'We have returned!' BTS reunite for first OT7 live in 3 years; tease spring 2026 album, sparking ARMY meltdown

Time of India3 days ago
Since June 21, 2025, a quiet yet intense anticipation gripped the BTS fandom, ARMY. That date marked the discharge of the group's final member from his mandatory military service. Fans around the world waited breathlessly - not for a comeback, but for something just as meaningful: a glimpse of all seven members together again.
Though a full-group live or photo remained elusive, hope flickered through two powerful moments. First, at J-Hope's HOPE ON THE STAGE concert on June 13, celebrating BTS' debut anniversary. Then, during Jin's solo concert RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, where three members each made surprise appearances across two unforgettable nights.
And then, on July 1, 2025, the wait finally ended. Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook - BTS in their complete, original form - went live. For the first time in three years, OT7 sat side by side, laughing, reminiscing, and opening their hearts. It marked their first full-group livestream since 2022, when they had announced their hiatus to complete their service.
New album teaser or spoiler?
Leader RM aka Kim Najoon said, "There's Lollapalooza and Jin hyung's tour as well, so if you guys give us some time, we'll be working on our music...In the meantime, we'll be communicating through lives or SNS."
However, V aka Kim Taehyung seemed to spill the beans. He asked, "We didn't announce that we're working on our music in America yet, right?" - a comment that made the rest of the members burst into laughter.

RM however, added, "Starting July, we'll be near each other more and work on our album. And when will the album come out?" - to which V responded, "Next year, spring."

This reality show broke him: Justin Min's tears and isolation on Devil's Plan 2 will hit you hard

When Reality TV Gets Too Real: Justin Min's Emotional Breakdown Ever thought reality shows are all glitz, games, and drama for the cameras? Well, Devil's Plan 2 just proved us wrong. Justin Min, the Korean-American actor who's been winning hearts worldwide, revealed that he spent an entire week on the show feeling utterly isolated and even broke down in tears. Yup, the guy you see confidently strategizing on screen was actually struggling with loneliness and exclusion behind the scenes. For anyone who's ever felt like the odd one out-at college, work, or even in your own friend group-Justin's story hits home. Imagine being surrounded by people, yet feeling completely invisible. That's the kind of raw, unfiltered emotion Justin brought to light, and honestly, it's something a lot of us have felt but never dared to say out loud. The Price of Fame: Not All That Glitters Is Gold Sure, being on a hit reality show sounds like a dream. But for Justin, it came with a heavy emotional price. He confessed that during the first week of filming, he was left out by the other contestants, leading to moments where he just couldn't hold back his tears. No amount of fame, followers, or fancy contracts can shield you from the sting of being sidelined. Let's be real-Indian youth know this feeling all too well. Whether it's being left out of a group project, not getting invited to that party, or feeling like an outsider in your own city, the pain is universal. Justin's vulnerability reminds us that even celebrities aren't immune to the struggles of fitting in. Why Justin's Story Matters to All of Us What makes Justin's confession so powerful is that it's not just about a TV show-it's about the human need to belong. In a world obsessed with social media clout and "squad goals," it's easy to forget that everyone, even the most successful among us, can feel alone. Justin's honesty is a wake-up call: it's okay to admit when you're not okay. And let's face it, in our culture, talking about mental health and feelings is still kind of taboo. But seeing someone like Justin open up? That's the kind of courage we need more of, both on and off-screen. From Seoul to Your Screen: The Universal Struggle of Fitting In Watching Justin Min's journey on Devil's Plan 2, you can't help but think about all the times you've felt like an outsider. Whether you're in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Seoul, the struggle is real-and it doesn't care about your background or bank balance. Maybe it's time we all cut ourselves (and each other) some slack. Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is admit you're hurting. So next time you feel left out, remember: even stars like Justin Min have been there. And if he can talk about it, maybe we can too. It's wild how reality TV, meant to entertain, can sometimes mirror our own lives so closely. Justin's tears on Devil's Plan 2 aren't just his-they're a reminder that behind every strong face, there's a story we don't see. Here's hoping we all find the courage to share ours.

BTS RM Reacts to Lovebugs at Jin's Concert: "I Didn't Even Know I Was Being Filmed"

When Even RM Can't Keep Calm: The Lovebug Attack So, imagine you're at your friend's concert, vibing, maybe humming along, and suddenly-bam! Five lovebugs land on your arm. That's exactly what happened to BTS leader RM (Kim Namjoon) at Jin's recent fan concert in Goyang. And trust us, even the most zen K-pop idol can't keep his composure when attacked by a mini insect army. A video of RM's very relatable reaction-let's just say he dropped a spicy "XX" (insert your favorite expletive here)-went viral faster than a BTS album sells out. The clip shows RM frantically shaking his arm and letting out a classic, unfiltered curse as he tries to get rid of the bugs. The moment was so real, fans couldn't help but laugh and totally relate. Who wouldn't freak out with five bugs crawling on them? The Internet Reacts: "RM Is All of Us!" After the video exploded online, RM addressed the incident during a BTS group livestream. He admitted, "I didn't even know I was being filmed! Five lovebugs landed on me at once. I just shook them off and it slipped out." Jimin, ever the mischief-maker, couldn't stop laughing and teased RM about his "legendary" moment. Fans and netizens totally got where he was coming from. Comments like "Lovebugs are the worst, RM is so real!" and "Anyone would react the same way!" flooded social media. Even Jin chimed in, saying, "A bunch of them flew into my mouth too!" That's some next-level concert experience, right? The Great Lovebug Invasion: Not Just a K-pop Problem Turns out, RM isn't the only one losing it over these bugs. The lovebug (aka 붉은등우단털파리, for the science geeks) has been swarming all over Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon this summer. The city got over 4,000 complaints about lovebugs just in the first half of this year. People at outdoor events, parks, and yes, even K-pop concerts, have been struggling to keep these clingy insects away. But here's the twist: lovebugs actually help the environment by breaking down organic matter in the soil. So, while they're a total nuisance, they're technically "good guys." Still, when you're at a concert and one lands on your face, who cares about soil health, right? Bugs, Bollywood, and Keeping It Real Let's be honest, if this happened at a concert in Mumbai or Delhi, the crowd would probably react the same-maybe with a few more creative Hindi expletives thrown in! There's something universal about the "ick" factor when bugs crash your party. Whether you're a K-pop idol or just another person at a college fest, the struggle is real. What makes this moment so iconic is that RM, usually the calm and intellectual leader, showed a totally normal, human side. It's the kind of thing that makes fans love him even more-because sometimes, you just gotta let it out! And hey, if you ever get caught on camera swatting bugs and swearing, just remember: you're in good company with RM.

After V, BTS' RM hangs out with Oldboy director Park Chan Wook, fans wonder what's cooking

BTS fans are once again in detective mode. And this time, their attention is on RM and V possibly stepping into the world of acting. The speculation reignited after RM shared an Instagram story showing him posing with Park Chan Wook. He's the legendary director behind Oldboy, Decision to Leave, and The Handmaiden. Also in the photo was Myung Whun Chung, a globally respected pianist and conductor. The image quickly set ARMY buzzing; and not just because of the company. It also raised eyebrows because this wasn't the first BTS-Park Chan Wook connection fans had noticed. V spotted with Park Chan Wook weeks ago Just weeks earlier, on June 17, 2025, V was spotted attending a classical music performance by Jo Sung Jin. He was sitting beside none other than Park Chan Wook himself. And even earlier, on June 9, V had shared an Instagram story that showed him deep in conversation with the director. Fans were already intrigued by the interaction, and with these continued sightings, the buzz only intensified. Now, with RM's latest photo, ARMY feels like they've just been handed another dot to connect. Given the timing and shared appearances, fans are wondering: Could something be brewing behind the scenes? Perhaps a film, drama, or even a collaborative project in the works? Are RM and V eyeing acting roles? Although no official statements have been made, fans are buzzing with the possibility that both RM and V may be considering acting ventures under Park's direction. For V, this would mark a long-awaited return to acting following his role in Hwarang (2016). As for RM, it could be his on-screen debut, a moment many fans have been dreaming of. For now, it's all speculation While nothing has been confirmed, the series of recent sightings and shared company with Park Chan Wook is too intriguing for fans to ignore. Whether it's a drama, film, or an artistic collaboration of another kind, ARMY is holding out hope that something exciting is on the horizon.
