's also one of the few fitness trackers I don't mind wearing all the time since it looks like a piece of jewelry, not a bulky tech device. If you're curious about how your sleep and recovery impact your overall well-being, the Oura ring is for you. In fact, this gadget is so useful and easy to set up, I think it would make an excellent gift for anyone looking to step up their health and wellness game.

The Ninja Ice Cream Maker You've Been Drooling Over Is Just $169 Right Now (Save $30)
You've seen it. You've wanted it. Now you can bag the viral Ninja Creami for a rare $30 off, bringing the $200 machine down to just $169 at Walmart during its Amazon Prime Day counter-sale. With seven different settings, you can have your pick of frozen creations with just the click of a button, from ice cream to sorbet to milkshakes and smoothie bowls. I'm not ashamed to brag -- I discovered the beauty of this ice cream innovation two years ago when I reviewed the Creami for CNET. I love how versatile it is. It allows you to make ice cream and gelato custards along with fruit sorbet mixtures and freeze them the night before. From there, the Creami easily turns out different ice cream flavors in about 2 minutes. Most at-home ice cream makers only make one batch every 8 hours since the center chilling bowl has to be frozen completely between uses. Just some of the decadent ice cream CNET made in the Ninja Creami. Karen Schiff Freeman/CNET The Creami is also great for special diets since you can add less sugar, no sugar or alternative sweeteners to ice cream mixtures if you choose. There's also no end to the flavor combinations and recipes to try. If that's not enough, the Creami allows you to add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts and incorporates them evenly throughout. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. If I have one complaint about the machine, it's that it's loud when churning. The good news is that it only takes 2 or 3 minutes to spin the base into a fresh, frozen summer delight. Best Prime Day Kitchen Appliance Deals Score some of the best discounts of the year on top kitchen tech during Prime Day, and our shopping experts have rounded up the only deals worth taking seriously this year. See Now Why this deal matters The Ninja Creami is as popular as small appliances get, so its price doesn't drop often. If you're looking to haul in the easy ice cream maker, grab it now for $30 off before the Prime Day deals are done.

Anti-Prime Day Deal: My Favorite Laptop for Travel Is Down to $270 Right Now at Best Buy
Best Buy's Anti-Prime Day Deal: The Lenovo Duet 11 Chromebook is a capable and affordable 2-in-1 laptop that just had its $399 price cut down to $270 during Best Buy's Anti-Prime Day sale. I test tablets and laptops for a living, which means I've tried devices of every size, shape and style you can imagine. I'm always on the lookout for a device that meets all of my daily needs in one package, including when I'm commuting or traveling. My search was essentially over when I found the Lenovo Duet 11 Chromebook. I've found that I turn to this little 2-in-1 laptop for my personal, everyday use more than any other device I own. I especially appreciate the versatility of the Lenovo Duet 11 Chromebook. It has an 11-inch touchscreen paired with a detachable keyboard cover, a rear cover with a kickstand and, if you want, you can pair it with an active pen for drawing or writing on the screen. There are two main reasons this device works better for me than most standard laptops. First is its compact, lightweight size. Second is that it's multifunctional. Since I regularly commute to work by train, both of these factors make the Duet Chromebook especially convenient. On occasions when I do need a bigger screen or a wider keyboard for faster typing, I'll usually switch to my standard laptop. But the Duet 11, which functions both as a laptop and tablet, is the machine that fits my daily life the best and most often. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. Why I like this tablet On the surface, you might think it's no different than an iPad or any number of Android tablets. But the big differences are the operating system, ChromeOS, and its price. If you've never used ChromeOS, it's sort of a mix between a traditional desktop OS, such as Windows or MacOS, and a mobile OS that your phone uses, such as Android. The combination makes it easier for me to get work done with a keyboard and trackpad or mouse, but it also uses apps from the Google Play Store, so it has a mobile device feel too. The only hiccup might be if your work or school relies on software available only for MacOS or Windows. That's never been an issue for me, as there's typically a web or mobile app I can use in its place. Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 specs Price $399 Display size/resolution 11-inch 1,920x1,200-pixel, LCD touchscreen CPU 2.6GHz MediaTek Kompanio 838 Memory 8GB LPDDR4X Graphics Integrated graphics Storage 128GB eMMC Networking Intel Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 Ports USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (x2), 3.5mm combo audio jack Operating system ChromeOS The Duet 11 helps me stay busy during my train commute The Duet's size is really nice for my train commute, letting me easily edit docs or respond to emails on my way to work. It has a fantastic front-facing 5-megapixel camera, too, so I can use it for a Zoom chat when necessary, and the camera has a physical privacy shutter to block it out the rest of the time. I especially like its zippy performance. It wakes as soon as I drop the keyboard open, and I can quickly tether to my Pixel phone for an instant internet connection. Battery life is strong at up to 11 hours in my use of it. Using the Duet on your lap can be a little bit of a balancing act, but it's doable. Its compact size makes it ideal for cramped coffee shop tables and other places where a full-size laptop might be awkward. It weighs only about 2 pounds with all of its accessories. Read more: Why a Chromebook Is Probably All You Need Like a lot of people, I unwind on my commute home with some entertainment, and the Duet shines for that. Pop off the magnetically attached keyboard and ChromeOS switches to a more touch-friendly experience. The tablet supports cloud gaming services such as Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now, which means that with a strong web connection, you can play all kinds of games. I love to play mobile games on it from the Play Store too. Best Prime Day Laptops Deals It's never too early to start shopping for an upgrade to your laptop, and our favorite Prime Day laptop deals are guaranteed to save you time and money. Check out the best savings here. See Now The Duet 11 also works as an e-reader In addition to being ideal for commuting and cramped spaces, the Duet is also a good e-reader. I use it for reading manga with the Viz and Shonen Jump apps, and I regularly dip into my library's collection of ebooks and magazines via the Libby app. The device is also good for streaming video and music, though I prefer Bluetooth headphones over the tablet's little speakers. While I mainly use it for travel and on my commute, the Duet is equally great around the house. I wouldn't recommend the Duet as your only laptop unless you simply don't need to do more than basic home office work and can connect to a larger display, keyboard and mouse. The 11-inch touchscreen, while great-looking, is a little too small for all-day, everyday use. But as a secondary device to a larger, more powerful desktop or laptop, it's just about perfect. If you're interested in checking out more ChromeOS devices, here are CNET's top picks for the best Chromebooks on the market.
