Sharjah Futsal League: celebrating excellence and sportsmanship
This year's event was held under the slogan "Sportsmanship and Fair Play," with the participation of 347 members from its eight centres spread across the Emirate of Sharjah, including its various cities and central and eastern regions.

The ceremony was held at the Wasit Youth Centre Theatre in Sharjah City, in the presence of Dr Abdulrahman Al Yassi, Director of Sharjah Youth; Dr Abdullah Al Shehhi, Technical Director of Futsal Referees at the UAE Football Association; a number of media representatives and online news channels; officials from Sharjah Youth Centres; and members of the working teams, referees, and coaches.

The ceremony highlighted a four-month sporting journey, embodying the vision of the Rubu' Qarn, supporting youth and providing a safe and stimulating competitive environment that contributes to honing talents and enhancing sporting values among participants, preparing them for a promising sporting future at the local and international levels.
The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by member Ibrahim Khalifa Al Suwaidi. This was followed by a welcoming speech by member Issa Abdullah Al Mazmi, in which he expressed the Foundation's appreciation to everyone who supported this success.
Successful journey
Attendees watched a short film documenting the league's most prominent milestones, capturing hundreds of hours of intensive training and competitive matches, from moments of challenge to team spirit and discipline on the field, all the way to victory and ascent to the podium. This film embodied the advanced technical level and sportsmanship that pervaded the tournament atmosphere.

The ceremony concluded with an honoring ceremony for the referees' management at the UAE Football Association, in recognition of their professional role in managing matches, which contributed to enhancing players' adherence to the rules and guiding them to proper conduct on the field, reflecting the league's educational and sporting objectives.
The ceremony also included media representatives, news websites, and electronic media platforms for their media support in highlighting the league's activities, documenting its moments, and conveying a true, bright image. Al Dhaid Club Launches "Our Holiday Is Different" Activities
Organised by the club under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), the programme saw widespread participation from children and adolescents, as well as a remarkable presence of parents and a number of officials and administrative and supervisory staff at the club. Optimal use of leisure time during summer vacation The launch of the programme comes within the context of the Emirate of Sharjah's commitment to promoting the concept of optimal use of leisure time during the summer vacation, embodying the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to nurture generations and provide a safe and educational summer environment that contributes to building their skills and enhancing their capabilities. The launch event was attended by His Excellency Malik Musabah Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee; His Excellency Saif bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; Mr. Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Club; a number of supervisors and organisers, and a crowd of parents who expressed their pride in the level of organisation and the activities the Club had prepared for their children. Al Batayeh Club launches 'Our Holiday is Different'
This came in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Club Chairman, and Abdullatif Al Fardan, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, along with board members, a wide official and public turnout, and active participation from children and their families from Al Batayeh area, in a lively and joyful atmosphere.
