EASTENDERS legend Michelle Ryan has returned to the soap after 20 years away - and is back for good.
As gorgeous Zoe Slater, the actress is best known for her explosive 'You ain't my mother!' showdown with Kat Slater, now Moon.

She's now back on Albert Square as Kat marries Alfie for the third time and prepares to take over the Queen Victoria pub.
Viewers will see Zoe in two further episodes this week but she will be on board full-time this summer.
Speaking on her return to the BBC soap, Michelle said: 'It feels like coming home.
'After doing my first few scenes, it was like I'd never been away.
'It all happened at the right time.
'I'd already been thinking about a return because I'd met up with Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo) and Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell) and we were reminiscing our fond memories of the show, and I'd also joined social media and saw that there was still a lot of love for the character.
'It just so happened that at the same time, EastEnders had announced a new Exec who was keen to explore the potential of a return as he was such a massive fan of Zoe and the Slaters, so both of our worlds aligned at the right time, and I'm so excited to be back.
'When I was pitched the storylines, and when I read the scripts, I knew it was the right decision.'
EastEnders new boss, Executive Producer Ben Wadey added: 'Before I even stepped into the role, Zoe Slater was on my wish-list of returnees as, although we haven't seen her on screen for twenty years, her character has transcended time due to her popular storylines.'
The mother-daughter spectacle with Kat in 2001 cemented Zoe as one of the BBC soap's most iconic characters.

The scene revealed that Zoe, the youngest of the all-female Slater clan, was in fact Kat's daughter but had been brought up by Charlie and Viv Slater as her own.
In the storyline, Zoe is fed up of being bossed around by Kat and yells: 'You can't tell me what to do - you ain't my mother,' to which Kat explodes: 'Yes I am!'
Zoe also had a string of countless failed love interests, including a disastrous relationship with Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman).
The doomed affair - which resulted in a pregnancy - saw Zoe embroiled in the murder of Den Watts with accomplices Chrissie Watts and Sam Mitchell.
Zoe left Albert Square in 2005 but during her time away, Zoe and Kat's relationship was said to have broken down once again and the pair have been estranged ever since.
Michelle added: 'I can't say too much as there is a lot of drama to come, but Zoe is a mess.
'She's not the girl that left Walford twenty years ago, and she's been really struggling on her own.
'She has her defences up, but this week you will see that she needs help, but whether she is willing to accept it is another story.'
Michelle made her debut in 2000 alongside Jessie Wallace as Kat, Kasey Ainsworth as Little Mo and Elaine Lordan as Lynne.
She quit the show in 2005 in a bid to crack Hollywood and landed the lead role in a big-budget remake of The Bionic Woman - but it failed to impress and was axed after just one season.
In 2008 she ruled out a return to the soap.
She said: 'I just got quite bored in the end, to be honest.
'Doing the same thing day in, day out.
'It's just so boring.
'I like to jump from different things.'
She added: 'Money doesn't drive me.
'You couldn't get me back.'
However last year she said 'never say never' when asked about a potential return.

It talks about impartiality all the time. 'The truth is at the moment, [there is a problem] at the very top of the BBC. Not [all] the BBC because there are thousands and thousands of people that work at the BBC, that are good people, that understand what is going on here and can see it. 'We see it on our phones every day. The problem is they're bowing to the pressure from the top. This is a worry and I think time's coming where a lot of people are going to be answerable to this, and complicity is something that will come to many.' The BBC did not wish to respond to Lineker's comments, according to reports. Responding to a video of Lineker's comments, BBC Radio 5 presenter Nihal Arthanayake said: 'Gary Lineker is a good man. He is spot on about the BBC.' The BBC had commissioned Gaza: Doctors Under Attack more than a year ago from the independent production company Basement Films, but had delayed airing it until an ongoing review into a different programme on the region was completed. The broadcaster said in June it would not show the film due to concerns it may create 'a perception of partiality that would not meet the high standards that the public rightly expect'. Following the BBC's decision to drop the film, there has reportedly been considerable internal unrest over the failure to broadcast the programme, with the corporation's director general, Tim Davie, facing questions about it at a recent virtual meeting with staff. More than 100 BBC staff signed a letter criticising the decision to drop the film. Some 111 BBC journalists have also called for Robbie Gibb, the controversial BBC board member for England, to be removed from the role over his impact on the broadcaster's reporting. Gibb's position on the BBC editorial standards committee is also 'untenable' as his well-known political affiliations mean the BBC is not reporting on Israel 'without fear or favour', a letter coordinated by BBC insiders said.

Soap fans left fuming over 'stupid' change as episodes slashed from schedules
Soap fans have been left furious after finding out 'the only happy part of their day' has vanished as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders are all off air on Thursday and Friday British soap fans have been left furious after a sweeping scheduling shake-up has wiped their favourite shows from TV listings this week. Viewers hoping to settle in for their usual dose of drama from Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders have been met with disappointment, as all three major soaps have been pulled from the schedules tonight and tomorrow due to a summer of sporting action. Emmerdale, which normally airs an hour-long episode on Thursdays, and EastEnders, which typically treats fans to a 30-minute trip to Albert Square, have both vanished from last night's schedule. Meanwhile, Coronation Street, which doesn't usually air on Thursdays, will also be missing from screens tonight, leaving fans with an unusually long wait for their next visit to Weatherfield. The disruption has sparked outrage among devoted soap viewers, many of whom have taken to social media to vent their frustrations. One angry fan fumed: "Why have we no Emmerdale or Corrie, cause women's football on ITV? Why can't the football move to ITV2 or ITVX? Stupid planning. The soaps must have much higher viewers than women's football, a lot of people unhappy." Another ranted: "This is actually a full-on joke. It's about time ITV came up with a solution to suit all!! Some of us rely on soaps for routine and they are the only happy part of our day! YOU HAVE ITVX AND SEVERAL OTHER CHANNELS! Sort it out ITV!!" A third viewer added: "This annoys me so much. Former Match of the Day host, Gary, 64, flashed a smile a mile wide ahead of the match and cut a sharp figure sporting a crisp black suit, pastel-striped tie and designer sunglasses. The former footballer has more time on his hands now after leaving the BBC earlier this year following his 25-year tenure hosting Match of the Day. Physicist Professor Brian Cox and astronaut Major Tim Peake were also among the day's invited guests as was actress, Sharon Horgan, who wore a striking cream skirt with a scalloped black belt, polka dot blouse and and rose-tinted sunglasses, which matched her hair. And, of course, no Wimbledon line-up would be complete without Mistletoe and Wine legend, Sir Cliff Richard, who looked delighted to be back at SW19, sporting a dapper black suit with a white trim, striped tie and snazzy designer sunglasses. Centre Court will host three third-round ties, with Raducanu and Sabalenka leading the schedule, followed by Carlos Alcaraz versus Jan-Lennard Struff and Taylor Fritz versus Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Raducanu, 22, will walk out on Centre Court later today with a Wimbledon crowd behind her when she faces world number one Aryna. The Brit faces the championship favourite after producing her best ever performance - according to herself - when she beat Marketa Vondrousova on day three. Determined to continue her success, the player appears to be relishing the challenge ahead of her. After dismissing claims she is unlucky in her draw to face the Belarusian tennis player, the former Grand Slam champion stated she "wants to play the best". Highs of 26C are forecast in SW19, with sunhats and umbrellas again on display as spectators queued for ground passes early on Friday morning. Elsewhere today at Wimbledon, Portuguese doubles player Francisco Cabral wore a black ribbon on court after the All England Club relaxed its strict all-white dress code to allow tributes to Diogo Jota, the Liverpool forward, who tragically died in a car crash, aged 28, on Thursday. The footballer was heartbreakingly killed along with his brother and leaves behind his wife, Rute, who he had just married and three young children.
