Jihad mourns death of its leader, Raeq Basharat, in Tubas

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has moured the death of its leader, Raeq Abdulrahman Basharat, to the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic world. Basharat was assassinated by the Israeli special forces last night in the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas.
In a press statement issued Wednesday, the Islamic Jihad Movement said, "The martyred leader played a prominent role during the 1987 Intifada and was subjected to an assassination attempt in 2002, during which his wife was martyred and his hands were amputated."
It noted that Basharat had been arrested numerous times, totaling over nine years, and had gone on a hunger strike for 53 days in 2022 to protest his administrative detention before his release. It emphasized that Basharat "never hesitated to fulfill his duty and pursued his responsibilities with unwavering determination and resolve."
The movement stressed that the targeting of leaders and mujahideen by the Israeli enemy's gangs will not weaken the resolve of the Palestinian people, nor will it weaken the resistance's will to continue confronting the occupation. Rather, their pure blood, which waters the land of Palestine, will produce generations more resilient and more formidable.

Despite relentless aggression, none of the strikes managed to target the actual capabilities of this program. So, what options does this aggression have left against Iran after deploying its most powerful weapons and arsenal without achieving any of its goals?Moreover, this war revealed the greatness and significance of Iran's missile capabilities, while exposing the utter failure of the Zionist enemy in neutralizing or weakening them. On the contrary, Iran's Aerospace Force achieved remarkable success by testing multiple missile systems during the conflict, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy—including the destruction of several key military and strategic the enemy may have targeted some of Iran's military and scientific leaders, it failed to destabilize Iran's internal security. Instead, Iran uncovered hundreds of espionage networks, further strengthening its security apparatus across its territory. For over 21 months, it has waged an open war against nearly two million Palestinians, committing daily atrocities—killing, starving, dehydrating, and destroying all means of life—while the world watches in silence. It has violated all human values and flouted international laws and humanitarian still, it has shamelessly exploited so-called aid distribution centers, run by an Israeli-American company, turning them into death traps where hungry civilians are massacred daily. As of Tuesday, 516 martyrs have been killed at the gates of these centers, with over 3,000 injured and 39 enemy in human history has surpassed the Israeli entity in sheer barbarity and crimes against humanity. Today, the Gaza Strip stands as a glaring testament to Israel's blatant violation of human civilization's most basic principles.

The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth wrote on Sunday, citing sources within the Israeli security apparatus, that the damage caused by the drones shot down inside Iran reaches hundreds of millions of dollars. In this context, the Zionist newspaper Maariv revealed that, in addition to the loss of lives, Iranian missiles have destroyed buildings and streets, displacing tens of thousands of Zionists.
