The Pittsburgh Steelers officially announced on Thursday that they have signed general manager Omar Khan to a new three-year contract ... a move that comes on the heels of some substantial moving and shaking this offseason.

The deal locks in the idea of the GM remaining in the Steel City through at least the 2028 NFL season.
Khan has been in charge of the Steelers' front office since 2022 and has worked in combination with longtime head coach Mike Tomlin to keep Pittsburgh in perennial playoff contention.
"I am excited to announce we have signed Omar to a new three-year contract," said Steelers President Art Rooney II via Steelers.com. "Omar and his team have done a great job over the past three years in constructing our roster through the NFL Draft, strategic trades, and free agency. We look forward to continuing that trend that will lead to even more success on the field."
Prior to assuming the role here as general manager, Kahn worked for the team on projects including trades, free agency and other moves.

The Steelers' aggressiveness this offseason has brought to the roster the likes of Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith, DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers as the attempt to repeat as a playoff qualifier.
Kahn, 48, is the son of immigrants and is a native of New Orleans. He is in his 25th year here with the Steelers.

OKC Thunder 2025 Summer League Roster And Full Two-Event Schedule Finalized
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - DECEMBER 28: Ajay Mitchell #25 of the Oklahoma City Thunder brings the ... (Photo by Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images) While the Oklahoma City Thunder recently won an NBA Championship and already have 15 players accounted for on next season's roster, NBA Summer League is still an important milestone in the offseason. Over the next few weeks, the Thunder will play at least eight games across two cities in an effort to develop young talent and get a look at other interesting prospects across the league. Oklahoma City will participate in both the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas circuits, which means plenty of action in the coming days. It all begins on Saturday, andthen will continue for multiple weeks. Here's everything you need to know about the Thunder's upcoming NBA Summer League action. Oklahoma City officially unveiled its roster for NBA Summer League on Friday afternoon, which gives insight into what to expect over the next few weeks. It's largely an inexperienced group of players, primarily built with rookies with zero NBA experience and five players with just one season under their belt. As such, Ajay Mitchell, Alex Ducas, Brandon Carlson, Malevy Leons and Jazian Gortman will be the veterans on this team, despite having minimal experience. Here's the Thunder's official roster for NBA Summer League: Thunder NBA Summer League Roster Nikola Topic is undoubtedly the most interesting player on this roster. Viewed as a potential top-five pick 18 months ago leading into the 2024 NBA Draft, he dealt with a knee injury and ultimately slipped to the Thunder at No. 12 before undergoing surgery and missing all of last season. NBA Summer League will be his first time playing game action in an Oklahoma City uniform. Alongside him in the backcourt will be Ajay Mitchell, who carved out a spot in the Thunder's rotation last season as a rookie and will likely be the best player on the roster this summer. From there, Brandon Carlson and Alex Ducas are among the notable players on the roster, as both were on a two-way contract in Oklahoma City last season and will be looking to prove their worth another. Furthermore, Viktor Lakhin is a legitimate NBA talent, but he recently suffered a foot injury and won't be able to compete. Similarly, it's important to note that Thomas Sorber and Payton Sandfort are on the roster, but not expected to play. Sorber is still recovering from a season-ending foot injury, while Sandfort is also rehabbing a dual shoulder issue. Both are among the most promising on this list of players, but won't be on the floor this summer in game action. Once again, the Thunder will compete in a smaller NBA Summer League in Salt Lake City to kick off its long stretch of action in July. Only four teams compete in this event, which has become a tradition for each of these franchises every summer. From there, the Thunder heads to Las Vegas for at least five more games right after wrapping up in Utah. The Las Vegas event is the bigger of the two that OKC participates in, as all 30 NBA teams compete in that one. As outlined by the NBA, after each team's first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs. The four playoff teams and their seeds for playoff games will be determined by winning percentage in each team's first four games, with tiebreaker criteria available here. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game to round out their summer. NBA Summer League is important for not just the players on every team, but also for the teams themselves. This is one of the best forums to evaluate young talent to win on the margins. Especially for the Thunder, filling out the two-way contracts with real contributors who could have the chance to make their way to the 15-man roster at some point is a huge advantage when it comes to roster building.

Here's Why Aehr Test Systems Surged in June (Hint: It's AI related)
Aehr Test Systems is not a one-trick pony, and the company is impressively diversifying its revenue streams. The market is speculating that its new customers could prove lucrative and lasting. 10 stocks we like better than Aehr Test Systems › Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ: AEHR) stock rose by 35.5% in June, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence. The move comes as positive developments in the end markets that Aehr is targeting helped support the idea that the company can diversify its revenue streams and improve its growth in the process. The company is best known for its test and burn-in equipment for the silicon carbide (SiC) wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) market. As management notes, this end market contributed 90% of Aehr's revenue in 2024. Unfortunately, at least from a near-term perspective, the key driver for Aehr's SiC WLBI solutions is the electric vehicle (EV) market and its associated charging infrastructure. Aehr's key customers in this market, which include ON Semiconductor, have come under pressure due to the ongoing relatively high interest rate negatively impacting EV sales. For reference, and by way of example, Wall Street analysts expect ON Semiconductor's sales to decline by 16.5% in 2025. Consequently, Aehr needs to develop other markets to help offset weakness in its core SiC WLBI market. And the good news is it's not only doing that, but those markets are also in growth mode. The progress was noted in the third-quarter earnings presentation in April with CEO Gayn Erickson outlining that SiC WLBI revenue is now tracking to "less than 40%, with artificial intelligence (AI) processors burn-in representing over 35% of our business in just the first year." Furthermore, in the third quarter, Aehr had four customers accounting for 10% of its revenue, with three of them coming from new markets for Aehr: WLBI for AI processors Packaged part burn-in (PPBI) "for qualification and ongoing process monitoring of AI processors" "WLBI of gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductors" Fast forward to June, and the positive momentum in AI and GaN WLBI spending has continued with Nvidia's well-received earnings report coming at the end of May. Moreover, Nvidia is working on developing a data center architecture for the next generation of data centers, starting in 2027, and has named GaN semiconductor company Navitas Semiconductor as a partner. As such, the market is speculating that Navitas could be a potential customer of Aehr Test Systems. The growth of alternative revenue streams is a significant plus for Aehr's investment case, and demand for SiC WLBI is likely to improve over time as EV investment is expected to increase. All told, the company's revenue and earnings remain highly cyclical, but its new end markets are helping to reduce its heavy reliance on EV spending, which has benefited the stock in June.
