Paul Pogba joins Monaco on two-year deal
The 32-year-old became a free agent on November 30 after his contract with Juve was terminated.
Pogba had been handed a four-year doping ban – following an initial suspension – in March 2024, but was able to resume playing in March this year after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced his punishment to 18 months last October.

He started his senior career at Manchester United before joining Juventus for a first spell in 2012, where he won four successive Serie A trophies along with two Italian Cups and two Italian Supercups.
A move back to United followed in 2016 and he spent six seasons with the club, winning the Europa League and League Cup, making 233 appearances during his time at Old Trafford.
The France international has been capped 91 times by his country and won the World Cup in 2018, where he scored in his team's 4-2 win over Croatia.
Pogba returned to Juventus in 2022 on a four-year deal but was sanctioned in March last year having been provisionally suspended since September 2023 after testing positive for dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA).
However, Pogba lodged an appeal and was successful in getting his suspension reduced.
Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 last season, behind champions Paris St Germain and Marseille and Pogba joins the club on a deal running until June 30, 2027.

A deal is still on the table for the 29-year-old but there is no agreement as it stands. Shankland remains in Scotland whilst the Hearts first-team squad are now at a pre-season training camp in Spain. Shankland wants his future sorted and has been open to the prospect of staying at Tynecastle Park. He refused two contract offers from Hearts in 2024 and the latest proposal is the club's final offer. Earlier this year, Hearts put forward a fresh contract which included a salary increase and new bonus package, but he remains a free agent after his previous three-year agreement expired earlier this month. He is looking at other options, with teams in England and Saudi Arabia having shown interest. New head coach Derek McInnes wants the goalscorer as part of his squad for the forthcoming season after he struck 68 times across the last three years in maroon. Contingency plans to sign a new striker are in place should talks between Hearts and Shankland come to a definitive end. McInnes has spoken several times with the player since being appointed at Tynecastle last month and is prepared to move on to other targets. A shortlist of alternative attackers has been drawn up as the ongoing discussions have hitherto failed to reach a positive conclusion. I want him to be part of those League Cup games [in July]. 'Lawrence understands and accepts that I have my work to do. He's very apologetic but has also asked for more time and patience. It's not like he's just sitting back enjoying the chase, he's also understanding of the job we have to do. Equally, he's a player worth waiting for - but we won't be able to wait forever. The likes of Marcus Rashford and Antony are looking for ways out of Old Trafford - but the Red Devils could end up paying to offload them. Alongside Rashford and Antony, Jadon Sancho was also loaned out last term but the trio are now back in Manchester. They all fell down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim and he's offered no indication that he wants to bring them back into the fold. Alejandro Garnacho was left out of the starting XI to play in the Europa League final and has since angered club bosses by wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Rashford's name whilst on holiday. But potential buyers - or loan destinations - know that United want to get the players off their books and are ready to exploit that situation, reports the Telegraph. Garnacho, Rashford and Antony have contracts until 2028 - with United now expected to subsidise wages even if they leave the club and are playing for a rival. Jadon Sancho will again be allowed to leave after loans in the last two seasons. United will look to negotiate 'salary recovery' from loan deals for their players, but the clubs eyeing their individuals believe their bargaining power has been massively dented by the fact they clearly want those players off their books. Rashford wasn't included in matchday squads in the weeks leading up to his Villa loan last season. He saw his performances increase at Villa Park and he's made it clear that he wants to move to Barcelona, but their priority appears to be signing Nico Williams. Antony produced his best football for years when he moved to Real Betis, helping them reach the Europa Conference League final. He won individual accolades and the Spanish side are keen on having him on a permanent basis. Last term they paid 84 percent of his salary. Garnacho has been told he can find a new home - and then proceeded to put up a picture on social media of him in a rival shirt. Chelsea were previously linked with his services as were Napoli. Manchester bosses have continued to sign players on big wages over the past decade, which has backed them into a corner when it comes to offloading those who failed to deliver.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah believes hard work will pay off in long bid to find new club
The Ajax youth product made his breakthrough at Old Trafford, where he graduated from the academy and made 30 first-team appearances – a figure that would have been higher were it not for loans and injury. Fosu-Mensah suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a spell at Fulham in 2019, with another following in February 2021 on just his seventh league appearance for new club Bayer Leverkusen. Such issues, thankfully, seem in the past and now the 27-year-old is looking to kickstart his career after spending a season as a free agent. 'At this age it's quite early and I think quite strange for people. 'I know I've been working hard and hard work won't go unnoticed. That's what I believe. 'If you stay at home, you do nothing and then you think 'boom, OK, I'm going to go this club or that club', no, that's not how it works, that's not my mentality. It's definitely a fresh start and I've been working hard.' Fosu-Mensah's last competitive appearance came in April 2023 but he does not believe he will struggle to make a comeback, pointing to others forced out of the game for different reasons as well as his fitness regime. Fosu-Mensah was on the bench a handful of times and fit for all but three weeks of that campaign, with more jarring issues following last summer's release. 'There was a couple of situations with agents here and there, which was a bit of a mess,' he said. 'People were speaking on my name who I never even had contact with. 'I would say like 80 per cent of the agents who were approaching clubs and people I didn't even know, who I didn't even had contact with. I think that was a big mess.' There were some talks during the winter about moving to the Championship – 'some of them I was aware of, some of them I wasn't,' he admitted – before a beneficial five months with Ajax. Fosu-Mensah has followed that training time with their reserves and first team, including some behind-closed-doors games, with daily summer workouts as he seeks a return. The 27-year-old spoke after one such session alongside Brian Brobbey and Steven Bergwijn from his home in the Netherlands, where a framed United shirt reading 'Fosu-Mensah 51' takes pride of place. 'I'll always be a fan of United,' Fosu-Mensah said. 'Always. I came there when I was 16, I left when I was 23. I've had many nice moments, won a couple of trophies, especially in my first season. 'We all know United, we all know the history of United, we all know what United stands for. 'Even this last season the Premier League was difficult for them but they reached the Europa League final, so it's something in the DNA of the club that they always want to win trophies. 'Jeremiah St Juste from Sporting Lisbon is a good friend of mine and he had great words for the manager, so I'm positive that United brought in a good manager.' Fosu-Mensah hopes 'good things will happen to the club and to the players' next season, including Marcus Rashford having made his Premier League debut alongside him against Arsenal in February 2016. 'I just want him to be happy,' he added. 'Everybody just wants him to be happy. 'The most important things is for him to feel good, for him to feel happy. Look, the quality is definitely there. Nobody needs to say anything about this quality, because he's a top player.'
