
Location of latest major Lotto win revealed ahead of EuroMillions excitement

The numbers for last night's Lotto were: 11, 16, 23, 34, 39, 47 and the bonus was 14.
While there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €2,648,684, in total, over 53,000 players won prizes in the Lotto & Lotto Plus draws.

In other news, every EuroMillions draw in May will give one player in Ireland the chance to win a massive €250,000!
This series of special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffles will guarantee players a top up in the prize fund for all nine draws, every Tuesday and Friday, over the month of May.
Typically, every EuroMillions draw produces ten winners of the €5,000 Ireland Only Raffle prize, but over the next month, the National Lottery have created something extra special. In addition to the normal Raffle prize, one winner in each draw in May will win a dazzling €250,000 on top of the usual €5,000 Raffle prize.
National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said: 'We're so excited to launch this incredible event for our players. It's going to be a whirlwind of winners in Lottery HQ! Not only are players in for a treat with the additional raffle prize of €250,000, ticketholders in Ireland will also be in with a chance of winning the juicy jackpots in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games!'
To win simply buy a EuroMillions ticket as normal on any draw day in May. For every line you play, you'll receive a unique raffle code. The code is your entry to the special Ireland Only Draw – no extra steps needed.
On each draw day in May, 10 players in Ireland will win the standard €5,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle (IOR). Those 10 winners will then be entered into an additional special draw, where one winner will take home an extra €250,000.

Irish Lotto player just misses out on €13.7m jackpot - but still bags huge prize
An Irish Lotto player came agonisingly close to becoming Ireland's newest millionaire after they missed out on Saturday's mammoth jackpot by just one number. The punter matched five numbers plus the bonus number in Saturday's (August 2) main Lotto jackpot, leaving them just one number short of scooping the life-changing €13.7 million sum. While the player may have narrowly missed out on the huge cash windfall, they still have plenty of reason to celebrate as they managed to bag the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €60,394 The numbers to look out for in Saturday's main Lotto draw are: 02, 03, 06, 09, 24, 39 and the Bonus number is 34. The lucky ticketholder was among 109,000 players who won prizes in Saturday's Lotto and Lotto Plus draws. In the Lotto Plus 1, where there was a jackpot worth €1m up for grabs, the numbers called were: 20, 23, 31, 34, 38, 44 and the Bonus number was 06. While no player managed to scoop the €1m top prize, 17 players did match five correct numbers to bag €500 each. The lucky player is set to bank a cool €1,005,000 after picking the winning numbers. A winning EuroMillions ticket has been bought in Co. Sligo with one lucky player set to land €1,005,000, the National Lottery has revealed. Friday night saw the special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle alongside the usual main draw, which had guaranteed a seven-figure prize money for one Irish player.
