After nine years and 57 goals, Calvert-Lewin parts ways with Everton
Calvert-Lewin, who scored 57 goals in 239 league appearances for Everton, said leaving was an 'incredibly difficult decision'.
'This isn't something I chose lightly,' he wrote on social media.
'Everton has been my home since I was 19-years-old. It's the place that saw potential in me, challenged me to grow and shaped me both as a footballer and as a man.
'The choice to move on was not simply about me, it was a decision with my family and we spent a long time considering together.'
Calvert-Lewin had his best season at Everton in 2020-21 when he netted 16 goals in the league, but struggled in the following four seasons, scoring only 17 times in the competition. — Reuters

Arsenal sign Spanish keeper Kepa from Chelsea
ARSENAL have signed Spaniard Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, the Premier League side said on Tuesday, with media reporting that the club triggered a five million pounds (US$6.86 million) release clause to buy the world's most expensive goalkeeper. Kepa, 30, joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 for €71 million, but after winning the Europa League in 2019, the Champions League two years later, and the Club World Cup in 2022, the keeper has spent the last two seasons on loan.
